“Trederica was wonderful! Kept me updated with pictures every visit & accommodated all my needs when it came to my fur baby, would absolutely book her again.”

“Stormy is the best! We rebooked with her over the holidays because of how amazing she is! She sends lots of pictures with a detailed summary of what she did with our boys after each stay. Communication is amazing and I knew our boys were in good hands with her! I highly recommend her services and will continuing booking with her in the future!”

“I have booked with Christina twice and she is great! I trust her with my babies. She got my one slow to trust cat to cuddle with her, which is the ultimate sign to me. I will definitely book with her in the future”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10! I’ve always had 3-4 pets at a time so I understand the high/low maintenance, the picky eaters, and the ones that need medical assistance. I personally have dogs that have medical issues and have to make sure their needs are met constantly. I’ve worked on a farm so I have great experience with all types of animals. Neighbors and friends rely on me #1 to walk, play, feed, and take care of their pets. I currently work part time. I will have plenty of time during the day to play, feed, walk your pups! I’m an early bird so if you’re looking for someone early in the mornings, I’m your girl! I will follow whatever your protocol is for your pets! I want them to feel as comfortable as possible with me. I look forward to meeting all of your furry friends!

“Shelby took great care of our cats while we were away. We felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands and she carefully fulfilled all our requests. Thanks so much, Shelby!”

“This was our family’s first time using Rover for our two senior cats, Carson and McGee. Courtney B was very reassuring and on the meet & greet, the cats took to her right away. We were gone for a long weekend and Courtney reported back with each visit with pictures and how they seemed to be doing. All was peaceful and happy upon our return! Thank you, Courtney, for giving us peace of mind and making the kitties happy boys!”

About: I have cared for, fostered and rehomed many furry friends over the past 9 years. I have experience with kittens, puppies as well as adult dogs and cats. I give lots of pats, scratches and cuddles (if they are so inclined). I enjoy fetch, Lazer tag and long walks just as much as your fur baby does. I currently work part time and I create my own schedule. When I'm taking care of your family member they'll have my full undevided attention. I'm not currently available on the weekends. I respect your space. When i am visiting your home, you can relax knowing I'm going to provide the best care for your darling baby.
About: Hello! My name is Nija; I am a pet owner and lover of over 20 years. Majority of my career experience is in customer service but I am more than ready to service your furry pals throughout the day. I have decades of experience with dogs, my first fur baby Brownie passed away last October from old age, she was with my family for 16 years. We have since welcomed an energetic and lovable labradoodle named Charlie into our home since we had so much love left to give. I've spent years with cats and dogs alike and occasionally volunteer at my local ASPCA. I am caring, patient, customer oriented small business woman and I can't wait to meet you and your pet. I will care for and love your pet as my own as well as provide excellent customer service along the way. I look forward to speaking with you soon! I’m currently working as a freelancer so I have flexible availability to take care of your pets! With notice, I am also available on weekends I have a fenced back yard and a friendly dog who will be happy to keep your pet company in my care. Also willing to crate if necessary.
“Danielle is super friendly and professional. Every time she visited, she made sure to send photos and provided verbal updates. She is also very informative and she provided great instructions for us to drop off our keys and understand how the drop in visit worked. I would definitely reached out to her if I need help again”

About: I’ve always been good with dogs. I watch the dogs for my family and friends. I can train if you would like, but I take very good care of the dogs and make sure that they have everything they need. I have just finished college. I am free most of the time and looking to help with any of your pets needs. My schedule will fit around the pet care. I take them for walks around the neighborhood and or to the dog park. I can put them in a crate if needed but most likely won’t be needed. They have space to roam around the house and if they are dog friendly, I have others dog that they can mingle with.
“Amazing. I feel less stressed booking future trips knowing I can count on Kaliah to take thoughtful care of my very anxious cats. Both cats took to her right away and that is not usual for either of them. She did a wonderful job. I’m so grateful!”

Alexys is an amazing pet sitter. She took excellent care of my cats for the week I was away. She really went above and beyond looking for my scared cat Ricky when he was hiding under the bed to make sure he was ok. She kept me updated twice a day with summaries and photos so that I could rest assured that my furbabies were well taken care of!!! I highly recommend Alexys for you pet care needs.

Nikki was very responsive and took the time to come by for a meet-and-greet before the service began. She did a wonderful job caring for our two cats while we were away, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. We would absolutely book with her again in the future.

Christina is so sweet. I made the best decision ever when I booked her to drop in and feed my crew on the afternoon of my surgery. It was a huge weight off my mind knowing I didn't have to worry about my kitties being cared for while I was still on an anesthesia stupor! Looking forward to booking her again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Fern Rock. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
