Brianna was the best. We had great communication before, during and after the drop-in. The photos were unexpected and gave me peace of mind. And thank you for doing this last minute. I don’t know what I would have done without you. Will be seeing you again!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from small to medium, from puppies to seniors! Along with that, I also have a senior dog myself, so I know best on how to handle them and care for them. I’ve interned at a doggy daycare, so I also have knowledge on taking care of multiple dogs at once and keeping their temper in check. GENERAL FYI: I will be free for services throughout breaks & holidays, but during the regular school year, I will be in state college for…you guessed it! College! I’ll have my break times listed below once I get that information in case if you want to book me ahead of time for holidays! I’m currently a college freshman working remotely! So to say that I have a lot of time is an understatement…the amount of time I have this summer is unimaginable! So whether you need someone to walk your dogs every day of the week, or watch them for days, you can be sure that I definitely have the time for that! I’ll make sure that your fur babies will have the most fun with me! I’ll make sure to match their pace with playtime, along with certain breed characteristics, or personal preferences! I tailor myself uniquely to every new animal!

I have much passion, care and respect for animals. I take pride for the hundreds of all kinds of animals I rescued.

I am so happy to have Brenda to help care for our family’s new puppy. It is very reassuring to me that he has a scheduled playtime with Brenda when we have other commitments. I especially love the pictures that she sends after the visits so that we can see how much fun our little guy had. She is a wonderful sitter!

Katie was great with our 10 year old Havanese Bailey. She was always on time and sent pictures and videos of him for every visit, which gave us peace of mind that he was well taken care of. She communicated in a timely manner and got back to us with any questions. This was our first time using Rover and we will definitely use Katie again in the future.

About: Throughout high school, my family fostered dogs through a local rescue, where we had the opportunity to take in dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve grown up with dogs and around animals and I have always been the go to pet and house sitter for friends and family! I have taken care of my own dogs in addition to fostering dogs for about 2 years and dog sitting for families for over 3 years! I am currently a college student at Lehigh University living on campus and I do have a car, so I am more than willing to stop by and care for your pets or dog and house ist for longer times if needed! Having experience in dog sitting in addition to fostering dogs and cats, I have a good understanding of how to care for a pet and how to cater to their needs and their environment, no matter their size, temperament, or age!

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, primarily cats but dogs and fish as well. Most other animals I put extensive research into the care of when considering owning them, and I would be more than happy to use that knowledge to give your animals the best care possible. I am currently working on continuing my education, so having a way to cover my bills that allows me a flexible schedule doing something I love seemed the perfect fit. Raising my own cat, Tabitha, from a kitten to be a very social, outgoing, sweet girl who loves going for harness walks has left me with a healthy appreciation of how well it works if you treat an animal with respect and expect the same. That being said, house rules come first, and I will make sure to enforce them in your absence.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and love every type breed and size. I am the go to friend when a friend needs someone to come let their dogs out or watch them over a weekend. I have a 3 year old Pitt/Staffy that I rescued when he was very young. I work 4 days a week, which I will typically block off, but am home several times for walks and care. If needing days covered outside my availability, given it would be a good fit and pickup/dropoff works with my schedule, I can try to accommodate. I block off any time I’ll be out of town and mainly just chill at home with my own pitty otherwise. We go on daily walks for the needed exercise and energy burn. My apartment is smaller but we have a great neighborhood to walk in. We have Pennypack park I go to for walks frequently and visit other outdoor dog parks in Jersey once a weekend. I have an extra crate if it’s needed and lots of toys.

Cathy was all I could have hoped for in a caregiver for my sweet kitty. She was loving and followed my directions carefully. Philly was happy to see me when I got home, but calm and content. She had eaten her normal amount of food and Cathy sent pics of Philly playing! The pics were very reassuring. Thank you Cathy.

About: About Me Having grown up with dogs for most of my life, I understand that a pet is a family member who deserves undivided attention and care. In my professional life, I am a Special Education Teacher, a role that has gifted me with immense patience, a calm demeanor, and the ability to follow strict routines to the letter. While I don’t currently have animals of my own, I channel my lifelong passion into being the trusted, go-to walker and sitter for friends and family. The Benefit of Undivided Attention Since my home is currently pet-free, your dog or cat receives my 100% devotion without any distractions. I have extensive experience with multi-pet households, managing everything from high-energy play sessions for large dogs to the specific, quieter needs of independent cats. Whether it’s maintaining a strict feeding schedule or providing extra cuddles, I treat every pet with the same love and respect I gave my own for years. Services & Personalized Care Focused Dog Walking: Tailored to your dog’s energy level and sensory needs. Drop-In Visits: Ideal for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime. Reliable Communication: I am highly communicative and will send frequent photo updates so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. My Availability I balance my love for animals with my full-time teaching career, which means I have a very consistent and predictable schedule: Mornings: Available Monday & Wednesday mornings for early walks/feedings (before 7 am). Evenings: Available Tuesday nights and Friday afternoons (after 4:00 PM). Weekends: I am fully available every other weekend, from Friday evening after 4 pm through Monday at 7:00 AM. Bonus Holiday & Summer Availability: As a teacher, I have extended flexibility during Spring and Winter breaks, as well as major holidays. I am also very open and available this coming summer for more frequent walks and drop-ins! Possible boarding and house sitting in the summer. Availability Tuesday Evenings: Available after 4:00 PM for walks or drop-ins. Wednesday Mornings: Available for early visits before 7:00 AM. Weekends: Available every other weekend (Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM) for more frequent visits. Note: As a full-time Special Education teacher, I am used to following routines! While my weekly schedule is consistent, I have a lot of flexibility during school holidays and long weekends. My schedule will be wide open for summer break as I will be nannying only two days per week. If you have a specific need outside these hours, please reach out. I’m happy to see if I can make it work! As a Special Education teacher and a mom, patience and reliability are second nature to me. When providing walks or drop-in visits, I focus on giving your pet my full, undivided attention and maintaining the specific routine they need to feel secure. I am extremely detail-oriented. Whether it's following precise feeding instructions or ensuring your home is locked up tight, I pride myself on sending frequent photo updates so you always have peace of mind. My goal is to be the most dependable part of your pet's day while you are away.

About: Hi! I grew up with cats and dogs, and had small animals during college (much to my dorm RA's chagrin LOL) - a hamster, gerbil, snake, and a rat. Currently my daughter and I have four wonderful cats, including an orange female that keeps us on our toes 😁, and a Betta fish. With friends and family, I am surrounded by dogs - from Chihuahua to Greyhound - and I love them all! I often pet sit and walk a variety of pawsome pups 🐾 ❤️. I'm comfortable with any type of pet (feline, canine, reptile, bird, small mammals, etc.) and would be honored to care for yours. Let's face it, pets can be better than people, and they deserve to be treated with the unconditional love they show us!! 😊 I am self-employed, and have ultimate flexibility to care for your pets on your schedule, day or night! I am available for one-off arrangements, when you are traveling, or on-going regular care. I'm especially happy to spend as much time as needed with your fur babies, to ensure they are well-loved and enriched while you are away! In my own home, I can care for caged animals, such as small mammals, reptiles, birds, or fish. They would be kept in a closed room that is off limits to our cats. For your cats and dogs, I happy to come to your home and spend as much time as needed feeding, cleaning, playing, walking, etc. In addition, if the fit is right, I am happy to welcome your dog into my home during the day for doggie daycare.

Sarafina did a great job caring for my cat, Lawrence! He just needed daily drop-in visits and she sent lots of photos. She stopped by beforehand to make sure she knew exactly what he needed and was friendly and knowledgeable! She did an excellent job with my instructions and gave him plenty of playtime while she stopped in. I highly recommend Sarafina for any of your pets needs!

We selected Julie when our normal Rover sitter was no longer available. I don’t have enough good things to say about her. She went above and beyond in every possible way. I felt like our cats were in great hands and I’ll be looking to her the next time we need our boys cared for.

Anastasiia has watched my baby cat Valentina for about 1.5 years, and I cannot trust anyone else as much as her! She follows all instructions, makes me feel at ease while I’m away, and is so kind to my baby. She also does not complain if I ask her for some requests. She willingly and happily treats all her clients amazingly. She also sends food of her cleaning the bowls, videos of playing with my baby, and even takes picture of the litter box because I am an anxious cat mom. She is amazing and I will always go back to her!

Abby is great! She made sure my 2 cats were very comfortable and well taken care of. Every visit was on time and on point. She spent extra time with the shy one gaining her confidence, and getting her to eat when she wanted to hide at first. The way my cats responded to her you can tell she is a true animal lover. I highly recommend her services.

I cannot say enough great things about Emily! This was our first time booking with her and everything was seamless. She came for a meet and greet with our crew about a month ahead, and we communicated a few days before her sitting. Pictures and notes were posted daily. Even when I occasionally didn’t have cell service, no worries. Emily treated our pets like family, which allowed us to relax 😎

As of July 2026, there are 4,504 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Huntingdon Valley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Huntingdon Valley. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
