“Sigrid was great! She came first for a meet and great to meet Ozzy and make sure he would be comfortable with her. Then when she came for the drop in visit, after feeding Ozzy she spent extra time with him —playing fetch and walking with him until he was worn out. She kept us updated with photos and videos during the visit and it was clear that Ozzy was having a great time with her. We are grateful that Sigrid took extra time to get to know Ozzy and make sure he was at ease with her — that’s not always easy for Ozzy, as he was mistreated in his former life. Sigrid is clearly a true dog lover, and I highly recommend her. Your pup will be in good, capable and loving hands with Sigrid!”

About: I have had animals of all kinds in my home since I can remember. I grew up believing I would become a vet; I instead pivoted into neuroscience, but my love of animals still remains! I grew up with a German shepard -Rottweiler mix which has given me a soft-spot for large breed dogs, but I love everything with four legs! I have been volunteering at animal shelters as a dog walker and foster home since I was 12 years old, giving me experience with a range of animal's temperments and needs. I am experienced with reactive dogs and shy dogs, and am happy to cater my skills to your animal's needs. Note: I am also a runner and would be happy to take your dog for a run if they are well-behaved on a leash. I am currently between jobs, so I am happy to cater to your schedule. Open to becoming your weekly dog walker, or go-to house-sitter. Feel free to reach out about scheduling details! I am an incredibly calm person and I hope to carry that with me in my pet care. If welcomed into your home I will be nothing but grateful, and will follow any house rules you set.
“Savannah is a dream! So professional and kind, an excellent communicator and a quick problem solver. Savannah cared for our chickens for nearly three full weeks and watched over the house and plants. She provided regular updates, was intuitive to care for the girls in the hot weather and allowed my time away to feel so much more at ease. I was so thrilled to return with thriving plants, and happy, calm chickens. Will definitely look to book with her again in the future, and recommend fully!”

“Cora has been consistently showing up for over three months and has managed to build a trusting relationship with our very shy cat. She is attentive and I highly recommend her.”

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life, and caring for both cats and dogs have always brought me a lot of joy. Growing up I always had cats and dogs in the house at all times. Caring for them through every stage of life has taught me a lot about patience, trust and the eclectic personalities that make pets so wonderful. I love learning about animal behavior and body language so I can help animals feel safe, understood and comfortable. I believe in meeting them where they are and earning their trust at their own pace, no matter the personality type. As a mainly remote working professional, I have the flexibility to provide dependable visits and walks throughout the day. I can easily fit care into my routine while updating parents with photos and messages along the way. I understand inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. I treat every home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. As an owner with specific pet routines of my own, I know that each pet has their own preferences and comfort level that I pay close attention to. My goal is to provide dependable care, clear communication and peace of mind so you can be present while you're away knowing your pet is in good hands.

I am very patient and observant. I will keep your pet engaged in indoor and outdoor activities! If you provide me with house rules for your pet I will follow them to the best of my ability. About: I have cared for animals my whole life! I currently have one cat but have had dogs cats, and turtles. I am very attentive. I try to communicate with each animal on their level. It's important to me that they feel heard. Whether they're trying to show me something that interests them, or worries them. I am always watching and listening. I work part-time right now, so I have a lot of time during the week to care for your pets. We will just need to find a time that suits both out needs. Firstly, I will follow any specialized directions you give me. You know your pets better than anyone! Secondly, I've cared for pets pretty much my entire life and their safety is my #1 priority. I know how to keep an eye on them- even the mischievous ones haha!

I am currently in school locally at the SRJC, I am in school at both the Petaluma and Santa Rosa campus. I am a full time student and I also do volunteer work with Forgotten Felines and Forget Me Not Farm. Since I don’t have a job, this makes me the ideal candidate to work with your lovely sidekicks with no distraction! Working with animals is my dream, I want to be a neuro-vet, this is how I can work closely with animals in my current stage. My school hours are between 9AM-4PM M + W, and 9-11 Tues + Thurs, I will be in school during these times and return immediately to assist with your pet(s) afterward! I usually have an hour - hour and a half gap in between classes, if I need to stop by for a few minutes during that period I’m sure we will work it out. I love making sure that animals are comfortable, I will ensure house rules are in place, and I am excellent in dog training. I love to spend time with the animals even when not required.
“Savannah is awesome, I will definitely use her again for upcoming times that I'll be away. Having one dog with a heart murmur makes it difficult to leave home, so having someone I can trust to take care of him and my other dog is very freeing and reassuring.”

“Tiffany took great care of our guinea pig and fish while we were out of town for a week during the holidays. She is an amazing petsitter and went above and beyond the care we were hoping for. Our guinea pig had last minute health issues, and Tiffany took on extra medication administration as well as wound care. She did an amazing job, and we can’t thank her enough.”

The only reason we feel good leaving our elderly cats to go on vacation is because we know Cora will take such amazing care of them! She's incredibly communicative, kind, caring, always goes above and beyond and is just an awesome person. I couldn't possibly think more highly of her, or be more forceful in my recommendation that if you're on the fence, just give her a shot - you'll be incredibly happy you did!
I have used Ariel a few times now and really appreciate her. She is trustworthy, reliable, and communicative. My kitty is a scaredy cat and when he found a new hiding spot and Ariel couldn't find him once, she called to let me know and offered to stay longer than her booked time, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Ariel!

Finding Audrey has been such a treat for us. She is smart and personable and she is extremely responsible and dependable. She took such wonderful care of our cat and our home. We are so pleased and relieved to find such a nice person to take care of our pet and keep an eye on things while we are away. We no longer need to feel guilty about burdening the neighbors. We think the cat misses her, she got so much extra special personal attention while we were gone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
