About: Hello, pet parents! 🐾 We live in Sebastopol, CA and visit my dad who is a retired local doctor in Warwick, NY..in October 2026.. I’m Ariel, grew up locally and lived and traveled the world, now happily home. I sometimes come with my daughter, Ella who is a 10 year old cat/animal whisperer, and very occasionally with Swedish husband, Mats (also background checked:). I offer drop-in visits for feeding, cuddle/play time+ for cats and dogs+, and dog walking in Sebastopol. *I also offer overnight pet/house sitting in the Warwick, NY area when I’m visiting family (see my October 2026 calendar), and occasionally in Sonoma county. *A little Rover note: I joined Rover a couple of years ago and was just getting started when a family illness shifted my attention and priorities for quite a while. *I’m now back and happily opening availability again.( I did continue care for animals/animal parents that had already been under my care, outside of Rover, during that time, and I’m looking forward to building my Rover community up, too:). I have a soft spot for animals who need a little extra understanding—shy, nervous, cautious, quirky, young, older, escape-prone, or simply very particular! I pay attention to their signals and let them show me what they need. I’m often the person who ends up with a cautious cat or dog coming to sit at my feet—even when they don’t usually approach new people. 😊 I’ve grown up with and cared for animals my whole life, and our family currently includes a much-loved part-ocelot rescue cat. *Your pet’s comfort, safety and happiness are my priority while you’re away. I’m always the primary responsible caregiver. My husband Mats (also on Rover and background - checked) and occasionally our animal-loving cat whispering 10-year-old daughter Ella join me, yet only when you agree and your pets are comfortable with it. I’m warm, attentive, patient and playful—yet, equally happy to give an animal the quiet space they need. I’d love to meet you all! 😊 My schedule has some flexibility. With my home studio, virtual clients and office, I’m home much of the day, and many days I coach and work from home. There are various late mornings (occasionally earlier mornings), mid-days and eves available. With the exception of some school drop-off and pick-up times for my daughter, I’m available for loving up, walking, etc. at/from your home or in your neighborhood, as well as some in-home daycare/visits or, occasionally, at our house where we have our cat. Your pet family member(s)’ safety and care is my top priority. See my reviews and the high level of trust they reflect. Mutual communication is a top priority:). I work and care with responsibility, loving awareness, kindness and attention to your home, yard, gardens, gates and environment. I enter gently, calling your pet’s name so they know I’m there, and slowly open doors/gates to help keep escape artists safely inside:)). We’ll enjoy time together in or outside according to the moment, your instructions, their energy, health and the plan. Having grown up with cats, dogs, ducks, rabbits, birds and more, I understand that every animal has their own temperament, personality and preferences—including how they like (or don’t like) to be picked up, held and approached. Getting to know each other with care is a priority. Through living, traveling and working around the world, I’ve cared for animals in many different kinds of homes and environments. I’ve also had our own pet sitters/carers, giving me firsthand experience of what it’s like to entrust someone with your beloved animals and home. Your home and pet(s) are in good hands. About: I am a dog mom of four boys: Neville, Perrin, Duke, and Reggie. I have watched dogs/cats/rodents/fish for family/friends for years of all ages and sizes. I love spending time with animals, and look forward to going out on walks/hikes, or to the park to throw a ball around. I am a GIS Analyst who loves the outdoors, animals, exercise, and laughing. I even have a tattoo that says "All I want is to pet all of the dogs"! I have experience with dog walking, and sitting both in my own home and staying at the pet's homes. I'd love the opportunity to let your pooch stretch their legs and get some play time in while their person(s) are unavailable. I work from home, love going on multiples outings each day, and fully believe that everything is better with a pet with you to enjoy it as well! I have a fenced yard, live in a fairly quiet neighborhood, and have four dogs of my own. In my own home, I will treat all dogs as my own. In a clients home I will ensure I treat all Areas with respect. In both scenarios I will follow all guidelines and instructions set by the client.

About: Dogs & cats have been in my life since I was born! Growing up, I’ve taken care of so many dogs, cats, and even geckos. These lovely pets including my own, my neighbors, & my friends! I’m currently working Sunday and Monday mornings and in school part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays while focused on saving up money to further pay for my college education, so I have plenty of time available around those days to take care of your lovely pets! ♥️ My Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are completely free and I’ll be happy to keep your furry friend company, on a walk, or check in on them while you are away. :) I have four (some very shy) cats and a dog at home, so while I am unable to bring cats into my own home, I will be able to stay full-time in your home with your fur babies and provide them with all the care they need, while they’re comfortably in their home-environment.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life, and I also grew up raising chickens and quail. I have 1 dog/cat loving dog named Rupert and 1 cat named Panda. I’m a registered nurse during the week, so I’m very comfortable administering medications and injections. I’ve previously house-sat for a diabetic dog and have experience providing attentive care for senior dogs and cats with medical needs. I have a special place in my heart for rescue animals and have dedicated a lot of time to training my own dog, Rupert. I’m committed to providing compassionate, reliable, and high-quality care—and I look forward to treating your pets like part of my own family. I work full-time as an RN, with three 12-hour shifts each week, which gives me two weekdays off and every weekend free. I spend a lot of my time walking my dog, Rupert, and if your pup is friendly, I’d love to include them for walks and positive socialization. If your dog prefers their own space, that’s absolutely fine too. I’m just as committed to providing calm, one-on-one attention and have plenty of experience caring for dogs who aren’t especially social. I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly, dog- and cat-social dog at home. My cat is comfortable around dogs, though he can be a bit selective with new cats. Pets are welcome on the furniture and even the bed—this is a home-away-from-home environment. If your pup prefers their own space, that’s no problem at all. I have multiple dog beds throughout the house and plenty of room for a crate if that’s what they’re used to. I’ve dedicated a lot of time to training my current dog, Rupert, and I’ve only ever owned rescue animals, so I understand the patience, structure, and consistency they need to feel safe and thrive. For walks, I always come prepared with freeze-dried treats to reinforce positive behavior and make the experience fun and rewarding.

About: I’ve had cats, dogs, hamsters, birds and rabbits my entire life. I’ve had special needs cats that require specialized care including giving fluids to a kitty with kidney disease. I’m educated in what to look for indicating signs of illness and am comfortable and experienced giving medications. I am self-employed so my schedule revolves around whatever pet sitting, dog walking or other services I have scheduled. I am not available to provide constant care at your house. I would be in and out all day because of dog walking and drop in visits. If you need a sitter to be at your house 15+ hrs a day please look for a sitter that can accommodate your needs. I have dogs and cats of my own, so I generally only pet sit for rodents and cats that I can keep in a separate part of my home. Dogs would have to have a pre-care meeting with my animals to make sure that they get along.

About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm most weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Mondays and Thursdays, but have flexibility to accommodate if your pet cannot be alone for 8 hours. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your pet’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access.

About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. I have a small home but a big yard, so while I can’t accommodate boarding, I have a large outdoor space and my own pup that is eager for play dates during the day. As for house sitting, I provide attentive, personalized care in my client’s home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely. With my history in the animal health field, I am comfortable administering any medications if needed. As a person who values communication, I provide regular ‘pupdates’ and pictures so owners feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

About: I began my seriously joyous devotion to animals at the age of 11, as an SF ZOO volunteer in the barnyard, where I learned to care for a variety of animals, from miniature horses to coyotes to parrots, and more. I have continued to attract rescuing wayward beasts of all kinds, providing them with excellent love and care. I am a natural nurturer, the animals feel at home with me wherever we are. I have worked as a cat, dog and multi-pet sitter for many years, up until now, only through personal referrals. I am a kundalini yoga teacher, craniosacral and polarity therapist. My son is grown and I have a very flexible schedule. I love to get out with the dogs for long walks and if they don’t mind the car, we might get to the beach. I love nature, the outdoors and finding out how best to care for your animal so that they don’t miss you too much. I absolutely appreciate forming long term client relationships so that you and your animals can relax and have fun. I am self-employed and can accommodate your needs. When I am hired for a pet-sit, this is my focus and priority. I can schedule all my other work around it. I have a lovely minimalist home for your pet, a small garden and plenty of leashed walking in the woods space for regular exercise. If a dog is ok with car rides, I’m happy to take them to the beach.
