We recently lost our 17-year-old chihuahua, so I have experience caring for a senior pet as well. I’m a freelance creative, working from home with a very flexible schedule. About: Hi! I grew up with cats and dogs, and had small animals during college (much to my dorm RA's chagrin LOL) - a hamster, gerbil, snake, and a rat. Currently my daughter and I have four wonderful cats, including an orange female that keeps us on our toes 😁, and a Betta fish. With friends and family, I am surrounded by dogs - from Chihuahua to Greyhound - and I love them all! I often pet sit and walk a variety of pawsome pups 🐾 ❤️. I'm comfortable with any type of pet (feline, canine, reptile, bird, small mammals, etc.) and would be honored to care for yours. Let's face it, pets can be better than people, and they deserve to be treated with the unconditional love they show us!! 😊 I am self-employed, and have ultimate flexibility to care for your pets on your schedule, day or night! Sarafina did a great job caring for my cat, Lawrence! He just needed daily drop-in visits and she sent lots of photos. She stopped by beforehand to make sure she knew exactly what he needed and was friendly and knowledgeable! She did an excellent job with my instructions and gave him plenty of playtime while she stopped in. I highly recommend Sarafina for any of your pets needs!
My weird cats and I adore Allie. I volunteered at a couple of shelters / rescues and truly have some quirky cats, but Allie acted like they were as normal as they come. She was not fazed by their individual eating preferences, oral meds, and sometimes cranky attitudes. Allie also sent daily updates with photos and I have not felt this at ease traveling in a very long time. I'm sure Allie is excellent with dogs, but if you are looking for someone who is amazing with cats, this is your sitter!
Abby is great! She made sure my 2 cats were very comfortable and well taken care of. Every visit was on time and on point. She spent extra time with the shy one gaining her confidence, and getting her to eat when she wanted to hide at first. The way my cats responded to her you can tell she is a true animal lover.
