“Ronon has spent the day with Sam and her adorable pug, Petunia, twice now. Sam has a nice home and yard and a very chill vibe. Ronon was comfortable with her immediately. Ronon has big feelings and separation anxiety, so I'm very picky about who I leave him with. (Also, he has all the hops and can jump a five foot fence. Sam has a very secure yard.) When I pick him up, he is relaxed and happy! I'm very comfortable leaving Ronon with Sam and will definitely be a repeat client.”

“Douglas and Secylia are Amazing! 🐾 It's like dropping off my pup with family. They’re super friendly and professional. My dog’s face says it all when he sees them! 🥰 And the pics they take? Mind-blowing! 📸 Can’t recommend them enough! ⭐️”

“Maryori was 12/10! Not only did she take in Cooper last minute she was very sweet and accommodating. She kept me updated on Cooper the entire time. You won’t regret keeping your pup with her. This was the first time but it won’t be the last I book with her!”

“Beth was available and flexible when I found myself in a pinch and needing just one day of care for my pup. Her family took good care of my pooch and gave him lots of cuddles, which I know he enjoyed.”

“Gabriela is the best! She went over and beyond to make my son feel comfortable while he enjoyed his stay. Thank you so much for taking care my lil man. I will definitely be rebooking in the near future!”

“Colin was great! Super patient and willing to work with our sweet girls quirks. Lady Bug came home well regulated and well tired out from her day and we look forward to booking with Colin again.”

“What an operation she's got! She had meatball for about 6 hours and WORE. HER. OUT!!!! I can only imaging how much she played and how great a time she had. Meatball and I have more than a little separation anxiety for one another, so I don't like leaving her with just anyone. I will happily run back to Roseanna. Thank you, Roseanna. You made a terrible day, tolerable.”

“Milissa was super responsive and accommodating for our last minute request! Our pup was kept company the entire day with walk and lounge updates provided as well. Very convenient option for anyone in the NE area.”

“Sarah was an amazing sitter! Took great care of our dog. Our buddy had so much fun playing with her dog. Kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and videos. Shared some her food with our boy and super accommodating when we were running late to pick him up. Definitely recommend and gladly have her watch our pup again.”

About: As a reliable and caring dog lover, I believe that pets are family. I have had a house full of pets since I was just 5 years old, and have loved them everyday since. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I prioritize making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. As a nurse, I’m attentive, responsible, and comfortable following detailed care instructions, medication schedules, and special needs. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or a little bit of everything, I’ll provide personalized care tailored to their routine. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member :) I am currently in grad school full time and not working, so I have plenty of time to love your fur babies. My schooling is remote until January, so I will be home all the time aside from errand runs, so I am very able to keep your pup happy and entertained while you’re away!! I have a super friendly golden retriever/ German Shepard mix who loves having friends over - he does extremely well when we watch our friends pups. I am able to crate your dog if needed. I do let my dog on the couch and our bed, but I am happy to set any boundaries with your pup that you request.

“Ronon came home happy and relaxed from daycare at Sean's place, so I know he had a good time. (He has separation anxiety and big feelings, so if he's been stressed or unhappy when we're apart, it's pretty obvious.) Sean has a great, chill vibe and was very attentive to everything I told him about Ronon before his first visit. I will definitely book daycare with Sean again!”

“Iyana was great start to finish! She responded promptly to my initial request and was communicative throughout booking. She and her partner were friendly and polite. We got lots of pics of my dog throughout his stay at their home and he came home happy and healthy! Would definitely use Iyana again!”

“Janelle once again provided excellent care to our dog Poppy and on short notice for a day trip! Poppy is always so happy and upbeat when she returns to us. We can tell she had a great day!”

“Iliana was really sweet and took great care of my pup. When I picked her up I could see how happy she was and that she had a great time playing with Luna. Would book again! Thank you!”

“Luna came home all tuckered out from Danielle and Wade's! I can tell that she had a great time hanging out with Jones all day. I knew Danielle & Wade are dog lovers as soon as we met, and felt very comfortable leaving Luna with them. Great communication and very reliable! We'll definitely be back!”

“Tim came highly recommended, and now I know why! He was so understanding and patient as I navigated having him care for my senior dog, and he was clearly attentive to her. I will be back!”

About: I have been working with dogs for years, starting at a pet kennel and then a vet clinic. I also volunteer for the PSPCA. I work from home Tuesdays and Fridays, and I am available on weekends, so I can take your dog to parks or we can just hang out at home with my pup! My dog Millie is 5 years old and she gets along great with other dogs! Let me know if you have any special requests and I will do my best to accommodate you. I also have a car, so I can go wherever is needed if the dog needs to be dropped off somewhere. I do offer house sitting, walking, boarding, and drop in visits. My hours include nights and occasional weekends. I look forward to meet you and your pet! I work hybrid so I’m available to watch your pet most of the week! I can also do drop-in visits to play with your pup and take them out on walks. I have a yard with lots of toys! I also have a pool in the summer. I can crate your dog if needed but pets are free to roam around the home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lexington Park
We brought Luna over for just a few hours today to help her get comfortable, and Lindsay was wonderful as always. She is so patient, kind, and understanding. Peanut was so excited to see Lindsay and her family again, which made my heart so happy because it shows how loved he feels there. I'm grateful to have found someone I can trust with my babies, and I know these visits are helping Luna adjust. Thank you for taking such great care of them!

Maryori was 12/10! Not only did she take in Cooper last minute she was very sweet and accommodating. She kept me updated on Cooper the entire time. You won’t regret keeping your pup with her. This was the first time but it won’t be the last I book with her!

Hardy and his daughter were absolutely amazing with Ziggy! From the very first moment, they made sure Ziggy felt safe, comfortable, and right at home. Hardy was so communicative — he called me with updates and sent pictures throughout the stay, which gave me total peace of mind. What really stood out is that this was a last-minute request, and Hardy came through without hesitation. Ziggy genuinely enjoyed every moment of his stay. Highly recommend Hardy to any pet parent looking for someone who truly cares!

Lyly is absolutely wonderful, it was Scarlett’s first time away from home at a “doggy daycare”. Lyly was super flexible as my work schedule varies daily. She kept me up to date thru the day including sending pictures. I had to bring Scarlett two days in a row and the second morning Scarlett was thrilled and excited on the ride to Lyly’s.
Jaimi is amazing! She took very good care of my son while he was in her care. Bro she even gave a doggy bag at the end. She has a spacious backyard big enough for my Cane Corso to move freely and comfortably. Quwwa did not want to leave so soon! He loves her.I will definitely be booking with Jaimi every single time. You are awesome and an amazing human. Thank you for taking great care of my son.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Lexington Park commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
