About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10! I’ve always had 3-4 pets at a time so I understand the high/low maintenance, the picky eaters, and the ones that need medical assistance. I personally have dogs that have medical issues and have to make sure their needs are met constantly. I’ve worked on a farm so I have great experience with all types of animals. Neighbors and friends rely on me #1 to walk, play, feed, and take care of their pets. I currently work part time. I will have plenty of time during the day to play, feed, walk your pups! I’m an early bird so if you’re looking for someone early in the mornings, I’m your girl! I will follow whatever your protocol is for your pets! I want them to feel as comfortable as possible with me. I look forward to meeting all of your furry friends!
“Lucy was very attentive to my cat, Colby, and kept me well informed with pictures which showed all her arrival times as well as a happy cat. I will definitely ask her to cat-sit again!”

“Rebecca was AMAZING taking care of my cats Ben and Jerry while I was on vacation. So grateful to have peace of mind while I was away that she was looking after them. She provided photos and updates in a timely manner and was great to work with. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!!”

“Can't say enough good things about Julia. She looked in on our two cats while we were away for 10 days. She was friendly and asked the right questions at the meet & greet. Most importantly, our kitties were happy and healthy when we arrived home. We have a sensitive, anxious cat that she took the time to try to coax out of her shell during her visits. Our other cat fell for her immediately. We would not hesitate to use Julia again next time we go away. :)”

“Maverick had a great time with Casey! She was very communicative and shared photos every time she visited. She even was kind enough to bring in packages that had been delivered. Highly recommend Casey and we have already booked her for another upcoming trip!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals for all my life - big and small, young and old. I will treat your animals like my own with lots of pets and snuggles. I’m a medical student working in the area so nights and weekends work best for me. Early mornings can work depending on my schedule. I have a car and can walk depending on distance. I appreciate your flexibility! I have one cat of my own and live in an apartment. I have experience with dogs and crating them. Nothing is off limits with me.
About: What sets me apart is my calm, patient, and attentive approach to pet care. I focus on creating a safe, stress-free environment for pets while following their routines closely. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including puppies who need consistency and training reinforcement as well as senior pets who require gentler care, patience, and extra attention. I also make sure pet owners feel connected by providing regular updates, photos, and clear communication throughout each visit. I currently have a flexible schedule and am fully available during the summer, which allows me to provide reliable and consistent pet care throughout the week. I am able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and I am happy to work around your pet’s routine. I treat every pet like family and prioritize communication, providing regular updates, photos, and messages so you always feel connected and confident in their care. I provide pet care exclusively through walks and drop-in visits, allowing pets to remain comfortable in their own home and familiar environment. During each visit, I follow all instructions closely, including feeding, refreshing water, litter box care (for cats), and any specific routines or medications. For dog walks, I prioritize safety at all times by using secure leashing, paying close attention to surroundings, and making sure your pet gets appropriate exercise based on their energy level and needs. For drop-in visits, I focus on providing attentive care, companionship, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine while you’re away. I treat every home with respect, ensuring it is left clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. I also provide consistent updates with photos and messages so you always feel informed and connected to your pet. My goal is to give your pet reliable, safe, and stress-free care while giving you complete peace of mind.
“Amanda took care of our three cats while we were away. She kept us in the know of what was going on at home. Leaving parts of your family is stressful but having Amanda check in on them made our travel stress free! Thank you Amanda!”

About: UPDATE: June 21, 2026. Due to an emergency appendectomy surgery, I am only accepting requests starting in the fall- September. Hello! I am a smart, honest, caring, thorough and responsible 40 year old woman who absolutely LOVES dogs and cats. I am originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico and have a BFA in modern dance from CalArts. I now have my own cat, my lovey Totoro. I grew up with pets, and took care of my family friend’s cats in Philadelphia for six years. I also took care of my prior roommates cats. I currently dog, cat, and house sit consistently for two clients and I’m looking for more! Because I have my own cat, I only animal/house sit near my home- Mt.Airy, Germantown, East Falls, Wyndmoor, Chestnut Hill, Lafayette Hill, Glenside, etcetera. My teaching schedule is flexible so I can usually arrange my schedule to fit the clients’ pets needs. I am extremely affectionate. You can rely on me to not only take care of your dog and cat in the standard ways like giving them food, water, and walks, but to really give them the love and attention that they need while you are away. I am also confident that if a situation arose where your animal needed care by a veterinarian that I could handle the situation effectively, efficiently, and safely. My overnight fee also includes basic home care like mail and package collection, watering plants, and any other house hold needs. All of your house sitting and pet sitting needs can be accomplished with one person. Me! :) Plus, your animals will feel more at ease with a loving human in the home. I have my own cat, so I can't board others pets, but I think it's more comfortable a lot of the time for pets to be in their familiar spaces, and am comfortable staying in and caring for people's homes. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I hope to hear from you and meet you and your beloved pet soon. Take care. Thank you for reading and considering me as your kind, reliable, loving sitter! Be well! References available upon request. Darcy Why I love dog sitting I have loved cats and dogs since I can remember! I grew up with them. My parents had a Great Dance prior to my birth, and my brother had a dog when I was a toddler. I grew up with a Bouvier, a large black sheep herding dog and many cats. She even had puppies who I helped care for until they were adopted. I was gifted a very sweet dog that was my own and helped me learn responsibility in 7th grade. My parents currently live in New Mexico and have a lovely Portuguese Water Dog, who I love dearly. Every time I see a dog on the street being walked, I want to hug it and play with it! I have always loved and had a deep appreciation for animals and their roles in humans lives. :) Dogs and cats are truly wonderful creatures! It is also important to note that I have never been afraid of large or barking dogs unless they are particularly vicious (which are far and few between). Eventually I would love to own a dog, but cannot right now, and love to love and care for other people's pets. I have administered oral medication to dogs and cats. I am willing to administer injections and other kinds of medicines. It is crucial that I get an in person, hands on demo/lesson with owner prior to their leaving town, so I know I’m doing it correctly.
About: I’ve had all kinds of animals since I was a small child. We started off with cats, eventually owned dogs. I also have experience with birds, ferrets, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I even held a tarantula once! As an adult, I’ve also had cats, and dogs, and have experience house breaking puppies, and caring for new mama cats and their kittens. I feel animals are usually very drawn to me. I have years of providing comfort, engagement, nourishment, and administering medication for different animals. As a pre-teen, I once had a very sick cat that almost died, and I slowly brought her back to health. This, in turn, created an unbreakable bond between us. At the moment I’m currently going to school part time and taking a few classes, so my schedule is open, and I’m very flexible. Just let me know what your needs are. I don’t have a yard due to living in an apartment, but I have plenty of space in my home. I feel that trust, consistency, and patience and lots of love are top priority when your fur baby is with me.

“Tatiana was amazing taking care of my 2 cats. They warmed up to her very quickly-even my one that is skittish. She gave them love and made sure they were played with. She was always prompt and filled the rover reports with photos and updates! Would definitely recommend her and use again.”

About: Hello! I've been dogsitting since I was in college and have a wide range of experiences. From taking care of a single small senior dog to four active working breeds, I'm ready to love your furry friends! I'm currently going back to school to hopefully one day become a veterinarian. I am working towards going to vet school, so while I'm busy with coursework, I have lots of flexibility and can be there for your pets anytime they need. Colleen was amazing! She is the definition of going above and beyond. Blu had an amazing time playing and site seeing. Colleen even cleaned Blu’s bowls out when she was done which was very appreciative. 10/10 sitter, we can’t wait to request her services again!

10/10 super star sitter!! Not only was she very accessible via text or call but she also provided tons of pictures and video updates. We even had to book twice last minute and she accommodated us both times!! Even went as far as rescheduling a hair appointment! Once again 10/10 definitely will book again!!

Lisbet watched my dog while I was away for the weekend, and she was AMAZING! From our first meetup, I could tell she was great because she was showing so much interest in getting to know my dog and asking all the right questions! She followed everything I told her, got there on time every day, and kept me updated throughout the day. She also took the cutest pictures of my dog and very clearly cared about him! Will definitely book again!!

Ryan is absolutely the best drop in dog sitter I have ever hired. He was fantastic with my two dogs! I would absolutely recommend Ryan for anyone looking for a pet sitter/ dog walker. I will definitely be booking Ryan again when I go away. Ryan made sure to come over before to meet and greet my dogs and learn the lay of the land. My dogs were so happy to meet him and will be happy to see him again!
Juanita does such a great job with my puppy! She takes great care with her walks & drop-ins, is always on time & does a great job with Willow while I'm at work!! I highly recommend utilising Juanita's services & Willow looks forward to spending more time with her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
