About: I got my first dog, Duchess, my little mix (shih tzu, pekingese, west highland terrier) 15 years ago. During a family discussion about a pet, I was the only one who advocated for getting her but when my family and I laid our eyes on her, everyone got on board! I’ve been her main caregiver and I’ve enjoyed taking care of her from a young pup to becoming an older dog now. For her daily routine, I take her on a walk about 4 times a day for about 15 minutes. She’s a sniffer so we slowly walk along the neighborhood and I let her take her time on our excursions. It’s always a nice break to spend time with her and get a bit of exercise in. I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for my aunt’s family. They have a two year old small white dog who has lots of energy. I love taking their dog, Peanut, on walks when they’re away and playing ball with him. It’s always a blast!

About: I currently have 5 of my own dogs, my oldest we have had for 8 years. I used to work at a dog rescue and I currently work at a kennel, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I work full time at a dog kennel in Petaluma and days that are grayed out I am available after 5:30 pm for visits or walks. I have experience fitting collars and harnesses to all sized dogs for their safety. I also know how to safely and properly use e-collars, prong collars, muzzles, martingales, and gentle leaders. I have a reactive dog myself, so I know how to keep dogs safe in environments that may make them uncomfortable.

About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. I have a small home but a big yard, so while I can’t accommodate boarding, I have a large outdoor space and my own pup that is eager for play dates during the day. About: Hello, my name is Lisa, and I adore dogs! I have had many fur babies over the years and I currently have one dog, a female, Ebony, who I adopted from a dog rescue in Sacramento nine years ago. I also have a kitty, Venus, who is also female, is 13 years old and is also a rescue. I recently took some time off to care for my mother, hence the gap in my service here at Rover. Here’s a little history about me and my experience with dogs, cats, horses, goldfish and mice. I have been an animal lover since a very young age, when I had a pet mouse and a goldfish. I then convinced my mom to adopt a cat, which I named Bilbo. I loved him so much. When I was in junior high, we adopted a sweet dog we called Tonka. I then fell in love with horses, and my mom bought me a horse, who I loved very much. I participated in Future Farmers of America in high school and I am a former volunteer dog walker for the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter. I have a 13-year old female domestic short-haired cat named Venus, and an eight year old terrier named Ebony. Both are very sweet, and Ebony gets along with every dog she's ever met. We live in the M Section of Rohnert Park where we enjoy taking long walks together. I have a nice-sized, fenced back yard with plenty of room to play. I have previous experience as a dog walker at the Rohnert Park animal shelter. I can't imagine a life without animals in it, and I will take special care of yours. My schedule varies week to week, depending on my work schedule, and I am generally available in the evenings and weekends unless I am out of town. On the weekends, I enjoy walking and hiking with Ebony, gardening, and kayaking. My pets are family, and they sleep with me. They also lounge and nap on my couches. I have a lot of toys and a nice backyard which is fenced. Your dog(s) will feel right at home here!

About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. I lost my special girl recently, and this is the first time in a while I am without my own dog. I would love to help you care for your dog while I decide whether to adopt again. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available to go for walks and give potty breaks almost anytime day and evening. I live in a townhouse that does not have a fenced yard. However, I used to take my dog for several walks per day for both exercise and potty breaks. Dogs are welcome in any part of the house, or can be restricted to downstairs, depending on their needs. I am happy to visit your pet in your home to offer a potty break, take for a walk, or just give some attention.

About: Hello! My name is Lexie, and I have been pet sitting for over 10 years now. Growing up, I was always surrounded my dogs of all breeds, and love to love on them as if they were my own! Your pup will be in extra great hands with me, as I work from home (my husband as well) and can give them all the love and attention they deserve. I have a dog, Milo, who is a 5 year old Kerry Blue Terrier (but looks like a doodle). He is a rescue, and the sweetest boy, with lots of energy for friends. About: I’ve grown up with pets! I love snuggling with my dog and giving her love. I’ve watched my friends’ dogs, cats, and even collected some chicken eggs! I’m more than comfortable with animals and taking care of them. During the school year I take classes at the local Junior College a few times a week. During the Summer months I’m working on improving myself through hobbies at home. I take caring for my friends’ animals very seriously.
