“Marilyn is just great, we are always so calm when she cares for our cat! You know she is going to be on time and really caring with your furry family member. Our absolute go-to pet sitter for every time we are away.”

About: Hello Everyone! I’m Nicole and that cute guy in my photo is my pup Lochly. He’s a corgi mix and he’s awesome! I have been pet sitting for friends and family for the last 20+years. I’m a realtor and a host on Airbnb and make my own schedule so I’m flexible with my hours. I like dogs of all sizes and breeds and ages. Walks, fetch, tug of war, snuggles and belly rubs ... I can do it all. I live just outside of northeast philadelphia but I am on the move a lot for work so I can cover all areas of the city. i really enjoy meeting new people and their pups and I look forward to this new venture. I am a realtor who makes her own schedule. I have lots of flexibility during the week to be able to accommodate your pet’s needs. I’m detail oriented so please leave all the things required to care for your dog, no matter how silly it may be. If your babies are anything like mine they definitely have some quirks that need to be indulged and I am happy to oblige

“Julie was great. I will be using her again. She updated me about my dog each visit. She was the best dog sitter I’ve came across. Happy that I decided to go with her”

“I can't say enough about Christine and her willingness to help and care for my animals. I was so very worried to leave Caesar, my 15 y.o. dog who has hearing and sight issues, at home without me. Christine did her best to make my guys feel comfortable and loved!! My cat, Mahzick feel in love with her .<3 She was very timely each day, with her check-ins, which I noted on the app. and sent me many photos ( which eased my mind) every time she dropped in. My pets looked happy and I know they were!! When I arrived home, I noticed that she left me a "Welcome Back Mommy" note from the pets, on the door. :) She even washed some dishes that I had left in the sink!! SO sweet!! I couldn't be more appreciative of Christine and how she took all of my anxiety away. I had no worries at all. I would definitely have Christine help me again with Caesar and Mahzick. Thank you...Woof & Meow..”

“Jennifer was very helpful and able to help with only a few days notice, which was so appreciated! She spent time playing and making sure my Annabelle was checked in, fed and played with while I was gone. It put my mind at ease knowing Annabelle was in good hands. Jennifer is professional and kind and I would recommend her!”

“Haley was great with our 6 ferrets while we were away. I get to leave them home and go on short trips with peace of mind knowing they are getting the play and care they need.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a cat owner myself and have two wonderful female cats. I’m passionate about providing care. I volunteer at the SPCA and received training in both feline and canine behavior and handling. I regularly attend cat adoption events to help cats find loving homes. A few years ago, my family drove hours to adopt my now 4 year old cat, Francis, after finding her through a Craigslist listing. I’ve also sat pets for family and friends, cats and dogs. I have experience caring for small animals such as hamsters, gerbils, and mice. I use SEPTA and Lyft for transportation, for that reason, I prefer bookings within Philly. My services are available to you and your pet 24/7. My personal routine is very flexible! Your pet comes first and will always be under my supervision during the stay. I am Fear Free® certified and aim for every pet to feel safe and comfortable in my care. I follow any given instructions and keep you updated during the stay with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: Growing up around all types of animals helped me develop my current love for them! I’m an aspiring veterinary student that would love to get more experience :) I currently take care of my own dogs at home, while also have taken care of cats numerous times! I’ve been taking care of animals since I was born, this comes naturally to me. I care for pets like they’re my own, giving them the love and care that I would if it were in my own home. Every animal deserves kindness!
“Antoinette was amazing with my cats! She was great at following the instructions given and communicating with me. She also provided pictures and videos which I greatly appreciated. Will definitely recommend her and will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“After my roommate mistakenly locked the doors, Victoria went above and beyond by climbing through a window in order to feed and take my pup out while I was away on vacation. Taz got along well with her during a meet and he was his typical goofy self in the pictures she sent. Def will be requesting her again!”

About: Hi, I'm Amy! I'm a 27-year-old graduate student with a master's degree in counseling, and I'm excited to provide reliable, compassionate care for your pets. As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I have two corgis that I raised from puppies, giving me hands-on experience with high-energy working breeds, puppy training, and caring for adult dogs. I'm comfortable walking dogs that are reactive, strong pullers, or need a patient, confident handler. I also have experience caring for a variety of small animals, including birds, rats, ferrets, and reptiles. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, playtime, or simply someone dependable to keep them company, I'll treat them with the same care and attention I'd want for my own pets. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered and scaly!) family members. I currently offer weekend-only availability for dog walks and drop-in visits. While my weekday schedule is dedicated to work, I love spending my weekends caring for pets and making sure they get the exercise, attention, and companionship they deserve. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Lexington Park
We highly recommend Mary Rose. We have a senior cat with hyperthyroidism, inflammatory bowel disorder, and asthma, so getting his medication right is extremely important. She handled his care with no problems at all and followed his medical routine with confidence and precision. Our cat is also quite shy with new people, but she was able to build a connection with him. We received plenty of photos showing him enjoying petting and grooming time, which was very reassuring while we were away. She also provided detailed daily reports that truly put our minds at ease. It is clear she has both a deep love for animals and strong knowledge of their care. We would not hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter.
Julie is outstanding. Her innovative ways of handling play and treat time make her particularly adept at gaining our shy cat's trust! She also provides adorable photos. Thanks to Julie, I spend far less time worrying about our cat because I know he's having a good time!

Emily fed and cared for our cat for 7 days straight while we were away. She was very good with communicating and following up. I got a couple pics every visit. She even brought in my mail. She met my cat before our visit and you can tell She is very good with animals. He was immediately purring and loving her. We were very calm and relaxed because we knew our boy was in good hands. We'd 100% have emily watch our cat again.

JJ is trustworthy, reliable, and took excellent care of my two kitties while I was away for almost two weeks. She dropped in every day to ensure they had their daily wet food, scooped their litter, and kept sufficient dry kibble and water available to them. My home was kept neat and clean, and she brought in my mail each day. Most importantly, she is an animal lover herself so my boys had playtime on the sunny enclosed porch - their favorite space - and affection! My experience with JJ was very positive. She is a genuinely nice person and I will definitely use her services again whenever I travel. Thanks, JJ!
Rosabella was great! I received lots of pictures as part of my rover card each time she checked in on my cat, Roscoe. It was clear from the start that Roscoe was comfortable with her (both from our meet and greet prior to her check ins and in the pictures throughout her time with him). I had no doubt that he was well taken care of while I was away, which is major considering I am a worried cat parent and often need reassurance while away from my cat.

We selected Julie when our normal Rover sitter was no longer available. I don’t have enough good things to say about her. She went above and beyond in every possible way. I felt like our cats were in great hands and I’ll be looking to her the next time we need our boys cared for.

Deresha is great! Feel like I got lucky with her being available. She knows her way around dogs of all breeds and can handle any type trouble your dog may give some one. Trusted her more and more as time went on. You won’t regret hiring Deresha to take care of your little ones, she’s great and is even willing to meet you before you need services to make sure she’s a good fit for your mascots. Deresha is the best!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
