I like to know ahead of time how your dog is with other dogs, so I can be prepared for barking or pulling of the leash during walks. I do not have any breed preferences; I have cared for pets of all shapes, sizes, and ages. It is also important to know if they need any medicine and to leave your veterinarians phone number in case of an emergency!
A typical day
I enjoy playing fetch with dogs as well as running around outside and playing with them. I am able to give up to 2 short walks a day, as well as 1 long one. I will play with whatever toys your pup loves best, and ask you what they enjoy most so I can ensure they have the best experience possible!

My name is Allie and I am 24 years old. I am currently located in the Wyncote area. I am in the process of completing online courses to get licensed as a vet tech, have experience working in an animal hospital as a veterinary assistant. I have years of experience pet sitting dogs and cats, as well as small household pets. I have four cats of my own! 3 of them live with my dad that I grew up with, and one I adopted a few years ago and lives with me. I worked at Stay and Play Pet Resort, Pet Valu, and Pet Supplies Plus, and Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital. I have a lot of experience and training in caring for many dogs and cats at once. I also have experience with exotic pets and rodents. I have many references to different families that I have provided pet sitting services to over the years as well as completed background checks. I am currently able to provide overnight services, and available to do daily drop in visits/staying multiple hours a day, and walks. I have experience administering medication (both orally and SQ) as well as giving baths. My schedule is very flexible. I also have my own car, so reliable transportation will not be an issue. My weird cats and I adore Allie. I volunteered at a couple of shelters / rescues and truly have some quirky cats, but Allie acted like they were as normal as they come. She was not fazed by their individual eating preferences, oral meds, and sometimes cranky attitudes. Allie also sent daily updates with photos and I have not felt this at ease traveling in a very long time. I'm sure Allie is excellent with dogs, but if you are looking for someone who is amazing with cats, this is your sitter!
Allie was an exceptional dog sitter and took wonderful care of my diabetic dog while house sitting. She was attentive, responsible, and clearly comfortable managing medications and sticking to a strict schedule. I had complete peace of mind knowing my dog and my home were in great hands. I would absolutely trust Allie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring sitter, especially for pets with special medical needs.
