Even though I work full time, pet care fits really naturally into my schedule. On the days I work from home, I can pop out for midday walks and check-ins, and I’m always free for morning and evening visits. If you need someone to stay overnight, I can do that too. I’m used to planning my day around pets, so making sure they get attention, exercise, and lots of love is something I’m happy to build into my routine.

Safety, trust & environment

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep everything as close to their normal routine as possible. That means sticking to their usual feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions you have. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and comfort so they feel safe while you’re away. I’m also happy to handle things like medication, crate routines, or extra calm time for anxious pets. If your pet stays in my home (or if I’m house-sitting), I treat them like part of the family. They get lots of interaction, play, cuddles, and a cozy, calm environment. I make sure they have a consistent routine and always feel included and cared for.

Information Carley D. would like to know about your pet

Before I watch your pet, I like to know their daily routine, energy level, and any quirks that help them feel comfortable. Let me know about feeding schedules, medication needs, favorite activities, and anything they’re nervous about: loud noises, other dogs, certain handling, etc. I also appreciate a heads-up on house rules (furniture, treats, walking preferences) so I can keep things consistent. The more details you share, the easier it is for me to make your pet feel totally at ease while you’re away.

A typical day

I like to match the energy of each pet I’m watching. For dogs, that usually means morning and evening walks, mid-day sniff breaks when I’m working from home, and plenty of playtime: fetch, tug, or whatever their favorite game is. I also mix in simple enrichment activities like treat puzzles or training refreshers to keep them mentally engaged. For cats, I’m all about wand toys, feather chases, window-perch time, and keeping their space fresh and cozy. Whether they’re playful or more into relaxing, I make sure they get attention and stimulation in a way that feels natural for them. No matter the pet, my goal is to keep them entertained, comfortable, and feeling like they’re getting their normal routine, just with a little extra fun.

Keeping Pets Happy!

Pet care experience

What sets me apart is the energy, love, and experience I bring to every pet I care for! I’ve been around animals my whole life, and I truly love meeting new furry personalities. I’m great with puppies who need training and structure, high-energy dogs who crave playtime, and senior pets who deserve extra comfort and patience. Whether it’s practicing commands, giving meds, sticking to routines, or going on fun walks and adventures, I’m all about making your pets feel happy, safe, and loved. I treat every animal like my own, and I can’t wait to meet yours!

Thanks so much for your help Carley. No worries about the food. She’s very picky. Sometimes she needs a little wet food to entice her. I greatly appreciate your assistance. I’ll definitely keep u in mind for future visits. 😊😊
