“Sarah was amazing. She is helpful, kind, and creative. My newly adopted dog is struggling with separation anxiety; knowing I could trust Sarah to keep him engaged and happy while I was out of the house was such a relief.”

“Caitlin was great, came home to a happy dog. Relieved updates on how Freya was doing throughout the week and took her on adventures to the park. Would definitely recommend.”

“Amelia took great care of our pup while we were out of town. She also watered our plants and brought in the mail which was super helpful. She sent photos every day too.”

“Kristen was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! She was reliable, kind, and really took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable. She came over several times before our trip to meet the dogs, learn their routine, and get to know their personalities, which gave us so much peace of mind. We have four dogs, so caring for them is no small task, and Kristen handled everything so well. She kept us updated while we were away and was very attentive to their needs. Most importantly, when we came home, the dogs were calm, happy, and clearly well cared for!”

“Ryan did an amazing job while house and pet sitting for us for a long weekend. He treated both our animals and home with the utmost care and was communicative with us throughout. Thanks, Ryan!”

“Nikki took phenomenal care of our dog as always! We have a great time away knowing that she’s here taking care of him. Our travel plans were a bit delayed coming home and Nikki was flexible in making sure he was all set till we got back. We look forward to the next time she comes to stay.”

“Saint loved her as soon as he met her, which was a great sign! She was so caring, followed all of our instructions, and kept us updated with pictures. We really appreciated how great she was with him and would definitely recommend her! 🐾❤️”

“Super chill guy, William was easy for my nervous girl to adapt to. He’s great with her and goes the extra mile with little things that matter. Thank you, Bill.”

“Shannon was very sweet and my dogs took to her right away. She has a sincere love for dogs & came prepared w treats & toys incase we didn’t (since we were staying in a hotel). Her responses to my messages were very prompt and she kept up informed w pix & details of her time with our pups. This was the first time we used rover.com, so we were a bit nervous, but after this experience we will not hesitate to hire again. And… we fully recommend Shannon! ??”

“Rae was amazing! We had a some stuff change and she was great! Our dog Chase loved her and her daughter!! Rae sent a bunch of pics of Chase who looked super happy!! She even watered my flowers which I was so grateful for!! Esp bc she found some still in pots I forgot to plant! Def give her a 5 star!! And use her again!”

“Yoel was fantastic with our dog and cat over the holidays! Our dog warms to women much faster than men but LOVED Yoel. We had a minor baby disaster and had to change our dates on Yoel at the last minute, and he was extremely accommodating. His communication is top notch and really eased our minds. We also had a problem with our gate refusing to open, and Yoel was a VERY GOOD SPORT about having to climb the fence, which we are still embarrassed about! #yikes Enthusiastic 5 stars for Yoel!!!”

“I truly can’t recommend her enough! She stepped in at the last minute when I needed a sitter for a girls’ weekend, and from the second she met my dog, Aspen, I knew I had found the right person. Aspen instantly felt comfortable with her, and it was obvious the feeling was mutual. Watching him warm up to her so quickly put my mind at ease. As a first time dog mom, leaving Aspen with someone in my home for the very first time was incredibly nerve-racking. She completely exceeded my expectations. She kept me updated throughout the entire stay with lots of messages and pictures, which helped me relax and actually enjoy my trip. She even took Aspen out for a pup cup, and that small gesture meant so much because it showed how much she genuinely cared for him. When I came home, Aspen was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. She treated him like family, and that’s all any pet parent could ask for. If you’re looking for someone who is kind, dependable, communicative, and will love your pet as if they’re her own, look no further. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again. Thank you for making Aspen’s first sitting experience—and mine—such an amazing one!”

“As always Jasmine did a great job watching my cat for several days while I was on vacation. I never worry about him because she is so loving and great with him. He absolutely loves her. Thanks again Jasmine for watching my fur baby.”

“Naomi was extremely patient, attentive, and caring with my dog, cat, and 4 foster kittens. She was flexible when I had to last minute add the kittens to the mix, and handled my dog's nerves on the fourth of July. Plus, she left my home very clean and neat. I highly recommend her!”

“Anthony took great care of our pup. He was super punctual and understanding of our schedule. He made sure she was fed, properly cared for, and happy. He sent updates. Would definitely rebook.”

“Alexys took such good care of our cats and dog! She's caring, pays attention to the details, and left our house in perfect condition. We're definitely booking her right now for our next trip.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wyndmoor
Erin was incredible and I’ll definitely be recommending her for other friends that are visiting NYC! She was incredibly communicative, very friendly and I felt very comfortable leaving our dog Sedona in such great hands! We got lots of photo updates, and to top it off she was able to give us recommendations on where to go out in the city! This was my first time using Rover, and Erin was very patient with me navigating the app and how the whole process works! Thank you for such a great experience ☺️

Caitlin is kind, loving, and patient with our feisty dog. She took the time to get to know his personality, which we greatly appreciate. She's very professional, communicates well and gave us helpful updates. She left our home clean, and us worry free while we were away.

Kristen was absolutely wonderful with our dogs! Most importantly, when we came home, the dogs were calm, happy, and clearly well cared for!

We were so very happy with Natalie! She clearly provided our dogs with exceptional care based on all the pics and updates I got, and she even got our nervous dog to eat all her meals, which she frequently wont do when we leave her with dog sitters. We had a busy vacation planned and I was so pleased that I didnt have to worry at all about our pups the entire time!

Using Lauren to pet sit is seamless. She moves in and takes care of our dog like she is her own. Our 10 year old dog doesn't even know we have left. She also takes care of the little things around the house so we can vacation without a worry. Highly recommend her if you need a pet sitter.

Faith is a fantastic dog sitter! She was incredibly sweet and communicative, keeping us updated throughout our trip. She kept the house tidied and cleaned, which was a good feeling coming home too. Most importantly, our pups were happy and extremely well cared for. I highly recommend her and hope to use her dog sitting services again soon! Thanks, Faith! :)

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 5,585 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wyndmoor. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wyndmoor walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wyndmoor maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wyndmoor choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wyndmoor. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
