I would like to know your pet’s daily routine. Likes and dislikes as well as what comforts them when they are anxious or scared. How is your dog when encountering other dogs on walks? Dog reactive or comfortable? Does your kitty have a favorite hiding spot in the house? I can accommodate their needs. If your dog or cat has special needs, please make me aware as I can help with medication administration (oral/injjections), breathing treatments, baths or regiment My experience includes the special care of senior dogs, doggy hospice and pets with hearing and vision impairment.
A typical day
I understand the importance of a pet’s routine. I can run your dog for exercise in yard and/ or at the local park, play fetch/ a little hide and seek with a blanket and treat incentive. Your dog will enjoy mental stimulation and of course, lots of snuggles and belly rubs too!

Pet care experience
Over 30 years experience taking care of cats, dogs, birds and Guinea pigs. My dog is family, your pets will be well taken care of while you are away from home. Friends, coworkers, family and neighbors have always asked for my help in caring for of their beloved pets, large and small. Let me help you put your mind at ease whether you are at work, on vacation or if your pet simply needs extra time and attention after procedures and/or for medication administration. I genuinely love all animals and would welcome the opportunity to help take care of your pet when you need to trust someone to care, cuddle and comfort. I may also accommodate a last minute need for scheduling a walk to let your dog out to avoid an inside accident.

Heather is the only person we trust to watch our anxious and somewhat difficult cat. She is the only other human he likes besides us, and that is saying a lot! Would recommend 100%.
Heather is great with our anxious (and sometimes difficult) cat. She has a calming presence and helps him through his separation anxiety when we are gone. Her updates are helpful to keep us informed of how he’s doing while we’re away.
Took wonderful care of our two dogs as usual. We are so lucky to have Heather as a reliable dog sitter when we are out of town.
Heather is the carer one dreams about: trustworthy, kind, knowledgeable, meticulous, and offers to do more than expected. I entrusted her with my two senior littles, one of whom has a heart condition and both reactive to other dogs for a first time trip away cared by a non family member. She was wonderful and created a calm, sweet environment for them. And, lastly, Heather is a great communicator in providing periodic updates and photos throughout each day Coda and Poppy were under her care.
