I am an avid hiker and trail runner and, if allowed, would love to share that with your pet! I have had two dogs in my life and both of them taught me patience among other things. I can handle energetic dogs and I can also tend to elderly dogs as well. I am happy to tailor my service in any way that might serve your pet better and I'm always open to any and all feedback. About: I am a huge animal lover. Ever since I was little I have loved being around animals. I started pet sitting for my neighbors since I was 15. They rely on me to feed and water their pets, let them out when needed, walk them, and sometimes give them their medication. 2 years ago, our family got our first dog; his name is Sydney and he's an Aussiedoodle. I already had a lot of experience with pets from pet sitting but I have really learned so much more from him which has helped me learn how to handle all types of pets. He's one of the best things to ever happen to us and really is the center of my family's universe. I’m currently on summer break so my schedule is fairly open. Times might vary though I’m flexible and it's something I'm happy to work out in order to fit everyone's schedule. When I am taking care of your pets, I'll always make sure to treat them as my own. I try to maintain a consistent routine as much as possible and give them lots of extra love and attention because I know how hard it can be on pets when their humans leave. Additionally, I make sure that they are able to eat and drink water during each visit because I know that sometimes their appetite decreases if they're sad and missing their owners. I love walking and I would love to spend time walking your pets and making sure they have fun and are comfortable but I can't walk more than dog at a time. I am also happy to accommodate any special needs your pet might have and keep you updated with pictures etc to put your mind at ease. My goal is that your pets remain happy and healthy while I am taking care of them.

Emmalene genuinely saved my cat’s life. There was a fire in our home while we were out of town and thankfully she arrived for a drop-in visit before it was too late. She called the fire department and made sure Kitty got out safe. She took Kitty home with her and took care of her like she was her own cat until I could get back the next day. I cannot speak highly enough of Emmalene and her above and beyond care; even after such a traumatic experience, I could tell Kitty felt so comfortable and safe staying with her. I cannot thank her enough for saving my cat’s life.
