About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm most weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Mondays and Thursdays, but have flexibility to accommodate if your pet cannot be alone for 8 hours. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your pet’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access.

About: Hello! I am Marley and I am currentIy a seventh grade teacher in the Santa Rosa area. I have been around various pets my entire life. I grew up with 5 large dogs, a cat, tortoises, snakes, hamsters, parakeets and much more! I absolutely love animals, big or small, furry or not. I can teach dogs commands and tricks, which I have done with my parents’ Australian Shepherd and Australian Cattle dog over the last 7 years. Examples of simple include: sit, down, stay, roll over, heel, and much more. I currently have a one and a half year old golden retriever that I adore named Maisie, she too has learned many tricks. I am an extremely punctual individual and reliable, as I have never been late to a day of work in my life. I am extremely passionate and will do nothing but love and dote on your pets. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companion! Because I am a teacher, my summers are completely open to fit the needs of the families that need pet care. I am free both weekdays and weekends to watch over and take care of your furry companion. I am a big animal lover and treat my pets like they are family. My fur babies have 3 dog beds but are always allowed on my bed and sofa. They have a ball pit full of toys , and when I need to leave for a moment babygates and dog fence it is.

My patience and calm demeanor allow animals to feel very comfortable around me. I have experience giving cats subcutaneous fluids 3x/wk for 7 months, oral meds (liquid and pill form for 1.5 years), facials, baths, and showers. and I'm sensitive & observant to animals' needs. I do my best to understand animal behavior and what they're communicating. When I adopted my cats, Sparkles & Zorro, they truly adopted me as their mom. They were a few months old & I was 10. I was their person, and the only one Sparkles completely trusted. They passed in 2019 & 2024. My dad and I found and revived a young robin from a flood after a tornado. When I come across wildlife or strays in need, I will go to the ends of the earth to help. In college I had a zoology emphasis & interned at an exotic wildlife rehabilitation center. About: My family has always had pets my whole life, including a dog for 14 years and 3 cats. I was always dealt the task of taking care of them so I am very familiar with pet sitting. I was very good/reliable so this job seemed like a natural choice for me. I am currently working at a gym, but only 17 hours a week so this will be more of my main priority. Other than the part time job I am free! I have a fenced yard with a lot of room to play, as well as a safe and comfortable neighborhood street for walks. I also have 2 very friendly cats that stay either outside or in my Mother’s room.

In the past I have worked as a pet and house sitter for a couple families. I always enjoy any time spent with animals. I have flexible schedule making me available to care for your fur babies! I live in Guerneville, but frequently go to Sebastopol throughout the week. So mainly looking to work for ones in these areas. But open to adventuring in to further surrounding areas if its a good fit for us both! Currently I am not able to board pets in my home because I am renting. About: I have been dog sitting and caring for pets for over 10 years. I have always felt such an affinity for animals and I have an extreme amount of empathy for them. Several family friends and relatives have been reliant on me for pet care for as long as I can remember. Sitting, bathing, walking, feeding, you name it I can do it. I currently only work one day a week as a nanny, so I have a very open schedule and would be available most all days. I currently am just looking to sit at clients houses due to my cats territorial issues.
