About Trevor M.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
When I meet an animal for the first time, my priority is gaining their trust. I spend time casually observing so I can take note of their personality and physical forms of communication, but I don’t get too close or move too quickly until I’ve given the animal a chance to take me in as well. Once trust is established, we can move on to wearing leashes and harness, medication routines, playing, etc.
Information Trevor M. would like to know about your pet
The better you know your pet, the better I can care for them in your absence! I like to know about daily routines, favorite treats and toys, best spots to chill in the house, preferred dog parks and walking locations, quirky behaviors, anything you can think of that will help me provide the best care to your critter.
A typical day
I like to give animals appropriate enrichment, which often involves introducing new smells, playing videos with new sounds, getting the animal to play, or showing it new places around the house they may have never noticed before. When walking, I take 2 or 3 different routes to keep things fresh while keeping the animal comfortable with familiar surroundings.

Experienced friendly caregiver
Pet care experience
I have worked with all kinds of animals throughout my life, learning to train cats and dogs on my own. I’m also familiar with exotic pets such as pythons and bearded dragons. I can comfortably administer different kinds of medications to most animals, including oral liquids and pills, sub-Q and IM injections, and topicals.
Cat care experience

Trevor also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Trevor is reliable and always takes great care of my crew. I have a special needs dog and cat and I have full confidence with him watching them. He communicates clearly and makes sure they eat and take their meds consistently.
Trevor is wonderful! He has taken care of our pets for a couple of years. He is very calm, kind, reliable, and great at communicating. He has plenty of experience with pets with health or behavior issues. I never worry about our dog and cat when they're with Trevor. I know they'll get plenty of love, attention, and playtime!
Always takes great care of my cats and dog! Provides enrichment, entertainment, nourishment, and tons of love. Also sends plenty of photos and updates. I love knowing my pets are in good hands.
Trevor is the best with all of my family's animals! They love to see him at the door because they know they'll get the best care and attention. I highly recommend Trevor!
