I walk everyday, rain or shine and love to bring happy dogs on the trail! In My Home: I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. I maintain a calm, safe environment and follow your established routines as closely as possible—from feeding schedules to playtime preferences. For dogs, I provide plenty of exercise through walks or hikes suited to their energy level, and I'm always attentive to their comfort and body language. I keep pets secure with leashed walks, and I'm vigilant about potential hazards both indoors and on trails. For pets on medication or special diets, I follow instructions carefully and keep detailed notes. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. Since I work from home, the pet is with me 24/7, with only short breaks if I need to go do an errand - in which case we use a crate. In Your Home: I respect your home as I would my own. I follow all your instructions for feeding, medication, routines, and house rules. I keep things tidy, secure doors and windows, and ensure your pet stays safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, or adjust lighting to give your home a lived-in feel while you're away. My home is a canine paradise! It's quiet and serene with plenty of shade, a fully fenced yard, and a private dirt road that meanders through the countryside right out our back door, - perfect for walks for the dogs. There ia a resident Labrador retrievers named "Heart" and a Bernese Mountaing Dog named "Stormy" They are great ambassadors and love to host furry friends. I leave the house on occasion but can either take your dog with me for a car ride if they like that, leave your dog home or if you would prefer, crate it for a short time. About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. About: I’ve had cats, dogs, hamsters, birds and rabbits my entire life. I’ve had special needs cats that require specialized care including giving fluids to a kitty with kidney disease. I’m educated in what to look for indicating signs of illness and am comfortable and experienced giving medications. I am self-employed so my schedule revolves around whatever pet sitting, dog walking or other services I have scheduled. I am not available to provide constant care at your house. I would be in and out all day because of dog walking and drop in visits. If you need a sitter to be at your house 15+ hrs a day please look for a sitter that can accommodate your needs. I have dogs and cats of my own, so I generally only pet sit for rodents and cats that I can keep in a separate part of my home. Dogs would have to have a pre-care meeting with my animals to make sure that they get along.

I also cat and dog sit, available to spend the night and stop by during work hours or work from home. I love sitting and petting a cat while watching a movie or taking a dog out on a spring lake adventure. I am available anytime on weekends and during the week starting after about 6 or 7 pm. A few days of advanced notice is preferred for overnight care, as I can arrange to stop by during work hours two times between 8 am -5 pm or to work from home. About: I have experience caring for multiple dogs at a time, including caring for three dogs in one household and two dogs in another. I was responsible for their daily care and making sure they were safe, fed, exercised, and comfortable. Managing several dogs at once taught me how to stay patient, attentive, and organized, even when they were energetic or had different personalities and needs. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and would treat every pet in my care like they were my own. I only have a college class twice a week for only one hour of my day and I have a part-time job that is only certain days of the week. Rover will be the perfect fill-in for all that extra time that I have, and I will always put my customers first. I live in a very mellow neighborhood where there are also many dogs around me where people are walking their dogs and having them on leashes, I live in an apartment that is very dog friendly and I will spend all of my time taking the dog or taking it out on the grass, we do have a dog area at my apartment.
