“My dog Beau had a great time staying with Jill. She is very warm and loving and took great care of my beloved fur baby. I loved receiving photos during his stay and they have a super safe setup. I could tell Beau was super happy being there which means a lot when you’re away. Would definitely book again!”

“Caren was great! My dog seemed very happy there and she seemed to take great care of her. Her house is in a nice neighborhood and my dog’s age got a lot of good walks and visits to the dog park, etc. Would definitely recommend Caren!”

“Heather took great care of Mia, sent many pictures, was extremely responsive, and was easy to work with. Mia had a great time finding all of the best snuggle spots and hanging with Heather’s dogs as well. I’d highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs.”

“The perfect stay! Christina was super quick to respond when I needed a last-minute sitter. She was professional and responsive. Puppy ate all his food and had a fun time. We plan to book again in the future :)”

“I had a fantastic experience with Sandy! From the moment she picked Lucy up, I felt completely confident that she was in great hands. Her communication was prompt and friendly, and the regular updates and photos really put my mind at ease. Lucy came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It's such a relief to find someone as trustworthy and attentive as Sandy. I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future—thank you so much for taking such great care of Lucy!”

“We loved using Lauren for our dog’s weekend stay! She provided daily updates and accommodated our dogs needs really well. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Hannah was an amazing sitter! I would recommend her a million times. We were traveling and had a kennel back out on us last minute, which left us in a rough spot, and Hannah was able to help us last minute and was so flexible and understanding. She was so sweet and patient with Mark, spent lots of time with him, and gave us plenty of pictures, videos, and updates. He had the best time. When we picked him up he was happy, healthy, and exhausted from all the playing and fun! She also fed him extra food when his ran out and kept track of and returned all the toys we sent with him. She has a beautiful and safe property that he loved playing on. I would absolutely book with her again in the future!”

“Jamie was very timely in responding to me and sent me photos and updates. My dog Ollie felt right at home immediately and marched right in. Jamie and Joseph were obviously very familiar with caring for dogs, including noticing the little things, like wiping dogs eyes at the corners which I do. The house was clean and the neighborhood is quiet. I feel absolutely comfortable with having Ollie boarded with them and will be using their services again.”

“Alexis was an absolute pro and took amazing care of our dog. Her home and property is so spacious and great for safe exercise. And Alexis is really communicative and super helpful. Highly recommend!”

“She was a great sitter! Managed a last minute meet and greet and then took excellent care of my dog during his stay. She sent lots of pictures, videos, and updates where I could clearly see him living his best life. Will definitely book again next time I need a sitter!”
“Amanda took wonderful care of our cat, Bootsy, during her 4-night stay. Bootsy is diabetic and requires insulin injections twice a day, and we felt completely comfortable knowing Amanda was experienced and able to give her shots. Bootsy had her own private room in Amanda’s home, which really helped her feel safe in a new environment. When Bootsy didn’t want to eat her first meal, Amanda kept us in the loop so we could figure out the best way to handle it. Thankfully, she made Bootsy comfortable very quickly, and she was eating again later that same day. We really appreciated all of the photos and videos Amanda sent throughout the stay — it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!”

“We can’t recommend Allyse and Justin enough for dog sitting. From the moment we met them, it was very easy to tell that Allyse and Justin were calm, caring, and attentive to our dogs needs. Allyse provided excellent communication throughout the entire experience. We received daily updates, helping us feel calm and at ease being away from our dogs. We were very comfortable knowing Allyse and Justin were giving our dogs attention and caring for them in our absence. We can’t recommend or thank them enough. We would absolutely book with Allyse again!”

“Sheila was incredibly kind and flexible. Her home was a place filled with a lot of warmth and love! She was always super prompt when replying to me and sent me many photos of my dog while she was staying there. I will 100% book with Sheila again. Thank you!!!”

“I left my 6 y.o. Dachshund with Kim over a 6 day period while I was out of town. I chose her, because my dog seemed to warm up to her well. She sent daily pictures of how he was doing and kept my mind at ease. Highly recommended!”

“Earl was great to work with! He is easy going and great with animals. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely recommend this provider and we will surely be using him again in the future.”

“This was our fist time using Jinah to care for our senior cat and she did a great job! She sent pictures and let me know how Lilah was in real time. We will definitely call on Jinah again! Thank you”

“Blake was absolutely wonderful! Everything was perfect — she was always on time and followed all of our instructions carefully and thoughtfully. What meant the most to us was receiving her daily notes about each visit — how everything went and how our kitty was feeling. They were always detailed and included photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our kitten was clearly happy, well cared for, and healthy when we returned — which made us especially grateful. Thank you so much, Blake! We’ll be more than happy to use your services again in the future 💛🐾”

About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. I am observant of their communication styles, and use my observation skills to make sure I attend to their needs and keep them happy. I lost my special girl recently, and this is the first time in a while I am without my own dog. I would love to help you care for your dog while I decide whether to adopt again. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available to go for walks and give potty breaks almost anytime day and evening. I live in a townhouse that does not have a fenced yard. However, I used to take my dog for several walks per day for both exercise and potty breaks. Dogs are welcome in any part of the house, or can be restricted to downstairs, depending on their needs. I am happy to visit your pet in your home to offer a potty break, take for a walk, or just give some attention.

About: I’ve had experience caring for cats for many years and understand that every cat has their own personality, comfort level, and routine. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive, and I’ve cared for both indoor and outdoor cats in the past. Whether your cat is playful, shy, independent, or needs extra attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while keeping you updated with messages and photos.

“Rhiannon is amazing. My cats love her she is so good with them they love it when she brushes them. She always goes above and beyond, watering my plants and bringing in any packages that might arrive. She also send me lots of pictures. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs pet sitting services.”

About: Hi! I’ve cared for cats for many years through friends, family, and personal experience. I understand that every cat has a different personality and comfort level, and I’m patient, attentive, and respectful of their routines and boundaries. I’m very detail oriented and reliable in my day to day life, and I bring that same level of care into pet sitting. Whether your cat is playful, shy, affectionate, or independent, my goal is to help them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates, photos, feeding schedule consistency, litter box maintenance, playtime, and lots of calm companionship. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and home is a big deal, and I take that responsibility seriously.
“Marie did an awesome job of caring for our elderly cat full time in our home while we were away during a one-month trip. The cat needs medication twice daily: 4 different meds (3 in pill form and one transdermal). She monitored his food intake and elimination, as he has slowly been losing weight and then just before we left, he had a case of diarrhea. She also took him for a follow-up appointment with the veterinarian. The cat really warmed up to her. She kept us informed every few days. (We have a camera on the cat's feeding area, so daily reports weren't needed.) The house was in perfect order when we returned.”
“Kimberly did a wonderful job sitting for my cat while I was out of town for a couple weeks. She was communicative, reliable, friendly, and did everything I asked of her. She sent pics and updates after each visit. What more could you want?”
“Torrie is an incredible pet sitter. We’ve used her many times to drop in to take care of our two cats. She’s communicative, detail oriented and dependable. We know our boys are so well taken care of while we are away! Thank you Torrie!!”

“Christina was great! She was very communicative throughout Gibson’s stay, ensuring his safety and keeping to his routine. He was a happy tired pup when we picked him up. Would definitely recommend Christina, and would be happy to rebook her of/when there’s a need!”

“Ellen was such a great sitter! I needed a Rover sitter last minute and she was able to help. She is very kind and communicative and I immediately felt comfortable leaving Grayson with her. She provided photo updates and reassured me he was fitting in well with her pups! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer! (Oh and she sent Grayson home with a stash of really good treats which he promptly reminded me of when we got home - thanks, Ellen!)”

About: Currently being a stay at home mother, my hours are very flexible! Growing up with cats and dogs, my kiddos and I are currently lacking the fun presence of furry friends! Although my apartment is not the biggest, allowing only one dog at a time allows all of my attention to be focused. If pets are to stay overnight you can expect daily walks, trips to dog parks and most likely a bath if we get too ambitious. I am an adventurous person that believes dogs have individual personalities and unique characteristics that should be embraced and loved. Allowing pets to cuddle up on the couch MAY be negotiated because I am a sucker for puppy eyes. I am currently a stay at home with my three kiddos. I home school, so including a dog in the mix is so much fun for us! We often go on walks and trips to the park. I have a fenced yard, doggie door for easy outside access and loving, gentle kids to keep your animals company with lots of love and play.
“Olive had an amazing day with Alexis. We got lots of pictures throughout the day which were very appreciated and it was obvious that our dog had a fun day because she was a very tired and happy dog when she got home.”

“We were very apprehensive leaving Andie with a new sitter. Chelsea did a fantastic job communicating and sending pix throughout the day. Our dog is easy, her owners aren't as much. She managed our anxiety with aplomb, and it was clear Andie had a great time. Looking forward to booking with her in the future.”

About: I have worked with animals in a clinical setting as well as a groomer setting. I have experience as a volunteer dog walker at the Sonoma County Humane Society. I grew up with a cat and several dogs. I have a dog of my own. He is a 7 year old, 65lb staffy mix. I love all dogs and cats. I can't wait to meet your fur child/children! I have a lot of flexibility Friday-Monday. I work Tues-Thurs every week. I have lots of time to care for your pet(s) day or night I have cared for sick animals, puppies, and senior dogs. I can play with active dogs or just keep your pet(s) company. I would care for your pet(s) as if they were my own
“Ellen was great. She took great care of our pup and was very easy going. She even had some advice for activities in town that were really great. We will definitely see her again next time we are in town.”

“I knew my dog would be in great hands the moment Kim greeted him and me at her door. My dog was happy and tired (which is a good thing!) when I picked him up after a day with Kim!”

“Brian was perfect for what I needed. I was in town on a last minute business trip and he was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful. My pup got exactly what she needed that day. I would highly recommend.”

“Steven hosted my dog over for doggy day care when I received a last minute cancellation from another sitter. All worked out great. Steven had prompt communication, understood dog behavior and needs, followed through on my requests on how to care for my dog. Perfect experience, highly recommend! My dog will be back!”

“Taylor is a great dogsitter! The setup is perfect--plenty of room to play, and supervised romps in the back field. Taylor sent several videos--one of them showed Judge waiting patiently at the doorway until called! I'm pretty sure that was photoshopped :) Judge had a great time at Taylor's, and came back happy and tired. He'll definitely return.”

About: I am a life-long dog owner and lover. In the past few years I have helped raise multiple puppies and been a professional pet and house sitter. I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from teeny tiny to 130+ lbs ! I love going on walks in nature and making sure dogs get sufficient exercise and mental stimulation. And of course, lots of snuggles! I have experience with elderly and special needs dogs as well, including medication and special diets. I look forward to meeting your sweet pup! I am a musician who works from home so I have a lot of flexibility and time to pour into the animals I am caring for. Daily walks are my favorite! I treat every space I enter as sacred and care for it like my own. My home has 2 small dogs currently, so it is designed for their care and safety. I love to leave a space cleaner than when I found it! And bless it with positive energy, leaving you with a happy pet.
About: Hello! My name is Lexie, and I have been pet sitting for over 10 years now. Growing up, I was always surrounded my dogs of all breeds, and love to love on them as if they were my own! Your pup will be in extra great hands with me, as I work from home (my husband as well) and can give them all the love and attention they deserve. I have a dog, Milo, who is a 5 year old Kerry Blue Terrier (but looks like a doodle). He is a rescue, and the sweetest boy, with lots of energy for friends. We have a lot of time to take walks, snuggle, and get in play breaks in our fenced yard. I am also flexible enough to go to your home to take care of your animals as needed. I hope to watch your pets and meet you soon! :) I currently own a small business and work very flexible hours from home! I am available every day of the week for drop ins and boarding! If you're curious about specific dates, please send me a message and I'll get back to you ASAP. The entire backyard is fenced in at our home, creating a safe environment for your pets to be in. The safety and well-being of all animals is very important to us, and there will always be someone home with them and looking after them here at our home!

About: I got my first dog, Duchess, my little mix (shih tzu, pekingese, west highland terrier) 15 years ago. During a family discussion about a pet, I was the only one who advocated for getting her but when my family and I laid our eyes on her, everyone got on board! I’ve been her main caregiver and I’ve enjoyed taking care of her from a young pup to becoming an older dog now. For her daily routine, I take her on a walk about 4 times a day for about 15 minutes. She’s a sniffer so we slowly walk along the neighborhood and I let her take her time on our excursions. It’s always a nice break to spend time with her and get a bit of exercise in. I’ve also enjoyed pet sitting for my aunt’s family. They have a two year old small white dog who has lots of energy. I love taking their dog, Peanut, on walks when they’re away and playing ball with him. It’s always a blast!
“Peggy is sooooo amazing. AMAZING, AMAZING AND AMAZING !!!! I have yet to meet a dog walker who treats someone else's pet like her own. Peggy went above and beyond by how attentive, caring, and loving she was. And Daisy simply adores her.”
About: I currently have 5 of my own dogs, my oldest we have had for 8 years. I used to work at a dog rescue and I currently work at a kennel, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I work full time at a dog kennel in Petaluma and days that are grayed out I am available after 5:30 pm for visits or walks. I have experience fitting collars and harnesses to all sized dogs for their safety. I also know how to safely and properly use e-collars, prong collars, muzzles, martingales, and gentle leaders. I have a reactive dog myself, so I know how to keep dogs safe in environments that may make them uncomfortable.
About: Hello, my name is Lisa, and I adore dogs! I have had many fur babies over the years and I currently have one dog, a female, Ebony, who I adopted from a dog rescue in Sacramento nine years ago. I also have a kitty, Venus, who is also female, is 13 years old and is also a rescue. I recently took some time off to care for my mother, hence the gap in my service here at Rover. When you entrust me with the care of your dog, you can rest easy knowing that I will care for them as my own❤️. I look forward to meeting you and caring for your dog(s)! Here’s a little history about me and my experience with dogs, cats, horses, goldfish and mice. I have been an animal lover since a very young age, when I had a pet mouse and a goldfish. I then convinced my mom to adopt a cat, which I named Bilbo. I loved him so much. When I was in junior high, we adopted a sweet dog we called Tonka. I then fell in love with horses, and my mom bought me a horse, who I loved very much. I participated in Future Farmers of America in high school and I am a former volunteer dog walker for the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter. I have a 13-year old female domestic short-haired cat named Venus, and an eight year old terrier named Ebony. Both are very sweet, and Ebony gets along with every dog she's ever met. We live in the M Section of Rohnert Park where we enjoy taking long walks together. I have a nice-sized, fenced back yard with plenty of room to play. I have previous experience as a dog walker at the Rohnert Park animal shelter. I can't imagine a life without animals in it, and I will take special care of yours. My schedule varies week to week, depending on my work schedule, and I am generally available in the evenings and weekends unless I am out of town. On the weekends, I enjoy walking and hiking with Ebony, gardening, and kayaking. My pets are family, and they sleep with me. They also lounge and nap on my couches. I have a lot of toys and a nice backyard which is fenced. Your dog(s) will feel right at home here!

About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. I have a small home but a big yard, so while I can’t accommodate boarding, I have a large outdoor space and my own pup that is eager for play dates during the day. As for house sitting, I provide attentive, personalized care in my client’s home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely. With my history in the animal health field, I am comfortable administering any medications if needed. As a person who values communication, I provide regular ‘pupdates’ and pictures so owners feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Amanda was great. I needed a last minute dog walker as I was leaving for a work trip and she was immediately responsive and was able to connect with my neighbor to make sure everything went smoothly. I will definitely be using her in the future, as needed, and would highly recommend.”

“Torrie is so great to with - she is very communicative and was able to help me last minute and took amazing care of my pets. She gave me frequent updates and checked in so I knew they were safe and happy with her.”

“Blake is so good with our two young, high strung dogs. On the days they go on walks with her, they are so much happier when we get home from work and behave much better after getting some energy out during the day. Blake is patient, kind, communicative and trustworthy. Thank you ❤️”

“Oli has been such a help for both overnight house sitting and quick workday walks. She is respectful of all my requests, very communicative and helpful. Best of all, she is so great with my large, energetic German shepherd dog. I’m so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her services.”
