About: I worked at a animal boarding/daycare for over a year I have my own two amazing dogs at home I dog sat for 2 years I currently work at Sonoma State. Weekends I have off and I can make my own hours at my campus job. I also am a full time student at Sonoma State but I am always able to make time for friends, work, schoolwork, and extra curriculars! I make sure my dog is well fed throughout the day and always play and give cuddles I take my own dog on walks 2 times a day when I am at home. When taking care of your dog I will make sure to follow all instructions that I was given and will never neglect your dog.

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember—family dogs, my own dogs, always under the same roof. Since my dog Tesla passed, this is the longest stretch of my life I’ve gone without a dog in my home, and it’s reminded me just how important dogs are to me. Caring for them truly feels natural and grounding, not like “work.” I work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of attention throughout the day—not long stretches alone. I’m present, attentive, and happy to adjust to each dog’s personality, routine, and needs. I live in a safe, gated, and very pet-friendly community about 10 minutes from the airport, which many clients find convenient for travel days. While I don’t have a traditional yard, I do have two open-air patios that are fully fenced around the perimeter. There's plenty of secure outdoor space with grass areas, walking room, and plenty of space for dogs to relax and explore safely. I always encourage a meet-and-greet before a dog’s first overnight stay so everyone—both humans and canines—feels comfortable. That said, I trust pet parents’ judgment and don’t make it an absolute requirement if schedules don’t allow. I’m happy to send photos and updates during your pet’s stay if you’d like—some owners love frequent check-ins, while others prefer to fully enjoy their trip. I’m comfortable either way and will follow your preference. If any medical issues were to arise, the veterinarian Rover uses for emergencies (VCA) is about 1.5 miles from my home, which offers added peace of mind. My goal is to create a calm, loving, and safe environment where your dog feels comfortable, cared for, and right at home while you’re away. Because I’m home throughout the day, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship—without long periods of pets being left alone. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to adapt to your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, whether that means morning walks, midday check-ins, evening wind-down time, or medication schedules if needed. Since I’m not commuting or away for long stretches, I’m able to be present, attentive, and responsive to each pet’s needs, making this a calm and low-stress environment—especially for dogs who appreciate human company. About: I got my first dog, Duchess, my little mix (shih tzu, pekingese, west highland terrier) 15 years ago. During a family discussion about a pet, I was the only one who advocated for getting her but when my family and I laid our eyes on her, everyone got on board! I’ve been her main caregiver and I’ve enjoyed taking care of her from a young pup to becoming an older dog now. For her daily routine, I take her on a walk about 4 times a day for about 15 minutes. She’s a sniffer so we slowly walk along the neighborhood and I let her take her time on our excursions. It’s always a nice break to spend time with her and get a bit of exercise in. I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for my aunt’s family. They have a two year old small white dog who has lots of energy. I love taking their dog, Peanut, on walks when they’re away and playing ball with him. It’s always a blast!

About: Hi! I’m Alyson. I have over 20 years of professional experience caring for animals. Personally, animals have been in my life since the day my parents brought me home from the hospital. Professionally, I have many years previous experience working as a Veterinary Assistant, Groomer and Pet Sitter. I have volunteered for the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter, as well as cat rescues. I currently volunteer with Wine Country Zoo. I am patient, observant, compassionate, efficient and reliable. I treat every pet in my care as if he/she were my own. I have extensive experience and specialize in the care and knowledge of cats, dogs and small exotic animals such as reptiles, amphibians, rodents, birds, arthropods, rabbits and fish. I also have quite a bit of experience with farm animals such as horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, sheep and chickens. I also have over 5 years previous experience as a veterinary assistant. I am very comfortable administering medications, including Insulin injections. Having been around many veterinary appointments, emergencies and surgeries, I can easily recognize an urgent medical issue and stay calm throughout its duration. Nothing brings me joy like being with animals! Though I’d love to run up and bear hug every big dog and scoop up and kiss every small animal I see, I am very professional and contain my “kid in a candy store” level of excitement. I always remain calm and follow the animal’s lead upon all introductions. I am very intuitive to animal’s emotions, as well as highly observant and aware of their behavior. I look forward to meeting you and your amazing pets! I am available for drop-in visits and dog walks morning through evening most days. I will always mark my availability accurately. About: I've taken care of animals ever since I can remember. I've worked with them at a boarding facility for two years and even have had family friends depend on me to take care of their pets. I have plenty of time to play and get your animals energy out. i do have some hobbies that I can fit in while sitting such as working out. I love animals and cant wait to maybe meet yours! About: I currently have 5 of my own dogs, my oldest we have had for 8 years. I used to work at a dog rescue and I currently work at a kennel, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I work full time at a dog kennel in Petaluma and days that are grayed out I am available after 5:30 pm for visits or walks. I have experience fitting collars and harnesses to all sized dogs for their safety. I also know how to safely and properly use e-collars, prong collars, muzzles, martingales, and gentle leaders. I have a reactive dog myself, so I know how to keep dogs safe in environments that may make them uncomfortable.

About: I grew up around dogs and cats and love animals! My last dog was with me for 12 years and was 150lbs of pure love and snuggles. I am comfortable with small and large breeds as well as senior dogs. Apart from owning dogs, I also take care of friends and neighbor's cats while they are away and love cats as well. I’m an excellent communicator and happy to work with you to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable with me! I’m a mom of two school age kids who is looking to fill time while they are at school I would love to play, walk and snuggle your pets. I also offer boarding as long as the pet is good with kids. My kids love to cuddle and play with animals. We love being outdoors and walking, hiking and exploring what Sonoma County has to offer. I have a large Jeep that offers plenty of space for dogs. I live across from a large park with plenty of grass to play in, and a creek trail which is perfect for dog walks- lots of things to smell! I do daily or twice daily walks for dogs and have a pet-proofed home for their stay.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 15.Friends have relied on me to walk,feed, and take their dog out when they are out of town. I am going to transfer to sfsu in the fall. About: Ever since I was little I’ve always been around animals, whether it was cats, dogs, cows, chickens or bunnies. I have taken care of all kinds of animals for years. I have always enjoyed being around animals and I love going on walks especially if there is a dog by my side. I am a senior at Chico State and hopefully starting a part time job soon. However, I find myself with plenty of free time. During that time I usually hangout with friends or take my dog on a new adventure.
