About: Hi there! I’m so excited to welcome your pup into our home. I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I started fostering dogs and puppies when I was just 15—often caring for entire litters at once- and I've always had dogs by my side, even during college. When Hurricane Katrina hit, I spent two weeks in New Orleans with a dog rescue group, helping save pets from the flooded areas. That experience deepened my love for dogs and taught me how resilient and special they truly are. Over the years, I’ve also worked with professional trainers to make sure my own dog and my foster pups are happy, well-behaved, and thriving. I’m a stay-at-home mom with plenty of time, patience, and love to give. Our family adores dogs, and our own fun, silly rescue pup from Mexico can’t wait to meet new friends of all shapes and sizes. We’re lucky to live near a park where I can take your dog on walks, and when we’re home, they’ll get nonstop cuddles, playtime, and attention. Leaving your furry family member behind can be stressful, but I’ll treat them like one of my own. Whether they’re here for a quick visit or a longer stay, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, loved, and cared for around the clock. Can’t wait to meet your pup! :) Currently, I am home full-time, so I am available to take your dog for walks and play anytime! I will occasionally be called to soccer practice or games, in which case, we have a safe home for your pet to stay in. Our home is full-fenced and secure, so they can run and play in our backyard. We are also on a quiet cul-de-sac with lots of friendly neighborhood dogs. The dogs are free to roam the house with plenty of dog beds provided. They will be taken for walks twice a day with all-day access to potty breaks in the backyard. In between there will be lots of snuggles and pets, with another dog here as a playmate! :)

About: As a caretaker of your pets, plants, and home, I'm here to help you feel at ease while you're away. I’ve lived with all sorts of animals since childhood. I grew up on a farm, and we had 3-6 dogs at any given time. When I went to college, I adopted the first dog I would raise on my own -- he lived almost 15 happy years. I rescued another pup in my mid-thirties — he’s going on 7, and we’re best buds. So, I have experience taking care of puppies, seniors, and every age in between. My dogs and I have participated in puppy schools and worked 1:1 with excellent dog trainers -- in each case, I learned as much as my dog. I believe dogs just want to give love and get love back. This emotional reciprocation, along with adequate exercise and a healthy diet, makes for a happy, healthy dog. I believe every dog is good by nature, and, as humans, we have a responsibility to provide dogs with a nurturing environment in which they can be their good-natured, happy selves. I love connecting with a new dog, understanding its world and experience. With empathy from this connection, I find it easier to care for a dog and provide the type of love any particular dog needs and wants -- through daily routines, fun-hearted play, and plenty of attention. Ultimately, this leads to a more enjoyable relationship between human and canine. While I’m primarily a dog person, I grew up with lots of cats on the farm and have lived with and cared for cats here and there as an adult. I feel comfortable with cats and understand their needs. I understand the trust required to let someone else take care of your pet. My promise is to always be building and reinforcing my trustworthiness as a caregiver to animals and plants. I walk my dog every day. I understand some dogs need more than one walk per day, depending on their energy level. I also make sure my dog gets outside several times a day to enjoy the fresh air and relieve them. I will do the same for yours, based on your preferences. At this time, I work from home, so my availability for drop-ins or walks is very flexible. I am calm, gentle, and patient and aim to create an environment where the dogs I care for can feel and act the same. When walking, I like to keep dogs on a 6-foot leash (not a retractable leash) and keep the dog walking forward as opposed to stopping every few seconds. I consider myself the leader (not the dog) and intend to set a vibe where the dog understands they have a job to do -- walk!

About: My mom started me young in 4H and my sister became a Vet. I have had animals of all kinds my entire life. I am now known as a ‘dog person’ competing Nationally in agility with my English Springer Spaniels. I currently have 3 dogs that I compete in all AKC performance sports from agility to tracking. I have groomed springers professionally for both pet and the conformation ring. I also have 1 cat, 6 chickens and 2 llamas (Dolly & Pearl). I am an excellent dog trainer and love all breeds. I had a cat that was insulin shot dependent so I know how to give drugs. I have years of puppy and kitten experience. Any of your animals will love me and I am a magnet to them all. You can feel confident in leaving your loved ones in good hands! I am comfortable with “ bully breeds” as well as intact animals. If your pet stays for 7 plus days I offer a bath on pick up morning for extra price dependent on size of dog. Full grooming services are available at end of stay for slightly reduced rate. I am recently retired and available anytime. I can be available midweek or weekends for daytime or overnight care. I can do long walks anytime of day. I have a fully fenced large safe property where your pet can be separate from mine and stay inside in a temperature controlled studio with TV. My yard is large allowing for off leash romping and I live adjacent to a big vineyard for on leash long walks.

I'm an extremely conscientious sitter and l'll make sure everything is as tidy (or more so) than when you left. I will respect your privacy and your belongings. About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm most weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but I may be able to accommodate if your pet cannot be alone very long. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your dog’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. House sitting: I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access. Boarding: If you prefer to board at my place, I live on a partially fenced, three acre property in the forest with my partner, Troy, another fish biologist. We have chickens in a fenced in area, a dog and an indoor/outdoor cat. There is a creek between our house and the street. I usually take my dog out for two walks a day and outside in the yard with supervision, or unsupervised in a completely fenced in porch where she loves to sunbathe.
