About: UPDATE: I am back to sitting September 2026. Primarily looking for overnight animal sitting or drop ins and walks, but not ongoing weekly walks. I’m not available Thanksgiving week or Christmas/New Years 2026. Thank you! Dates NOT Available: 9/8-9/13 9/17-9/20 9/23-10/1 10/8-10/11 (Columbus Day weekend) 11/22-11/29 Thanksgiving week 12/21-1/2 Christmas and New Year’s Please check calendar. Hello! I am a smart, honest, caring, thorough and responsible 40 year old woman who absolutely LOVES dogs and cats. I am originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico and have a BFA in modern dance from CalArts. I now have my own cat, my lovey Totoro. I grew up with pets, and took care of my family friend’s cats in Philadelphia for six years. I also took care of my prior roommates cats. I currently dog, cat, and house sit consistently for two clients and I’m looking for more! Because I have my own cat, I only animal/house sit near my home- Mt.Airy, Germantown, East Falls, Wyndmoor, Chestnut Hill, Lafayette Hill, Glenside, etcetera. My teaching schedule is flexible so I can usually arrange my schedule to fit the clients’ pets needs. I am extremely affectionate. You can rely on me to not only take care of your dog and cat in the standard ways like giving them food, water, and walks, but to really give them the love and attention that they need while you are away. I am also confident that if a situation arose where your animal needed care by a veterinarian that I could handle the situation effectively, efficiently, and safely. My overnight fee also includes basic home care like mail and package collection, watering plants, and any other house hold needs. All of your house sitting and pet sitting needs can be accomplished with one person. Me! :) Plus, your animals will feel more at ease with a loving human in the home. I have my own cat, so I can't board others pets, but I think it's more comfortable a lot of the time for pets to be in their familiar spaces, and am comfortable staying in and caring for people's homes. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I hope to hear from you and meet you and your beloved pet soon. Take care. Thank you for reading and considering me as your kind, reliable, loving sitter! Be well! References available upon request. Darcy Why I love dog sitting I have loved cats and dogs since I can remember! I grew up with them. My parents had a Great Dance prior to my birth, and my brother had a dog when I was a toddler. I grew up with a Bouvier, a large black sheep herding dog and many cats. She even had puppies who I helped care for until they were adopted. I was gifted a very sweet dog that was my own and helped me learn responsibility in 7th grade. My parents currently live in New Mexico and have a lovely Portuguese Water Dog, who I love dearly. Every time I see a dog on the street being walked, I want to hug it and play with it! I have always loved and had a deep appreciation for animals and their roles in humans lives. :) Dogs and cats are truly wonderful creatures! It is also important to note that I have never been afraid of large or barking dogs unless they are particularly vicious (which are far and few between). Eventually I would love to own a dog, but cannot right now, and love to love and care for other people's pets. I have administered oral medication to dogs and cats. I am willing to administer injections and other kinds of medicines. It is crucial that I get an in person, hands on demo/lesson with owner prior to their leaving town, so I know I’m doing it correctly.

About: I've been taking care of neighbor's cats and dogs since childhood, including overnight house sitting. I've had cats for most my life and have worked with big and small dogs, young and old, including dogs that need a lot of exercise. I have experience taking care of other domestic mammals like rabbits, chinchillas, rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and hedgehogs, as well as exotic birds and reptiles. I'm a big animal over; I majored and worked in wildlife conservation, and am passionate about domestic and wild animals. I work freelance, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I am able to stay home a lot and be with the pets. I have a car to get to people's homes easily for daytime checkins/walks. Depends on the client's specific needs but usually for housesitting I stay at the house and am home often, so I'm able to give the pets attention and care, and let them out for bathroom breaks and walks regularly as needed. I can do basic household stuff like take out trash, clean up after pets, water plants, whatever is needed.

“Trederica was wonderful! Kept me updated with pictures every visit & accommodated all my needs when it came to my fur baby, would absolutely book her again.”

“Julia provided excellent care for my two cats with twice daily visits. I always feel at ease having her care for my senior cat who needs medication. Julia provides care for my cats several times per year - reliable and punctual with excellent communication!”
“Allyson is a great pet sitter! She is easy to communicate with and sent many pictures and detailed updates about Olivier while I was away. She even watered my plants for me 🙏💕 thank you Allyson. I can recommend her for any of your pet sitting needs!”

“Christina was amazing! We’d hire her again or recommend to anyone. She was very diligent and thoughtful in her updates after each visit which was much appreciated. She also came by before we left town to meet the cats and do a walk-thru of their routine. Overall great experience while we were away!”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 10 years of experience walking dogs and caring for pets throughout Philadelphia. I genuinely love spending time with animals, making sure every pet in my care feels safe, comfortable, and loved! I have experience caring for elderly pets who need medication and extra attention, as well as pets with severe separation anxiety. I’m patient and attentive, and I take the time to help anxious pets feel secure and cared for while their people are away. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or a full day of care, I love playing, cuddling, walking, and getting to know each pet’s personality. My goal is for your pet to feel genuinely loved and cared for every time we’re together! I’m currently working part time and am typically flexible. I am often available for daily walks, brief check ins, overnight stays, and extended stays. I like to stick to each pet’s usual routine, whether that means long or short walks, outdoor playtime, or simply cuddling and keeping them company at home.
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for most of my life. I got my first dog around age 11 and have had multiple dogs over the years, along with a ferret, hamster, and fish. I’ve also helped care for family members’ dogs and cats whenever they needed someone they could trust. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m patient, attentive, and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. Animals have always been a big part of my life and continue to be. I truly enjoy being around them and caring for them, and I always joke that one day I’m going to end up with my own little farm because I want every animal I see! I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. I’m able to take breaks for walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, or whatever a pet may need. My daily routine is pretty laid back, so I have the time and flexibility to give pets plenty of attention and care. I’ll be caring for pets in their own homes, where they’re already comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I would always talk with the pet parent beforehand about their normal routine, what they’re allowed or not allowed to do, feeding instructions, walks, and any other specific needs. I’m big on following the owner’s instructions, keeping their pet safe and comfortable, and being respectful of their home and belongings.

The environment I will provide is in the vacentity of my home. I have a large field for them to run and get great exercise. Also, interactions with other dogs to enjoy the company of each other. Finally to be a dog and be loved.
About: As an experienced dog owner and longtime shelter volunteer, I genuinely love working with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I get super excited about active outdoor time like hiking, but what I enjoy most is giving dogs real mental stimulation through training while they're with me. Whether it's helping a puppy master basic manners, keeping an adult dog sharp, or just teaching fun new tricks, keeping their brains busy is the secret to a happy, well-behaved pet. I'd love to help your pup burn off energy, learn a few things, and come home totally tired and content! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, so there is always someone at home to provide supervision, companionship, and care. My flexible schedule allows me to take dogs out for walks, potty breaks, playtime, or attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. Because I am home regularly, I can also adapt to each dog’s needs, whether they prefer a consistent routine, extra exercise, medication schedules, or more frequent bathroom breaks. My goal is to make sure every dog feels comfortable, cared for, and part of a calm, reliable environment. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where dogs can feel at home. I live in a 1200 sq ft apartment with a dog park downstairs, which is great for walks, potty breaks, and exercise. I have 1 dog and no children, my dog is very friendly with all dogs. I understand every dog and household has different routines, rules, and comfort levels, so I always do my best to accommodate each client’s needs. I am flexible with crate use, furniture rules, feeding schedules, exercise preferences, and any special instructions you provide. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on safety, consistency, and making sure your dog feels secure, happy, and well cared for.

Amazing dog sitter. She went above and beyond for my two dogs. She provided walks and love to both of them while I was away. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and their health. She was so caring and took time to help my bernadoodle with his ear infection. 10/10 highly recommended!!

Ally was the perfect sitter for our anxious dog. She gave him lots of attention and love so he relaxed and had a great time. I was nervous because we hadn’t used Rover before, but this was a great experience and will definitely use it again (with Ally of course!).

10/10 super star sitter!! Not only was she very accessible via text or call but she also provided tons of pictures and video updates. We even had to book twice last minute and she accommodated us both times!! Even went as far as rescheduling a hair appointment! Once again 10/10 definitely will book again!!

Lisbet watched my dog while I was away for the weekend, and she was AMAZING! From our first meetup, I could tell she was great because she was showing so much interest in getting to know my dog and asking all the right questions! She followed everything I told her, got there on time every day, and kept me updated throughout the day. She also took the cutest pictures of my dog and very clearly cared about him! Will definitely book again!!
