About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. I have a small home but a big yard, so while I can’t accommodate boarding, I have a large outdoor space and my own pup that is eager for play dates during the day. As for house sitting, I provide attentive, personalized care in my client’s home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely. With my history in the animal health field, I am comfortable administering any medications if needed. As a person who values communication, I provide regular ‘pupdates’ and pictures so owners feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I currently have 5 of my own dogs, my oldest we have had for 8 years. I used to work at a dog rescue and I currently work at a kennel, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I work full time at a dog kennel in Petaluma and days that are grayed out I am available after 5:30 pm for visits or walks. I have experience fitting collars and harnesses to all sized dogs for their safety. I also know how to safely and properly use e-collars, prong collars, muzzles, martingales, and gentle leaders. I have a reactive dog myself, so I know how to keep dogs safe in environments that may make them uncomfortable.

I’ve also been pet sitting for dogs and cats in my neighborhood since high school, giving me over 10 years of experience caring for animals in both casual and structured settings. Most recently, I spent the past year doing a work-stay on a farm, where I was responsible for the vegetable garden, 12 fruit trees, and the daily care of a variety of animals, including two sheep, nine chickens, three cats, and a dog. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, monitoring health and behavior, and maintaining safe, comfortable environments for all animals. I’m very familiar with sticking to routines, which I know is especially important for pets while their owners are away. I live an active lifestyle and love being outdoors, so I’m great with pets that need long walks, runs, or playtime. I truly treat every pet like my own and prioritize clear communication with owners through updates, messages, and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you're away. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently doing a farm stay in Sebastopol, where I follow a consistent schedule of daily animal care. While these responsibilities do not take up my entire day, they do require me to stay in the area, so I am only able to take on pet care within Sebastopol. I have a flexible schedule and am available any day of the week in the Sebastopol area. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits, as long as it is within the area. I follow your instructions closely and stick to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always safe, and I pay attention to each pet’s behavior so I can respond to what they need, whether that’s space, attention, or exercise. I keep your home tidy and respect your space, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so you know how everything is going.

About: Hello, my name is Lisa, and I adore dogs! I have had many fur babies over the years and I currently have one dog, a female, Ebony, who I adopted from a dog rescue in Sacramento nine years ago. I also have a kitty, Venus, who is also female, is 13 years old and is also a rescue. I recently took some time off to care for my mother, hence the gap in my service here at Rover. Here’s a little history about me and my experience with dogs, cats, horses, goldfish and mice. I have been an animal lover since a very young age, when I had a pet mouse and a goldfish. I then convinced my mom to adopt a cat, which I named Bilbo. I loved him so much. When I was in junior high, we adopted a sweet dog we called Tonka. I then fell in love with horses, and my mom bought me a horse, who I loved very much. I participated in Future Farmers of America in high school and I am a former volunteer dog walker for the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter. I have a 13-year old female domestic short-haired cat named Venus, and an eight year old terrier named Ebony. Both are very sweet, and Ebony gets along with every dog she's ever met. We live in the M Section of Rohnert Park where we enjoy taking long walks together. I have a nice-sized, fenced back yard with plenty of room to play. I have previous experience as a dog walker at the Rohnert Park animal shelter. I can't imagine a life without animals in it, and I will take special care of yours. My schedule varies week to week, depending on my work schedule, and I am generally available in the evenings and weekends unless I am out of town. On the weekends, I enjoy walking and hiking with Ebony, gardening, and kayaking. My pets are family, and they sleep with me. They also lounge and nap on my couches. I have a lot of toys and a nice backyard which is fenced. Your dog(s) will feel right at home here!

My home is a canine paradise! It's quiet and serene with plenty of shade, a fully fenced yard, and a private dirt road that meanders through the countryside right out our back door, - perfect for walks for the dogs. There ia a resident Labrador retrievers named "Heart" and a Bernese Mountaing Dog named "Stormy" They are great ambassadors and love to host furry friends. I can also offer training, baths/grooming just ask if you think you would like this. We look forward to your dogs vacay with us. Why I love dog sitting I know when I leave for vacation, knowing my animals are in good hands allows for me to relax and enjoy my time away worry free. About: I love animals so much I got a degree in Animal Science and I'm pursuing a Vet Tech certification! I have personal experience caring for a variety of dogs in my life: A HIGH energy pitty puppy, a senior and disabled corgy-shepard, and my very own dog, Sheldon, the rainbow terrier rescue ❤️. About: I've had 2 cats and 1 dog in the past, and now I have Taylor, a 2 year old Standard Poodle. Additionally I have cared for numerous cats and dogs in my lifetime.
