“Michelle was the best Rover ever! She came with extensive experience with animals at the Humane Society, which is just what Spirit needed. Spirit was a rescue and although very well adjusted to her new home, having the most experienced and loving caretaker. At our meet and greet, Michelle asked about all of her needs, medical and how to play with her. She was an instant friend with organic buffalo treats on our meet and greet. In our week away we got daily updates with wonderful pictures of Spirit doing her favorite things from eating to playing with her favorite toys. The bubbles, the balls and her wand. About: I've been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember, growing up with a lovable dog named Marley (in my profile picture). At just 10 years old, I started walking dogs around my neighborhood, and that grew into a passion for pet care. While I’ve mostly catsat over the years, I’ve also had the unique experience of snakesitting! Whether furry, scaly, or somewhere in between, I love all animals and treat every pet like my own. My schedule is currently open and will be until this upcoming school year. My other passion is working with children and i’m planning to work at an afterschool program starting this August. I grew up with the notion “leave the place better than you found it.” I’m very aware of leaving a clients home nice and clean. I’m not afraid of picking up pet messes and i’m very good at putting things back where I found them. I pay close attention to care instructions as I believe it’s important to keep a pet on their familiar schedule.

“Rachel was super amazing with my kitties! They seemed to love her. She was very attentive and helped keep my space clean which I really appreciated. I will definitely be using her services again in the future!”

About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm on weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Wednesdays, but I can accommodate if your pet cannot be alone very long. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your dog’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. House sitting: I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access. Boarding: If you prefer to board at my place, I live on a partially fenced, three acre property in the forest with my partner, Troy, another fish biologist. We have chickens in a fenced in area, a dog and an indoor/outdoor cat. There is a creek between our house and the street. I usually take my dog out for two walks a day and outside in the yard with supervision, or unsupervised in a completely fenced in porch where she loves to sunbathe.

About: I’ve taken care of animals all shapes and sizes for more than 7+ years. Owning two of my own and plenty more before, each animal has been treated with love, compassion, care, and plenty of treats! I have also taken care of animals with special needs and health concerns. I am currently working part time for the Town of Windsor. My schedule varies but I typically am available from 1:30pm to 6pm. I am open for morning hours on Mondays! I care for all my pets with compassion and heart. If need, I do have a fenced yard which allows for safety of your animal or any animal in need.

About: I’ve been obsessed with dogs my whole life. Growing up on a ranch, I was constantly surrounded by pups, some mine, some rescues, and all full of personality. I’ve cared for big dogs, nervous dogs, high-energy goofballs, and everything in between. I used to have a Great Pyrenees and a whole crew of German Shepherds, and now I’m just really missing having dogs around. I always follow any feeding, walking, and medication instructions to a T, and I’ll keep you updated with pics and notes so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I don't have dogs at home right now, so your pup will get my full attention without competition or stress. Whether your dog needs playtime, snuggles, or just someone calm and loving to hang with, I’m your girl! I work full-time from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which means I’m available for evening check-ins, walks, or playtime during the week. I’m also free most weekends and would love to spend that time hanging out with your pets. Whether it’s a quick visit, a post-work walk, or some weekend company, I’m happy to help however I can! I know firsthand how important our animals are—they’re family. As a pet parent myself, I completely understand how nerve-wracking it can be to trust someone new with your pet. That’s why I go above and beyond to make you feel confident and comfortable every step of the way. I treat every animal like one of my own and make it a priority to follow your routines exactly, so your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved in their own environment. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always respectful of your home. You can count on me to show up when I say I will, give your pet the attention they deserve, and keep you updated so you never have to wonder how things are going.

About: I’ve taken care of all ages of pets since I was young! I’ve taken care of puppies and sweet elder dogs who need a bit of help! I’m currently home from college and have a pretty open schedule with loads of free time to watch any pet for as long as you need!! If you have boundaries with your dog at home, I can follow those directions and ensure your pet stays safe and sound in your home!

“Stephanie is wonderful with dogs, especially my dogs apparently!!! She is professional, reliable, safety-oriented, very friendly, really loves dogs, and follows instructions very well regarding visits, feeding, potty, medications, and care. I will hire her again and again in near future! I can tell my dogs enjoyed themselves by her photos and text messages too!”

About: My mom started me young in 4H and my sister became a Vet. I have had animals of all kinds my entire life. I am now known as a ‘dog person’ competing Nationally in agility with my English Springer Spaniels. I currently have 3 dogs that I compete in all AKC performance sports from agility to tracking. I have groomed springers professionally for both pet and the conformation ring. I also have 1 cat, 6 chickens and 2 llamas (Dolly & Pearl). I am an excellent dog trainer and love all breeds. I had a cat that was insulin shot dependent so I know how to give drugs. I have years of puppy and kitten experience. Any of your animals will love me and I am a magnet to them all. You can feel confident in leaving your loved ones in good hands! I am comfortable with “ bully breeds” as well as intact animals. If your pet stays for 7 plus days I offer a bath on pick up morning for extra price dependent on size of dog. Full grooming services are available at end of stay for slightly reduced rate. I am recently retired and available anytime. I can be available midweek or weekends for daytime or overnight care. I can do long walks anytime of day. I have a fully fenced large safe property where your pet can be separate from mine and stay inside in a temperature controlled studio with TV. My yard is large allowing for off leash romping and I live adjacent to a big vineyard for on leash long walks.

“She took great care of kitty and house while I was away.”

About: Hi, I have been a dog owner pretty much my entire life & have been dog/house sitting for years. I have experience with small breeds & large breeds, young & elderly. I love to play fetch with dogs & take them for nice long walks/hikes. I am a work from home mom so I have great flexibility in my schedule. I am available for overnights, check ins, walks, & can have 2 well behaved dogs in our home. I am available to bring in trash cans, water plants, bring in mail, pick up dog poop, administer medicine & care for other pets in your home. I work from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in my day to care for animals. We have plenty of space in our home and can easily accommodate 2 well behaved dogs. I have a fenced yard and live near a great regional park that I love to take dogs out on walks to. I have a teen and tween daughter who also love animals and especially like to play and cuddle with.

About: I have been around animals all my life, particularly big dogs. My family has always had big dogs (Bernese Mountain dogs and labradors), but I share the love with all sizes! Helping train our family dogs has also given me confidence not only in handling animals, but also the knowledge to ensure safe engagement with them and others. No animal is "problematic" they all just require (and deserve) specific attention and patience. I personally enjoy the company of animals, so it's a win-win if I get to hang out with your pet! I'm an active person and like to invite my furry friends along for fun too. I'll run with them to get out their zoomies, play fetch for hours, or go on nice long strolls along the neighborhood. I enjoy getting outside as much as the dog does, so this is a mutually beneficial experience! I work from home, typically schedule my own meetings, and have a flexible schedule! I enjoy getting out of my house to go on walks of my own, so its even better to have some furry company! I understand that life happens and sometimes we need extra support, even last minute. So I'm here to help out with all the things life throw our way. When interacting and engaging with animals, especially new ones, patience and slowness are my virtues. I understand animals and that you're doing your best for them. Whether they just need some love while you're away, or you want me to reinforce training that you're working on, I take your needs very seriously.

About: Experienced pet sitter. Experience with reactive dogs. Happy to give your dog extra care and attention. Fenced in front and back yard. Must be okay with another friendly dog in the home. I typically do a morning walk after breakfast, and a nighttime walk after dinner. If a dog is staying with me, I usually avoid middle of the day walks as the pavement outside can get hot on warmer days. However I do have a fenced in yard and a deck, which is cooler in the middle of the day if they would like to explore. I have a fenced in yard, and a metal crate is your dog is used to crate training. I have a 5 year old lab/ Shepard mix who loves to play, but could also keep him separated if requested. I have plenty of toys but you are also welcome to bring any toys with you, put they may get lost under our deck! Dogs are welcome on the furniture and just about anywhere as long as they are properly trained not to potty on furniture!

“Alexia has taken fantastic care of my 2 cats, and I can't recommend her enough! She's extremely responsible, and I trust her completely. My instructions were complicated since my cats have some special instructions, and she did every ask like a pro. I even felt comfortable enough leaving my pets with her while I was camping with zero cell service since I knew she'd be reliable. Another great aspect about Alexia is that she loves animals, so you can tell she's having a great time and animals pick up on that too. She also made sure to take pictures and send them to me, which I really really appreciated! It's a relief to know my fur babies are in good hands while I'm away, and I would definitely go back to Alexia again in the future!”

Monica follows Echo's medication schedule closely, and Echo always comes home tired after playing with Monica's friendly dog, Phoenix. Echo adores Monica, and I know she's in good hands!”

Noemi H.
“I can't recommend Noemi enough! From the moment we met, it was clear how much she genuinely cares for animals. I will never forget how she nursed her own pup when she was sick-even going as far as engineering a better way for her pup to eat safely. My own dogs forget I exist the minute Noemi walks into the door! She takes the time get to know your pet's personality, routines, and needs, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect when I was away. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind. When I came home, my pet was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. It’s such a relief to have someone so trustworthy and compassionate looking after my furry family member!”

“There are not enough good things to say about Krissy. Krissy has grown up with animals her entire life. She lives with dogs, cats, llamas and chickens. She cares for them all, and has a great, bubbly personality that is both kind and firm. She has helped me multiple times in training and grooming my dog, River, and with teaching my kids for to care for him. She knows about small pets, large pets, and everything in between! Logan F.
“Logan is an amazing caretaker for our dog. She does not take to every person she meets, but Logan has won her over completely. I know she will not even miss us when he is with her. He is very easy to get in touch with and he is thorough. He has even given her medications when she had an ear infection. He gives consistent updates and I know my pup will be in great hands with him.”

Marti F.
“I have trusted Marti with my dog for over 5 years. When I travel, I know that my pup is in good hands, and my routine I have with my dog will continue to be respected. When I come back, my dog is not exhausted like he was when I used to board him. This shows that he was well taken care of, and not stressed. My pup also eats at Marti’s, when he didn’t eat at his boarding kennel. I have nothing but good things to say about Marti as a sitter.”
