About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. I am observant of their communication styles, and use my observation skills to make sure I attend to their needs and keep them happy. I lost my special girl recently, and this is the first time in a while I am without my own dog. I would love to help you care for your dog while I decide whether to adopt again. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available to go for walks and give potty breaks almost anytime day and evening. I live in a townhouse that does not have a fenced yard. However, I used to take my dog for several walks per day for both exercise and potty breaks. Dogs are welcome in any part of the house, or can be restricted to downstairs, depending on their needs. I am happy to visit your pet in your home to offer a potty break, take for a walk, or just give some attention.

My golden retriever mix stayed with Caren for 3 weeks, and I could not be happier with the care that she gave to my dog - Rex. When I came back to pick up Rex from his stay, he was happy to see me, but also he was very excited to show how happy he was in Caren's home. I could see how much she cared for him by the way he responded to her - kept on going back to her with a wagging tail (which with past sitters wasn't the case - he usually just waits at the door to leave). I would highly recommend Caren for your next sitter if you want someone who will create a caring environment for your dog, that in turn will give peace of mind.
Ellen was amazing watching our dog Maddie for two nights. She kept in constant contact with pictures and videos which made us feel so comfortable leaving our dog with her. Maddie will be staying with Ellen on any future trips we have as we know she will have a great time and be well loved and taken care of.
Abygail and Kai took great, thoughtful care of our old gal, Kona. We were gone for a little over a week and it was such peace of mind knowing they were with her. Alexis offered great dog boarding experience to our dog. She was prompt from time we contacted her all the way to checking out our dog. The best part is, she has a fenced huge lot (in few acres) and dogs get plenty of exercise and can play in her open space until they are tired. Alexis is prompt in updating when we inquired about our dog. There are several other dogs also when my dog boarded and so, my dog probably had good fun with other dogs. Alexis is friendly and greets with a big smile and very welcoming and even offered the tour of her backyard and see other dogs she was taking care at that time. I do not hesitate to leave my Dog again with Alexis. Thank you Alexis for taking care of Sidhu.
Zoey had a wonderful stay with Kim over the holidays. From the beginning, we appreciated Kim’s communication and flexibility. We arranged a meet and greet and instantly felt assured that she would be an excellent sitter! She even made Zoey a Christmas stocking and made her feel extra special- above and beyond! We received many updates and photos throughout Zoey’s stay. High recommend her!
I’m very glad to have found Jamie! my husband and I are new to the area and we didn’t have anyone to watch our terrier. Jamie took the time for a meet and greet. After seeing her house and happy little poodle , I felt comfortable dropping my terrier off with her a few days later. I was sent videos during the stay and I could see my dog was comfortable and having fun! I will definitely reach out to Jamie next time we need a sitter.
Gavin did a FANTASTIC job watching Buster. Every day, three times per day, he sent me photos of my dog to put my mind at ease. I ended up seriously injuring myself the day of pick up and Gavin was very accommodating in keeping Buster longer as I was in the hospital. I HIGHLY recommend Gavin and will definitely use him again.
Cannot say enough great things about Jennifer, we are so happy we found her! Milo had an amazing time with her and her children and looked so happy during his entire stay. Jennifer is professional, communicative, and just a pleasure to work with. We would LOVE to have Milo stay with her again soon!
Tiffany took our last minute booking and was absolutely wonderful. Rocky usually has a hard time leaving me and going with his sitter but she brought her dog out to greet us and Rocky left with her without issue. Tiffany sent videos and photos and was easy to chat with. 10/10 recommend.
