I currently am free Monday, Tuesday after noon Wednesday Friday and all the weekend. About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. I have had many dogs over the years ranging from cockapoo’s, terriers, Westies, a German Shepherd and yellow Labs. I have also had 5 cats. My current dog and cat are best friends! I work full time at a dog kennel in Petaluma and days that are grayed out I am available after 5:30 pm for visits or walks. Emmalene genuinely saved my cat’s life. There was a fire in our home while we were out of town and thankfully she arrived for a drop-in visit before it was too late. She called the fire department and made sure Kitty got out safe. She took Kitty home with her and took care of her like she was her own cat until I could get back the next day. I cannot speak highly enough of Emmalene and her above and beyond care; even after such a traumatic experience, I could tell Kitty felt so comfortable and safe staying with her.
