A typical day
A day can consist of anything your pet loves to do and usually does when you are home. If they love the run around the yard or play fetch, that's what we'll do. I can match your pets energy and be flexible to what they need.

I've had many different types of animals as pets my whole life. One of my first jobs was working at a doggie day care and kennel. I worked with a broad range of dogs. I got to work with their trainer and groomer. I bathed the dogs often to prepare them for the groomer. I cared for the dogs in the kennel and worked the day shifts at the day care. Then I moved to South Korea and worked at a cat shelter there for about a year. I cared for the cats there as well as worked with potential adopters. We had many types of cats. I fostered some of the elderly and special needs cats. I gave the cats their medication and worked with the more aggressive cats to get them socialized. I also have experience with bottle baby kittens. I fostered two separate litters. I am comfortable with all types of cats, from kittens to elderly cats. I have a turtle and grew up with a pet newt and guinea pigs, so I don't discriminate when it comes to pet care. I love many different types of animals.

Once again, Shelby has gone above and beyond to provide top-notch cat care to our little buddy, Mr. Wiz. She is responsible, a great communicator, and obviously shows genuine care and love. I highly recommended Shelby and will be requesting her services again in the future!
Shelby took great care of our three cats, ranging from extremely timid to very social. She made sure each one was well attended to and left our litter area tidy. She was also punctual, communicative, and consistent. She sent us great photos and thoughtful messages throughout our time away. We’ll absolutely reach out to Shelby again to rebook next time we are planning to be out of town.
