Lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities, from Yorkies to Great Danes, cats, reptiles, and more. I’m currently a German Shepherd mom and have a strong understanding of large-breed dogs, working breeds, and dogs with more complex behavioral needs. I’m comfortable with reactive dogs and dogs trained with e-collars. I prioritize consistency, patience, and helping pets feel safe and understood in their environment. I also have experience caring for senior and medically complex pets, including cats with kidney failure, neurological issues, administering subcutaneous fluids, medications, and injections. In addition to dogs and cats, I’m comfortable caring for exotic pets, especially reptiles. Whether your pet needs an active, confident handler or gentle specialized care, I aim to provide dependable, personalized care tailored to their individual needs. 🏡 My house sitting usually includes 3-4 drop in visits each day ranging 1-3 hours each and overnight stay in your home as requested and agreed upon. Optionally, I can be at your home for potty breaks/feeding/walks first thing in the morning at an agreed upon time and will end the day tucking them into bed before I leave for the night.

I provide care in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I’m happy to follow any established care instructions, training protocols, medication schedules, feeding routines, or household guidelines to keep things as consistent and stress-free as possible for your pets. Depending on your pet’s needs and energy level, I can do neighborhood walks, enrichment activities, playtime, or outings for more active dogs. I aim to make pets feel safe, cared for, and comfortable while giving owners peace of mind that their animals are in capable and attentive hands.

Came to Healdsburg for a wedding and needed someone to help with my fur baby! Ashleigh was great coming over, walking her, giving her lots of love, posted a bunch of photos and even left me a cute printed one.
Ashleigh watched Cooper at our hotel while we attended a wedding . She is awesome. She immediately bonded with Cooper. He had so much fun with her. Highly recommend her.

Ashleigh from the first walk-through visit left me with confidence that my cat would be well taken care of but also gave me a peace of mind that he would be loved! Ashleigh is professional & thorough while also relaxed, respectful, kind and efficient. She is a person who goes above and beyond while taking care of your pet. While I was away there was an ant infestation where I place the food & water fountain and without a thought she took care of the situation immediately then communicated to me so I was aware. When I got home days later I could not tell it had ever happened. Kuddos to Ashleigh and much appreciation. I highly recommend Ashleigh and cannot praise her enough! My cat also let me know that he now has a BFF! 💕First time using Rover and know I will use them again.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I have a flexible work schedule and the ability to work remotely. I can accommodate walks and drop-in visits first thing in the morning, around lunch, in the early afternoon, or in the evening depending on your pet’s needs and routine. I enjoy building consistency and routine for pets so they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.
