Cat Sitting Petaluma

About: I have always been good at training dogs, I have a 9 year old dog of my own and I love taking him on walks. I am currently in school locally at the SRJC, I am in school at both the Petaluma and Santa Rosa campus. I am a full time student and I also do volunteer work with Forgotten Felines and Forget Me Not Farm. Since I don’t have a job, this makes me the ideal candidate to work with your lovely sidekicks with no distraction! Working with animals is my dream, I want to be a neuro-vet, this is how I can work closely with animals in my current stage. My school hours are between 9AM-4PM M + W, and 9-11 Tues + Thurs, I will be in school during these times and return immediately to assist with your pet(s) afterward! I usually have an hour - hour and a half gap in between classes, if I need to stop by for a few minutes during that period I’m sure we will work it out. I love making sure that animals are comfortable, I will ensure house rules are in place, and I am excellent in dog training. I love to spend time with the animals even when not required.

About: I have cared for animals my whole life! I currently have one cat but have had dogs cats, and turtles. I am very attentive. I try to communicate with each animal on their level. It's important to me that they feel heard. Whether they're trying to show me something that interests them, or worries them. I am always watching and listening. I work part-time right now, so I have a lot of time during the week to care for your pets. We will just need to find a time that suits both out needs. Firstly, I will follow any specialized directions you give me. You know your pets better than anyone! Secondly, I've cared for pets pretty much my entire life and their safety is my #1 priority. I know how to keep an eye on them- even the mischievous ones haha!

About: I'm retired, and thus very flexible. I'm quite reliable and dependable. My girlfriend and I live in a historic house near downtown Petaluma. I go for a nice long walk/run most days, and would love to have your dog keep me company! For overnight stays, my girlfriend would need to be able to stay with me, so your pet(s) will get twice the attention and twice the love! I've had cats or dogs throughout most of my life, and love both. I'm mostly retired, so I'm very flexible about scheduling. Ideally my assignments are in the morning or evening, leaving the middle of the day free for kayaking, bicycling, playing music, or just relaxing. Obviously, it's a lot of trust to put in a stranger from the internet to come into your house while you're gone. Whether it's talking on the phone, meeting in person, being Facebook friends, I'll do my best to help you know I'm not a scammer or a robber.
