I have a fenced in yard, and a metal crate is your dog is used to crate training. I have a 5 year old lab/ Shepard mix who loves to play, but could also keep him separated if requested. I have plenty of toys but you are also welcome to bring any toys with you, put they may get lost under our deck! Dogs are welcome on the furniture and just about anywhere as long as they are properly trained not to potty on furniture!

Marti was great and appreciated her feedback during her stay. It was a 4th of July stay and luckily her place stayed fairly quiet. She truly cares and my dog really appreciates it.
We found Marti wonderful and plan to use her for an upcoming trip. Her dog Lou got along great with our dog. Marti kept us informed how things were going. Even sharing cute stories about what our dog was doing. I appreciated her text and photos. I would highly recommend her as she is very knowledgeable of how it takes times for dog to adjust to new environment. She spent quality time with our dog which shows when we dropped her off and when we came to pick her up, she didn't want to leave.
My dog and her dog Lou got along great. When we did our meet and greet I could see how she was spot on with how they would get along. It was great getting videos and feed back throughout her stay. She knew exactly what I was worried about and knew to let me know how things were going. We have two more stays booked and feel at ease knowing that I don't have to worry.
I have trusted Marti with my dog for over 5 years. When I travel, I know that my pup is in good hands, and my routine I have with my dog will continue to be respected. When I come back, my dog is not exhausted like he was when I used to board him. This shows that he was well taken care of, and not stressed. My pup also eats at Marti’s, when he didn’t eat at his boarding kennel. I have nothing but good things to say about Marti as a sitter.

I typically do a morning walk after breakfast, and a nighttime walk after dinner. If a dog is staying with me, I usually avoid middle of the day walks as the pavement outside can get hot on warmer days. However I do have a fenced in yard and a deck, which is cooler in the middle of the day if they would like to explore.
