“Amy was reliable and prompt when caring for our cat Finley. She sent pictures to show us that Finley was ok. Amy made sure Finley’s food and water bowl was filled, she tendered to his cat box and gave him many snuggles. I highly recommend Amy and will use her services in the future.”

“Thank you for caring for my cat so well! It was calming to know my pet was in good hands during my absence. I truly valued the updates and the attentive care you gave. Your dependability and warmth made the experience stress-free. I look forward to booking with you again and will gladly recommend you to others.”

About: I enjoy walking daily and I also love long distance running so if you have a dog that would like to run that would be wonderful. I have young kids to pick up and drop off early morning but then I have my day to the animals which is equally fun . I am also available weekends. I am a cat owner and my 3 cats are part of my family. However I can’t have pets at my house because of my cats. I would love to visit your pets at their home. I also have worked in healthcare for 2 decade’s administrating medication. I and able to give injections to pets if needed .

“Brianna was kind enough to accept our very last minute request and came over to meet the cats and get care instructions ahead of time. Very happy to have found a friendly and professional sitter in our new town.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a cat owner myself and have two wonderful female cats. I’m passionate about providing care. I volunteer at the SPCA and received training in both feline and canine behavior and handling. I regularly attend cat adoption events to help cats find loving homes. A few years ago, my family drove hours to adopt my now 4 year old cat, Francis, after finding her through a Craigslist listing. I’ve also sat pets for family and friends, cats and dogs. I have experience caring for small animals such as hamsters, gerbils, and mice. I use SEPTA and Lyft for transportation, for that reason, I prefer bookings within Philly. My services are available to you and your pet 24/7. My personal routine is very flexible! Your pet comes first and will always be under my supervision during the stay. I am Fear Free® certified and aim for every pet to feel safe and comfortable in my care. I follow any given instructions and keep you updated during the stay with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have never lived in a household without a fur baby being present. We've own big and small dogs, a cat, and even a bunny at one point. Being a pet owner is all I've ever known so I am pretty confident in my knowledge of pets and just pet parent intuition. I have recently left my full time job and started my own photography business so my schedule is extremely flexible and open. The only day I am typically unavailable is Sundays. I promise to treat every pet baby as if they were my own. I know that pets are more like family than anything so you/they would have a friend in me.
“Christina dropped in on Benno the cat while we were away on a brief trip. I appreciate Christina's service for many things, here are 3. 1. Flexible: we knew we'd be out of town, we did not know when...until we did. 2. Excellent communication and responsiveness. 3. She is winning Benno over...Have already rebooked!”

“Thank you for everything you have done for your cats over the last year and a half, Julie! We have never been anything but completely satisfied with the gentle and loving care you provide for our cats when we travel. If we were not moving out of state, we would continue to use your services into the future. I highly recommend you and your services!”

“Daniel stuck it out when my dog Nelly gave him a hard time during her check-in! She’s very skeptical of strangers, but he won her over and provided great commentary throughout the process. Hugely appreciated!”

About: Hi! I’m Kaylin, a dog lover with over two years of professional experience as a dog bather. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies who can’t sit still to sweet senior dogs who just want a little extra patience and love. Working in a grooming salon taught me how to safely handle dogs, recognize when they’re feeling nervous, and help them feel comfortable and cared for. One of my favorite parts of the job was getting to know each dog’s unique personality (and handing out lots of belly rubs and compliments along the way!). Whether your pup needs a fun walk, someone to keep them company while you’re away, or plenty of playtime and cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. I know our pets are family, and I’ll care for yours with the same attention and kindness I’d want for my own baby. i also would bathe cats sometimes! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m able to plan my schedule around walks, drop-ins, and visits to make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I’m used to being around animals every day from my experience as a professional dog bather, so caring for pets feels like a normal and rewarding part of my routine. I make sure to give each pet personalized attention, follow their usual schedule, and keep them comfortable while their owners are away. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow any instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special preferences their pet may have. I know that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep things clean, and provide plenty of attention, patience, and care. My two years of experience as a professional dog bather has helped me become comfortable handling dogs with different temperaments and needs, and I bring that same level of care and responsibility to every pet I look after.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Morris. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
