About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. About: I currently have 5 of my own dogs, my oldest we have had for 8 years. I used to work at a dog rescue and I currently work at a kennel, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I work full time at a dog kennel in Petaluma and days that are grayed out I am available after 5:30 pm for visits or walks. Buddy Lee was my first dog (a chihuahua), he sadly past away this year at 15. I grew up with Mocha (a mixed breed dog) and Macie (a pure bred yorkie, currently 14 years old). About: I am a huge animal lover and have had many pets all of my life. My dogs are not just pets but members of the family. I have had many dogs over the years ranging from cockapoo’s, terriers, Westies, a German Shepherd and yellow Labs. I have also had 5 cats. My current dog and cat are best friends! Emmalene genuinely saved my cat’s life. There was a fire in our home while we were out of town and thankfully she arrived for a drop-in visit before it was too late. She called the fire department and made sure Kitty got out safe. She took Kitty home with her and took care of her like she was her own cat until I could get back the next day. I cannot speak highly enough of Emmalene and her above and beyond care; even after such a traumatic experience, I could tell Kitty felt so comfortable and safe staying with her.
