About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes since I can remember. Dog poop, hairballs, slobber…not grossed out, will clean it all. We recently lost our 17-year-old chihuahua, so I have experience caring for a senior pet as well. I’m a freelance creative, working from home with a very flexible schedule. About: Hi! I grew up with cats and dogs, and had small animals during college (much to my dorm RA's chagrin LOL) - a hamster, gerbil, snake, and a rat. Currently my daughter and I have four wonderful cats, including an orange female that keeps us on our toes 😁, and a Betta fish. With friends and family, I am surrounded by dogs - from Chihuahua to Greyhound - and I love them all! I often pet sit and walk a variety of pawsome pups 🐾 ❤️. In my own home, I can care for caged animals, such as small mammals, reptiles, birds, or fish. They would be kept in a closed room that is off limits to our cats. About: Hi, my name’s Matt and I have been taking care of various kinds of animals since I was 12. Fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons, dogs, and cats. You name it we’ve most likely had it. I’ll make sure your animals are loved for and have a blast while you’re gone. I can work with young puppies and senior dogs as well. Please reach out to me to inquire about availability and to set up a meet and greet. I will also send lots of pictures and updates. I currently have availability from Friday to Sunday. I can be available by Friday afternoons if given at least a weeks notice and can stay until Sunday night or early Monday morning. I currently have two cats and a dog. Nani is my dog and she has a fence for the backyard but I can also take her out for walks or out on a leash if needed. I feed her once a day with dry and wet food. I also give her baths and clean up her poop in the yard. The two cats are indoor cats and I play with them, clean their litter boxes, change their water, and feed them.
About: Throughout high school, my family fostered dogs through a local rescue, where we had the opportunity to take in dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve grown up with dogs and around animals and I have always been the go to pet and house sitter for friends and family! About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, primarily cats but dogs and fish as well. Most other animals I put extensive research into the care of when considering owning them, and I would be more than happy to use that knowledge to give your animals the best care possible. “A few days before our international trip, we stumbled across the Rover site. It was serendipitous, as was our luck in finding Amber. She was everything we wanted in someone who would be in our home and taking care of our cats. She is professional, organized, smart, hardworking, down to earth, and considerate. When we met for our consultation, we were very impressed with her, as well as very reassured by how receptive she was to our needs and situation. We were gone 16 days, and she kept in daily contact with us, providing updates and photos and videos. She went above and beyond, handling our worries thoughtfully and treating our cats as a as though they were her own. Our cats are indoor/outdoor, and Amber was flexible with her schedule so as to try to be in sync with their patterns, in addition to her other obligations. She offered our cats shelter, food and water, treats and playtime, cuddles and reassurance. And in doing so, she gave us tremendous peace of mind. When our one cat would go exploring for extended periods, Amber was mindful to track her adventures. She even took the initiative to look for her if to much time has passed since T had come home. Amber also checked in with us about the house and property, and made a great impression on my dad and sister (who came by and appreciated her efforts too). We can verify that our cats took to her as well, as we had cameras set up and saw how responsive they were to her! :) One of our biggest challenges taking this trip was what we were going to do about our cats (this was our first time away since we adopted them and we know our situation is a little unusual). We are so very grateful to have discovered Rover, and we are 100% going to book Amber and to recommend Amber, wholeheartedly, for future plans.”

Lia was wonderful!! I’ve never used Rover before and I’m grateful she made it an awesome first experience. She initiated a meet and greet before our trip which made it super easy to get her a key and show her through everything she needed to know to watch after the cats. While we were away, she proactively sent lots of pictures and updates which I loved. She also quickly responded to any questions or requests I had. On top of taking great care of the cats, she even watered our plant. I could tell through the pictures just how comfortable the cats were with her which gave me peace of mind while being away. Overall, 10/10 and we are so glad we had Lia looking after Pepper and Periwinkle!!
Sarafina did a great job caring for my cat, Lawrence! He just needed daily drop-in visits and she sent lots of photos. She stopped by beforehand to make sure she knew exactly what he needed and was friendly and knowledgeable! She did an excellent job with my instructions and gave him plenty of playtime while she stopped in. I highly recommend Sarafina for any of your pets needs!
My weird cats and I adore Allie. I volunteered at a couple of shelters / rescues and truly have some quirky cats, but Allie acted like they were as normal as they come. She was not fazed by their individual eating preferences, oral meds, and sometimes cranky attitudes. Allie also sent daily updates with photos and I have not felt this at ease traveling in a very long time. I'm sure Allie is excellent with dogs, but if you are looking for someone who is amazing with cats, this is your sitter!
Abby is great! She made sure my 2 cats were very comfortable and well taken care of. Every visit was on time and on point. She spent extra time with the shy one gaining her confidence, and getting her to eat when she wanted to hide at first. The way my cats responded to her you can tell she is a true animal lover.
