2. Berenice E.
“I was so worried that my cat would not like his babysitter or that she wouldn’t know how to take care of him the way I do but she did so much more then I could ask for I had a great vacation knowing my cat was in good hands wouldn’t know what to do without her”
3. Keith R.
About: My partner and I have adopted 5 dogs, because we fall in love with every dog. I know how to run and play with an energetic dog, or chill and cuddle with a calm dog. I’ve raised young puppies and big old dogs, so I have no issues cleaning up after them. In addition to my own pets, I have also watched many pets of all shapes and sizes for friends and family. I have a full-time 9-5 job, but I get up early and can visit or sit after work. I have weekends off, so I will have lots of time to visit, feed, sit or just hang out with pets. We are lucky enough to have a backyard and live in a quiet cul-de-sac, so we can run around outside or go for nice long walks.
4. Emily R.
“Emily was great. Our dog seemed happy and looked very pleased on the photos she sent. Will definitely use Emily again.”
5. Sydney Z.
“Cannot recommend Sydney enough! She was very reliable, and had great communication throughout the entire experience. My dog Lou just loved her. My dog can be a lot to handle, and is high energy. Sydney has the experience and calming energy that he needed. Thank you Sydney for being reliable, communicative, and caring!”
6. Sarah M.
“I feel so fortunate to have found Sarah on Rover! She looked after our cat while we were away and made us feel completely at ease. Each day I looked forward to reading her tender and thoughtful notes on his Rover card. She notices details that matter and that made a difference in giving me the peace of mind that our kitty was safe and happy. I highly recommend Sarah and will work with her again in the future!”
7. Holly D.
“Holly is delightful and an excellent pet & house sitter. She’s gentle with the dogs but firm when needed and ultra responsible paying close attention to their health and food intake. She has taken care of our three golden retrievers a number of times. I would recommend her to anyone!”
8. Alison F.
“Alison checked in on our dog Archie while we were gone for a few hours. She was prompt, sent a photo and remembered to put Archie in his crate when she left (per instructions). Archie can be very enthusiastic with new people and she wasn't phased at all. She also came for a pre-meet even though it was a bit of a drive for her.”
9. William B.
“William took excellent care of our dog Wallie while we were out of town for the weekend! Great updates and long walks.”
10. Jayden F.
“Jayden, Is hardworking, great with all types of animals. He spends time with them, walking and taking to the park to play ball and/or Frisbie. I have a high energy German Shepard that loves to play all the time and Jayden is a huge help, My dog is my baby and I would not leave him with just anyone. He loves Jayden and always gets excited to see him. Jayden is kindhearted, reliable and never late.”
11. Avery L.
“I’ve never met another person who I would trust with my pets more than Avery. Her love of animals and commitment to providing excellent care makes her the only pet sitter I’ll ever use! After some unfortunate experiences with doggy daycare which left our senior dog with a nasty case of kennel cough, we knew we had to find a better alternative. Avery was happy to fill that role! Our pets love her, and we can sleep easy knowing they’re safe under her care. 10/10 pet sitter. :)”
12. Leanna K.
“Leanna is an amazing person! She is responsible, professional, and hard working. I trust no one else but her to take care of my furry children!”
13. Marti F.
“I have trusted Marti with my dog for over 5 years. When I travel, I know that my pup is in good hands, and my routine I have with my dog will continue to be respected. When I come back, my dog is not exhausted like he was when I used to board him. This shows that he was well taken care of, and not stressed. My pup also eats at Marti’s, when he didn’t eat at his boarding kennel. I have nothing but good things to say about Marti as a sitter.”
14. Melissa W.
“Melissa is wonderful! 2 of our 3 dogs have different reactivity issues, and have had some of their “stranger danger” get worse between the pandemic and moving to Sonoma County. It’s a big relief to see our dogs resocializing and looking forward to interacting with new people”
15. Jamie L.
“Jamie is a wonderful pet sitter! I've had her watch my cats on multiple occassions now, and even my shy cat loves her! She is incredibly responsive to messages and bookings, and I always feel confident that my cats are getting great care while I'm gone. Highly recommend using Jamie!!”
16. Angelina A.
“Angelina was prompt with her responses, understood our situation, and communicated clearly about our pet's requirements. Looking forward to many more sits with her!”
17. Eliza G.
“I've known Eliza for many years, and would absolutely trust her with my pets and my home. Since I've known her, she's had dogs, cats, goats, sheep, and they have all been happy critters. Dogs have a special place in her heart, and I know she will take very good care of yours. I have no reservations about recommending Eliza to take care of your pet.”
18. Kyra E.
“Kyra is simply an expert Dog friend To know! She has a beautiful dog herself who she manages and allows to be herself in her exuberant way~ yet respectful of my small dogs needs when they are together. She has taught me so much about dog language what their behaviors and ways mean. I would absolutely give an absolute highest rating possible to Kyra as a responsible, kind, on time, understanding dog tender! She’s just a dependable knowledgable person. Tuck her number in your pocket! You’ll not regret it……”
19. Angela B.
“The decision about when and how to end your beloved pet's life is one of the most difficult ever. Angela is going through that process right now with her 16 year old dog. Emma cannot see or hear, has lost a lot of weight and probably has cancer. Emma does not seem to be in pain, but how can we know? Angela has tremendous empathy for all living things. She is responsible, caring and confident. Let her care for your pets as she has cared for Emma.”
20. Logan F.
“We used Logan as a pet sitter for a 16 day trip. We have a cat and an elderly dog that requires daily medication. Logan was wonderful with our pets and willing to work with our elderly terrier who can be quite the curmudgeon! Logan also took great care of our home, watering plants, gathering mail etc. Logan clearly loves animals and meets them where they are in terms of the care they need. Our cat is fairly independent but our dog likes company even though he can be grumpy. Logan hung out with him and made sure he was well taken care of. We would use Logan again in a heart beat!”
