About: I absolutely adore animals. They’ve been an integral part of my life for a long time! I’ve had many overnight jobs taking care of cats and dogs for family friends or neighbors. From changing the litter box regularly to taking the dog on long walks! I’ve dealt with many senior dogs and some puppies. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Now that I am retired, I have the time to share my lifelong love of dogs with both you and your furry family members. My experience goes far beyond pet ownership. While serving in the military, I had the privilege of working with dogs, which remains one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had. I was responsible for their daily care, training, exercise, and well-being, and my canine partner was by my side throughout the workday. After leaving the military, I continued working with dogs by teaching group obedience classes at PetSmart. I also worked at a board-and-train facility, where I trained dogs and then coached their owners on how to maintain and build upon that training at home. In addition, I provided private obedience lessons, helping dogs learn essential skills while teaching their humans how to communicate effectively and build strong, lasting relationships with their pets. My experience working with military dogs and training companion dogs has given me the confidence and skills to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, including those that may be shy, strong-willed, or require extra patience and understanding. Whether your dog needs a walk, companionship, exercise, or attentive care while you're away, you can trust that they will be treated with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I would give my own dog. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Now that I am retired, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to the dogs in my care. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so walks, playtime, and exercise are something I genuinely look forward to each day. Because I am not balancing a full-time job, I can provide consistent attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. About: New to Rover but not new to caring for others pets. I am genuine and loving towards all animals and will take exceptional care of yours each day! Being with them brightens my day! Dogs and cats like to sit/sleep on me a lot as you can see by my pictures :) I like to think it’s because they feel safe and trust me. My almost 5 year old son, Joseph, might be with me depending on the time of day. If my son being with me concerns you for any reason, I completely understand! This is far from his first time and rest assured that I will be the one handling your pets 😊 He’s had a job himself walking and feeding the neighbors dog 2-3 times a week for over a year! He knows what to do, how to respect someone else’s home, and how to behave. I am new to this app but I have fostered/walked/taken care of my neighbors/friends dogs and cats for the last 10 years while they are not home or aren’t able to care for their pets. I have fostered many pets and although I prefer to watch your pet in your home as they're most comfortable in their own surroundings, once I've sat for you, I'd be happy to consider watching your baby/babies in my home if I feel it's a fit. I just got done fostering a friends cat for 6 months because she had found a safe home them! Hooray! So our home is pet free at the moment. I believe great pet care starts with communication. I welcome any details about your pet’s routines, quirks, preferences, medications, or dietary needs…the more information, the better. I’m always happy to review written instructions and refer back to them as needed. I have a very flexible schedule as I am a stay at home mom to a sweet 4 year old. Any time Monday-Friday I can make work with a little bit of notice in advance. I am genuine and loving towards all animals and will take exceptional care of yours each day! About: Hi! I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with Australian Shepherds and Corgis, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and sizes. I’ve also dog-sat for a variety of dogs, including Pit Bulls, large breeds, small dogs, and very energetic pups. I understand that every dog has their own routine and personality, and I’m happy to adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise and playtime, a calm companion, or simply some extra attention while you’re away, I’m happy to provide it. I really enjoy building a bond with each animal and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while they’re with me! About: I’m the lady who crosses the street to ask if I can pet your dog. I love all dogs, but big dogs have my heart. I confess, I’m also the lady that will remember your dog’s name, age and origins, but perhaps not always your name. Although I have the confidence and experience to befriend your big dogs, that shouldn’t suggest that I don’t love our smaller friends, as well. Big and small, I love them all❣️ I’ve been responsible for animals most of my life. Chiefly, I’ve had the privilege to care and own big dogs. Growing up, we had a Sheppard-Mastiff mix, and that’s when my love for big dogs began. In our house, we had a macaw, cockatoo, kākāriki, ring-necked parakeet, and a cockatiel, tropical/ saltwater fish, dogs, and cats. I continue to be a proud breed ambassador and have owned 4 Rottweilers over the years. I’ve been gainfully employed as a civil servant for 25 years. After my last Rottweiler passed away, I wanted to care for a dog again, but haven’t adopted quite yet. I enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, walking and traveling, and of course dogs! I’ve had the privilege to care for our misunderstood and sometimes reactive dog friends, as well. All dogs deserve love. I helped welp Belgian Malinois puppies and ensure they found loving, deserving homes. I joke that, “If the choice was between world peace or puppies, I would choose puppies.” I can’t wait to meet your doggie! Since I’m a civil servant, my schedule is consistent. I have free nights and 3-day weekends. I enjoy a lot of free time that I would like to fulfill with dogs. I have a secured, fenced yard. I can also kennel your pets as well. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a young girl. One thing that will never get old is the bond you can create. I have worked with senior dogs, second chance animals in shelters, and even new born puppies. I have time and time again helped my friends and family train and look over their dogs. I work as a starbucks barista! My shift are usually short so I have more time for your pets! They are also very good about my availability! My pets at home are my babies. I always give them treats and make sure no matter what time I get home they have enrichment time.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. About: I have loved animals since I was a little kid, and I grew up surrounded by animals including a cat, two dogs, and a rabbit. As a teen, I was also a junior zookeeper for several years at my local wildlife refuge, helping to care for animals that couldn’t be released into the wild and also educating visitors on the importance of these animals and their natural habitats. For the last 10 years, I have had the pleasure of being the guardian of a sassy little tabby named Moon. I have also had the pleasure to housesit for some other furry friends when their humans were out of town. Currently have a pretty flexible schedule as long as I know a few days in advance what’s up 😊 Which is why I unfortunately can’t take same day bookings. At this time, I am unable to accommodate overnight housesitting requests where a pet cannot be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. I am committed to making sure that your furry family members are safe and well cared for while they are with me. Please communicate any known issues to me (things your pet likes to chew that they shouldn’t, medications they take, behavior issues, for instance) and in turn I will do my absolute best to keep them safe and report any possible issues immediately.

About: I have been providing dedicated pet‑sitting services for over 20 years, drawing on the experience of a 25‑year veterinary career during which I’ve owned and cared for many cats and dogs. Animals have always been at the center of my life. We recently said goodbye to our beloved 18‑year‑old kitty in August, and we currently share our home with a sweet 15‑year‑old cat and a lively 5‑year‑old rescue dog who keeps us smiling. I currently work full time Thursday through Monday starting around noon and off around 9. My schedule does fluctuate a bit based on the needs of my work I don't accept pet sitting at my house as I don't feel that is fair to my pets. I care for pet sitting jobs in their home, where I feel they are most comfortable. They are already without their family so it feels most natural for them to be in their home.
