About: I started to help take care of my friends dogs when I moved in over a year ago. We have two small dogs that enjoy playing, barking and food. We spoil them and give medicine with their meals. The puppies are 7 and 15 I work part time and a have some free time and would love to help take care of other animals. About: Experienced pet sitter. Experience with reactive dogs. Happy to give your dog extra care and attention. Fenced in front and back yard. Must be okay with another friendly dog in the home. I typically do a morning walk after breakfast, and a nighttime walk after dinner. If a dog is staying with me, I usually avoid middle of the day walks as the pavement outside can get hot on warmer days. However I do have a fenced in yard and a deck, which is cooler in the middle of the day if they would like to explore. I have a fenced in yard, and a metal crate is your dog is used to crate training. I have a 5 year old lab/ Shepard mix who loves to play, but could also keep him separated if requested. I have plenty of toys but you are also welcome to bring any toys with you, put they may get lost under our deck! Dogs are welcome on the furniture and just about anywhere as long as they are properly trained not to potty on furniture!

I grew up on a farm, and we had 3-6 dogs at any given time. When I went to college, I adopted the first dog I would raise on my own -- he lived almost 15 happy years. I rescued another pup in my mid-thirties — he’s going on 7, and we’re best buds. So, I have experience taking care of puppies, seniors, and every age in between. This emotional reciprocation, along with adequate exercise and a healthy diet, makes for a happy, healthy dog.
