Due to my full time job as a Vet Assistant, my schedule is unfortunately a bit more strict than most pet sitters. I am available before 7:30 AM and after 5:30 PM on weekdays to those in the Santa Rosa and surrounding areas, and I'm available before 7:45 PM, after 5:15 PM, and mid-day for those in the Healdsburg area. On weekends, I'm fully free to take care of your furry friends.

I will always take measures to ensure your pets safety during and after any visits. I triple check that all windows are closed and every door is locked before leaving, and I am happy to work with you regarding alarm systems. I will let you know if I ever notice anything unusual, and I am quick to respond in emergencies. My work as a Vet Assistant has given me the skills to quickly and easily recognize medical emergencies as well as the best way to treat minor illnesses and scrapes. I also have experience breaking up fights between animals, but I always take measures to ensure that never happens.

It's important for me to know quite a bit about your pet so that I can offer the best care for their unique needs. I make sure to inquire after behavior and medical issues, preferred food and activities, and how to best make your pet happy while I'm with them. I strongly believe the more information the better, and I make sure to be thorough when talking with pet parents.
A typical day
I love playing with pets of all kinds, and enjoy taking long walks with dogs. If they know any tricks, I'm always happy to prompt them, as I know that can be great mental stimulation. For my kitty friends, I always take special care to learn about their unique personality and play style so I can give them the best play time experience as possible. Of course, I also give all pets lots of love and pets, unless they prefer to be alone.

Thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Brynn, but everyone calls me Asher or Ash. I have over 6 years of experience pet sitting, and I have owned a large variety of pets my whole life. I know that your pet is a part of your family, so I make sure to treat them with the love and care I give mine. I'm professional and work closely with pets parents to make sure all of their animals are taken care of according to their unique needs. I am also calm in emergencies and I have ample experience administering medication of all types to even the most stubborn of kitties and pups. I have experience with a huge range of animals beyond dogs and cats, including fish, reptiles, birds, and farm animals (including horses, cows, goats, and more!)

Ash did amazing with my kitties and lizard. He was very professional and was happy to answer all of my (many) questions, and made sure to send me lots of photos while I was out of town. His pricing was a bit more than I'm used to, but the quality of the care more than made up for it. His care was far better than sitters I have had in the past, and it's clear he really cares about the pets he looks after.
Brynn, or Asher as he told me he prefers, did a great job taking care of my fur babies! One of my dogs is still a puppy, while my other dog is a senior that's really slowed down the past couple of years. He did a great job with both of them and was able to accommodate both of their energy levels. He gave me very thorough updates with lots of pictures, which I greatly appreciated. He even watered all of my plants without asking for any extra charge. Would highly recommend!
