About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. I am observant of their communication styles, and use my observation skills to make sure I attend to their needs and keep them happy. I lost my special girl recently, and this is the first time in a while I am without my own dog. I would love to help you care for your dog while I decide whether to adopt again. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available to go for walks and give potty breaks almost anytime day and evening. I live in a townhouse that does not have a fenced yard. However, I used to take my dog for several walks per day for both exercise and potty breaks. Dogs are welcome in any part of the house, or can be restricted to downstairs, depending on their needs. I am happy to visit your pet in your home to offer a potty break, take for a walk, or just give some attention.

About: I am a huge animal lover and have had many pets all of my life. My dogs are not just pets but members of the family. I have had many dogs over the years ranging from cockapoo’s, terriers, Westies, a German Shepherd and yellow Labs. I have also had 5 cats. My current dog and cat are best friends! I care for many friends and neighbor dogs and have play dates on a daily basis. Dogs are always on the guest list for dinner parties or holiday gatherings and have gifts under the tree. If I had a bigger yard, I’d have a dozen. I would love to meet and spoil your dog while you were away. I will treat them like my own and we will have a great time together. After retiring from my long term job, I became a caregiver for family members. I enjoy walking so thought this would be a perfect fit for getting more exercise and fill my love of having multiple dogs. I have availability in between caring for people and would love to take your dog for a walk. I will care for your pets as my own in your home and a walk. About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. She called the fire department and made sure Kitty got out safe. She took Kitty home with her and took care of her like she was her own cat until I could get back the next day. I cannot speak highly enough of Emmalene and her above and beyond care; even after such a traumatic experience, I could tell Kitty felt so comfortable and safe staying with her.
