I cannot imagine a life without pets, as I have loved and cared for animals my whole life. I started with grooming and caring for the family pets we owned when I was growing up. Neighbors noticed my love for animals and how responsible I was and would ask me to watch their pets occasionally. My information was quickly shared around the neighborhood and I had over 15 families calling on me for their pet-sitting and babysitting needs. I would often house-sit for these families as it was more comfortable for their pets to be at home where they were familiar with their surroundings. I pride myself on putting the comfort of the pets I care for first. I like to stick to whatever routine your pet is used to, as best I can, so they feel at home with me. I also want you to feel comfortable leaving your furry friends in my care so I welcome special care instructions and requests from families. I have several families with specific feeding instructions for their pets that often take longer to prep than cooking for myself, so no request is too much for me! I have had experience with animals of all shapes and sizes including farm animals, reptiles, horses, cats, dogs, rodents, birds, and fish. I provide care for pets of all ages and can give additional care if your pet has any health complications. I have taken care of pets with epilepsy, diabetes, pyotraumatic dermatitis (hot spots), thyroid issues, skin conditions, and keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS). These special pets required additional care such as dietary restrictions, medications (liquid and pill forms), injections, ointments, and eyedrops. I will care for your pets and home like they are my own and I hope you feel comfortable coming to me for any care you may need for your beloved pets.
