There’s something so special about seeing the happiness dogs bring into our home. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Your dog may be visiting us for just a little while, but they’ll be welcomed with all the love and warmth of family. My children share my love for dogs, and while they enjoy having furry visitors around, I personally handle all pet care and responsibilities. Any interactions with my children are always supervised by me. I also offer morning and evening and weekend drop-in visits.

About: Dogs have always been a passion of mine, and caring for them is something I truly love! I have hands-on experience in pet sitting, small-dog boarding, dog training, pack walking, and working at a professional boarding and daycare facility. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, learning new skills, or just relaxing with some extra affection, I’m happy to meet them where they are! I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away! I work part-time as a massage therapist, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets! I have availability throughout the week for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I’m also able to board small dogs most days of the week. I’ll work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s needs and routine! Whether your pup stays in my home or I care for them in yours, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved! In my home: I have a small yard for potty breaks and live next to beautiful walking trails for daily walks and enrichment. I only board one dog at a time, so your pup gets plenty of individualized attention. I have a friendly corgi and a cat, so visiting dogs must be comfortable living with both. I’m only away for occasional four-hour shifts at a nearby spa, and my partner works from home, so your pup will have company throughout the day. Crates are available if preferred, but your dog is also welcome to sleep with me! In your home: I follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, care instructions, and house rules. I provide daily walks, companionship, and plenty of affection. I work occasional four-hour shifts Tuesday through Saturday, but otherwise can spend my time at your home caring for your pets. For overnight stays, I just ask for access to a bed and kitchen. I know pets are family, and I’ll treat yours like my own!

“Emily and family took amazing care of our dog Chloe when we were out of town. From our meet and greet, Emily asked a lot of very good questions like what habits we allowed and did not allow, what kinds of updates we needed, whether we allowed her to wear her harness when not on a leash, etc. Emily seemed to have a strong background in training young dogs. Their dog Chaka seemed to play with Chloe all day and tired her out. Chloe went home very tired and very happy. While we were stressed about packing and forgot our mini white noise machine, Emily offered to lend us hers. We received frequent photo updates, and Chloe was always very happy in the photos. “Ari is the best sitter we have ever worked with. She gave our two shy skittish rescues, Ares and Carter, nearly three weeks of truly loving & fun care. We never once had to ask for photos or updates. We were able to fully enjoy our lengthy vacation without worrying about the dogs at all, which was huge given how we had to cut our last two trips short due to our dogs’ being unsafe with past sitters. I was so reassured by how she cared for them that I booked her for our next trip before this one had even ended. Ari's thoroughness stood out from our very first meet and greet. She asked detailed questions about our dogs that went well beyond the basics, and it was clear she genuinely wanted to understand them and their needs. She gave our pups space and didn’t force any interactions. Ari's patience & care with shy dogs sets her apart. Both of our dogs are Jindo rescues who are reserved with new people and need time to get comfortable in new spaces. Ari respected their timing and let them come to her instead of pushing for attention or constant handling. That approach made a huge difference. Within a week, our very shy dog was curling up to sleep on her bed with her. Both dogs were greeting her with happy barks, kisses, and full-body tail wags. They have never done that with anyone besides my partner and me…not even with friends and family they have repeatedly seen. Her home is a dream for dog parents. Ari secures different areas of her home so that dogs are not only safe but also have a quiet space to retreat to, which matters a great deal for nervous and fearful rescues. Her yard felt very secure, and our pups had such a great time playing in her outdoor space. Since their breed are notorious escape artists, these thoughtful setups gave me reassurance that the pups were secure. The moment that made me happiest came at pickup. Both dogs were happy to see us and still kept taking short breaks from us to go back to Ari on their own, wagging their tails and giving her kisses. Seeing them acknowledge her in the middle of reuniting with us showed how deeply they had bonded with her. Ari completely exceeded our expectations, and it is hard to overstate how much that meant after two horrible experiences that broke our trust. Both happened back to back right before finding her, and we had to end both bookings and trips early because our dogs were not safe. I had vetted those sitters carefully for weeks, and one of them weekly for four months, and it still wasn't enough. Those experiences left us anxious about traveling again and shrank our hopes to one thing: that our dogs would simply be safe.Ari's care went far beyond keeping them safe. Carter & Ares were happy, playful, affectionate & adore Ari. On top of all this, Ari a wonderful person. She is kind, flexible, humorous, and easy to talk to, and that warmth shows in how she cares for the dogs. Since coming home, both our dogs clearly miss her, which is a first. It means so much to know that when we go on vacation, they get a vacation of their own with the fun and care they deserve. We have finally found the person we can trust with our dogs.”

I’ll be caring for pets in my home, where I have a fenced yard that gives dogs a safe place to get outside, play, and explore. I’m very attentive to their behavior and individual needs, and I’m careful about things like doors, gates, food, and making sure they’re comfortable in a new environment. Mabel took to Chris right away and was clearly comfortable and very well looked after based on all the pictures and videos that Chris sent our way during our 10 day vacation. Mabel was sad to leave her house and will pull on the leash when we walk past! Chris was also very responsive and flexible with our hours and made the process easy and smooth especially over a holiday weekend. We will 100% book with Chris again!”
