“Brandi did an awesome job taking care of my dogs, Tucker and Katie. I was worried about Tucker because he can be a grumpy old man. But I had nothing to be worried about. Brandi was able to read him and know when he needed some time alone. Both dogs came home super tired from all the play that had. Brandi updated with lots and lots of pictures showing the dogs playing, gave them a Pupcup treat from Starbucks, and gave them dry baths before they came home. I would recommend Brandi, she has good systems in place for watching dogs. We would use her again!”

Brix is neutered so no worries there. Brix is a friendly dog. Brix loves to explore, play and is energetic. His favorite activity is to fetch a ball or sunbathing. Your pet will have a fun friend to keep them company!

About: I’m a dog person and am experienced with all kinds of dogs in all phases of life! Exercise, stability and love seems to be golden. I aim to keep a pet’s home routine for feeding and walks that they are used to. I’m consistent with feeding, meds and all specific instructions. I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.

About: Walks through Armstrong Redwoods are a favorite activity. I have a large yard and a dog friendly house. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. I've also kept busy with boarding in my home for friends and acquaintances. I love dogs!! I have Sundays and Mondays off from my full time job, but I can fit in a nice walk after 4 pm most other days. When I have someone's dog, they get my full attention; we play, exercise, snuggle. My focus is providing an enriching experience for your dog .

“Ari is the best sitter we have ever worked with. She gave our two shy skittish rescues, Ares and Carter, nearly three weeks of truly loving & fun care. We never once had to ask for photos or updates. We were able to fully enjoy our lengthy vacation without worrying about the dogs at all, which was huge given how we had to cut our last two trips short due to our dogs’ being unsafe with past sitters. I was so reassured by how she cared for them that I booked her for our next trip before this one had even ended. Ari's thoroughness stood out from our very first meet and greet. She asked detailed questions about our dogs that went well beyond the basics, and it was clear she genuinely wanted to understand them and their needs. She gave our pups space and didn’t force any interactions. Ari's patience & care with shy dogs sets her apart. Both of our dogs are Jindo rescues who are reserved with new people and need time to get comfortable in new spaces. Ari respected their timing and let them come to her instead of pushing for attention or constant handling. That approach made a huge difference. Within a week, our very shy dog was curling up to sleep on her bed with her. Both dogs were greeting her with happy barks, kisses, and full-body tail wags. They have never done that with anyone besides my partner and me…not even with friends and family they have repeatedly seen. Her home is a dream for dog parents. Ari secures different areas of her home so that dogs are not only safe but also have a quiet space to retreat to, which matters a great deal for nervous and fearful rescues. Her yard felt very secure, and our pups had such a great time playing in her outdoor space. Since their breed are notorious escape artists, these thoughtful setups gave me reassurance that the pups were secure. The moment that made me happiest came at pickup. Both dogs were happy to see us and still kept taking short breaks from us to go back to Ari on their own, wagging their tails and giving her kisses. Seeing them acknowledge her in the middle of reuniting with us showed how deeply they had bonded with her. Ari completely exceeded our expectations, and it is hard to overstate how much that meant after two horrible experiences that broke our trust. Both happened back to back right before finding her, and we had to end both bookings and trips early because our dogs were not safe. I had vetted those sitters carefully for weeks, and one of them weekly for four months, and it still wasn't enough. Those experiences left us anxious about traveling again and shrank our hopes to one thing: that our dogs would simply be safe.Ari's care went far beyond keeping them safe. Carter & Ares were happy, playful, affectionate & adore Ari. On top of all this, Ari a wonderful person. She is kind, flexible, humorous, and easy to talk to, and that warmth shows in how she cares for the dogs. Since coming home, both our dogs clearly miss her, which is a first. It means so much to know that when we go on vacation, they get a vacation of their own with the fun and care they deserve. We have finally found the person we can trust with our dogs.”

About: I began my seriously joyous devotion to animals at the age of 11, as an SF ZOO volunteer in the barnyard, where I learned to care for a variety of animals, from miniature horses to coyotes to parrots, and more. About: I have had a dog or two most of my life. Growing up we had Maltese & Golden Retrievers. I even had my Golden, Beau, in college at UCSB. My husband & I miss our two St Bernards, Donner(220 lbs) & Sierra (185 lbs). Our Eskipoo, Marley lived to be 20 1/2! We got our Laboradoodle Sirlancelot when he was a puppy 5 years ago so Marley had a companion during his last years. Lancelot will walk with us if you want him to join us! Dogs are always invited to our home when friends stop by or when we have dinner parties! People always say, " dogs just are drawn to you!" I often foster doggies. For some reason they come to our back door and want to stay with us. I would love to meet your doggies!! Life is better with dogs! We have a fenced in backyard and live close to dog parks and many walking and hiking trails. I can crate your pup if required. We discuss your needs and create a custom plan for your dog’s care. I enjoy helping train your pup & have had many years of experience with senior doggies. I multitask working on the Rover app and Task Rabbit app. My schedule is flexible and dogs are in my daily routine. I typically have at least one doggie with me!
