“From the moment we met Peter, we immediately felt at ease. He has a calm, confident energy and quickly tuned in to our boys’ personalities and temperament. Peter asked thoughtful questions and paid attention to the details to make sure he could provide the best care possible. We felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs with him and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

About: I grew up in a neighborhood my friends used to call “the farm”. We had 3 dogs, one neighbor had chickens, one neighbor had horses, and another neighbor had goats. Along with various dogs and cats at each house. Because I was the oldest kid in the neighborhood, I was the go-to person anytime a neighbor needed a house sitter or even just needed me to feed their pet dinner since they were out late. When I got older and started driving, I began dog sitting for our large group of friends, taking care of all sizes of dogs, cats, and the occasional reptile. Although I work part-time, I am generally available 7 days a week for house sitting. I am willing to accommodate crazy schedules and last minute plans if need be. I have a small home but a big yard, so while I can’t accommodate boarding, I have a large outdoor space and my own pup that is eager for play dates during the day. As for house sitting, I provide attentive, personalized care in my client’s home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely. With my history in the animal health field, I am comfortable administering any medications if needed. As a person who values communication, I provide regular ‘pupdates’ and pictures so owners feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Kyle has been my go-to dog walker for the last two years. He walks my husky Korra 2-3 times per week depending on my schedule, and has also taken care of her when I've gone away on vacation. Kyle is kind, responsible, flexible and so easy to work with and communicate with. My work schedule shifts week to week, and I sometimes need to ask for a walk last minute, and Kyle is always able to help. We love him!”

“Holly is the best and I highly recommend!!! She’s very attentive and quick to responses. Will continue to use her for future ! Also her children are the sweetest most behaved kids I’ve met in a long time. I know Mauka was in great hands !! 10000/10 ❤️”

“Andrea is literally the best communicator! She is such a gifted and talented fur baby whisperer. Your pet will be pampered, connected with, and loved like her own. Truly an amazing human!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
