“A few days before our international trip, we stumbled across the Rover site. It was serendipitous, as was our luck in finding Amber. She was everything we wanted in someone who would be in our home and taking care of our cats. She is professional, organized, smart, hardworking, down to earth, and considerate. When we met for our consultation, we were very impressed with her, as well as very reassured by how receptive she was to our needs and situation. We were gone 16 days, and she kept in daily contact with us, providing updates and photos and videos. She went above and beyond, handling our worries thoughtfully and treating our cats as a as though they were her own. Our cats are indoor/outdoor, and Amber was flexible with her schedule so as to try to be in sync with their patterns, in addition to her other obligations. She offered our cats shelter, food and water, treats and playtime, cuddles and reassurance. And in doing so, she gave us tremendous peace of mind. When our one cat would go exploring for extended periods, Amber was mindful to track her adventures. She even took the initiative to look for her if to much time has passed since T had come home. Amber also checked in with us about the house and property, and made a great impression on my dad and sister (who came by and appreciated her efforts too). We can verify that our cats took to her as well, as we had cameras set up and saw how responsive they were to her! :) One of our biggest challenges taking this trip was what we were going to do about our cats (this was our first time away since we adopted them and we know our situation is a little unusual). Lia was wonderful!! I’ve never used Rover before and I’m grateful she made it an awesome first experience. She initiated a meet and greet before our trip which made it super easy to get her a key and show her through everything she needed to know to watch after the cats. While we were away, she proactively sent lots of pictures and updates which I loved. She also quickly responded to any questions or requests I had. On top of taking great care of the cats, she even watered our plant. I could tell through the pictures just how comfortable the cats were with her which gave me peace of mind while being away. Overall, 10/10 and we are so glad we had Lia looking after Pepper and Periwinkle!!
If I could rate Emma higher than 5 stars, I would. When I tell you she was attentive, comforting, patient, tidy, flexible, loving, communicative, punctual, respectful, and kind, it doesn’t even scratch the surface of how awesome she was while I was away. Emma is so easy to work with and made me feel super at ease leaving my sweet girl with her for an extended period of time. I received tons of pictures every day, which made me so happy. My cat is very shy to new people and she warmed up to Emma so quickly, I could’ve cried. If you need a trustworthy, responsible, and overall wonderful person to care for your pet, I cannot recommend Emma enough!!
Maddie took great care of our 2 cats while we were away, especially our one kitty that requires a daily medication pill. Although the daily pilling was not a favorite activity for our cat, Maddie showed patience and did her best to gain her trust. I felt at ease knowing Maddie works as a Vet Tech and has experience with animals. She made sure to give treats and participate in daily playtime. We will request Maddie again in the future.
Laura did an excellent job caring for our 21-year-old cat and 6-year-old dog during her drop-in visits. She was attentive, thorough, and kept us updated with great communication throughout our time away. It gave us peace of mind knowing our pets were in such good hands. We highly recommend Laura and would absolutely book with her again!
Sarafina did a great job caring for my cat, Lawrence! He just needed daily drop-in visits and she sent lots of photos. She stopped by beforehand to make sure she knew exactly what he needed and was friendly and knowledgeable! She did an excellent job with my instructions and gave him plenty of playtime while she stopped in. I highly recommend Sarafina for any of your pets needs!
I cannot say enough great things about Emily! This was our first time booking with her and everything was seamless. She came for a meet and greet with our crew about a month ahead, and we communicated a few days before her sitting. Pictures and notes were posted daily. Even when I occasionally didn’t have cell service, no worries. Emily treated our pets like family, which allowed us to relax 😎
