“Caren was great! My dog seemed very happy there and she seemed to take great care of her. Her house is in a nice neighborhood and my dog’s age got a lot of good walks and visits to the dog park, etc. Would definitely recommend Caren!”

About: I’ve had pets in my life since childhood, growing up on a farm with dogs, cats, and horses. Caring for pets is second nature to me. Since moving to the U. S. 20 years ago, I’ve looked after friends and neighbors’ dogs, including diabetic and senior pups that need extra love and attention. I treat every dog like family, with patience, kindness, and genuine care. I’m a UCLA nursing student currently doing clinical hours only three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexible time throughout the day. That means I’m able to give your pet lots of attention, playtime, and long walks. Whether it’s daily check-ins or longer stays, I can easily fit pet care into my schedule and make sure your pup feels loved and cared for. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine so they stay comfortable and stress-free. In my home, I have a fenced yard and a beautiful neighborhood for walks. I also stick closely to their usual schedule. No matter the place, your pet gets consistent, loving care.

I have a small fenced yard with artificial grass, and there is a large park at the end of the street, two or three small parks in the neighborhood, and a 2-mile trail to downtown. I have whatever a dog needs but ideally, pets should arrive with their own favorite "furniture," toys, and treats.

“Kaitlin is the best. She took great care of our two cats, and definitely cared to go the extra mile. She took the time to come up with a way to get our veteran medicine-avoiding cat to take her meds by crushing a couple of kitty treats and covering the pill in it. She texted an update at each visit. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Now that I am retired, I have the time to share my lifelong love of dogs with both you and your furry family members. My experience goes far beyond pet ownership. While serving in the military, I had the privilege of working with dogs, which remains one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had. I was responsible for their daily care, training, exercise, and well-being, and my canine partner was by my side throughout the workday. After leaving the military, I continued working with dogs by teaching group obedience classes at PetSmart. I also worked at a board-and-train facility, where I trained dogs and then coached their owners on how to maintain and build upon that training at home. In addition, I provided private obedience lessons, helping dogs learn essential skills while teaching their humans how to communicate effectively and build strong, lasting relationships with their pets. My experience working with military dogs and training companion dogs has given me the confidence and skills to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, including those that may be shy, strong-willed, or require extra patience and understanding. Whether your dog needs a walk, companionship, exercise, or attentive care while you're away, you can trust that they will be treated with patience, kindness, and the same level of care I would give my own dog. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. Now that I am retired, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to the dogs in my care. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so walks, playtime, and exercise are something I genuinely look forward to each day. Because I am not balancing a full-time job, I can provide consistent attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. Whether your dog needs a walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, medication, playtime, or simply some extra love and attention while you're away, I have the time and flexibility to make sure their needs are met. I understand that pets thrive on routine, and I do my best to maintain the schedule and care your pet is accustomed to so they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. Because I provide dog walking and care in my clients' homes, I focus on maintaining your pet's normal routine and environment to help reduce stress and keep them comfortable. During walks, I use secure leashing practices, remain aware of our surroundings, and tailor the walk to your dog's age, energy level, and individual needs. In your home, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise requirements, and any special preferences or routines. I understand that trust is essential when caring for a family member, and I treat every pet and home with the same respect and attention I would expect for my own. I believe in clear communication and am happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

“Thank you Josephine for house sitting and taking care of my cats 🐈⬛🐈⬛. I have to say it was my first time ever getting a house sitter so I was a little nervous. I was away for two weeks and never felt so at peace knowing she was at my house with the boys! She sent me regular videos and photos. There was a big storm while I was gone. A huge branch fell in the backyard. Josephine handled it like a pro by communicating with me and coordinating with the neighbors. I came back to an impeccable house and happy boys 🐈⬛🐈⬛. She’s a pro 🩵 I will absolutely contact Josephine again in the future. Total peace of mind. Thank you tons Josephine!”

About: My wife and I have taken care of many dogs throughout our lives as dogs bring us deep joy and satisfsction in life. Dogs I have taken care of are Yorkie, Chihuahuas, Westie, Shiba Inu mix, Labrador Retriever( hunting dog), Shih Tzus, Husky mix and more. My partner has taken care of a wide of variety dogs, cats, and other pets as well. Our love for dogs always want us to treat and care for them as best as possible. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who I love like he is a family member and I hope I can bring that level of care to other dogs I have to care for. I have also taken care of senior dogs in the past. Taking care of people's dogs does not feel like a job to us, rather a joyful and fun experience for us both! I'm Pet First Aid/CPR certified through American Health Training. I understand the procedure on how to properly handle dogs from all sizes who are choking, poisoned, unresponsive, how to check vitals and perform CPR if necessary. The training gives me the best understanding and preparation on how to best handle a pet emergency. My wife is also knowledgeable of CPR/ Pet First Aid Care as I taught her what I learned from the course as we both find it really important to care not only for the pet's needs, but be best prepared for an pet emergency. Even with all the demands of life, we always give dogs under my care a lot of attention and have all their needs met! If I have to leave the house for whatever reason, my wife will give her attention to caring for the dogs as we love working as a team to care for our furry animals. If there are any dogs we care for that have separation anxiety issues, we can make sure to give that dog always has company! I live in a two story house with a small backyard that is fenced. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who loves people and has gotten along well with other dogs in the same household. My dog is not one to try to make friends with other dogs as he does not like dogs coming up to him and in his space, but he can get along well with dogs of similar size or bigger dogs with time and has been in situations where he got along fine with mulitple dogs in a house. My house is spacious so there is plenty of room for the dogs to move about. We have multiple rooms and a dog gate where they can be comfortable if difficulties come up with getting along. I currently live with my wife and two parents as all three are dog lovers who are highly experienced with pet care, so in case I need to leave the house for errands or other needs, my wife can provide attention to the pet if need be as the pet can always have supervision. I will be home very often so I can take out the dog frequently and I live close to a park that's great for walking, and our neighborhood is very safe and plenty of places for walking. The dogs will always have access to fresh and clean water in the house. I will be very attentive to the pet's needs and be very sure they are well taken care of and comfortable under my care😊.

I also cared for a high energy good boy for years and love keeping puppies of all kinds happy and healthy in the best ways for them My schedule is currently open while waiting to begin full time work at the end of the summer, very flexible! Getting out for daily walks is already part of my routine so would love to incorporate your pup into it! I have great situational awareness and will get used to your home and safety measures YOU prioritize for your pup and their individual needs. Any accommodations you require I will abide by to ensure the safety of your home and your dog
“Laura is getting to know Yogee and also getting better at walking him. He is a energetic puppy and needs a good well paced walk. She is very patient with him which is lovely as he is slowly adapting to her. I hope to have her walk Yogee more in the future. She was very helpful and even started using the Rover cards. She is a really nice person.”

About: I have pet sit several dogs at a time and have experience with senior dogs. These senior dogs have needed both liquid and pill medication which I have familiarized myself with providing. I currently am working remote and can complete work from anywhere under a flexible schedule. If hired pet care would be my number one responsibility. I believe that animals deserve lots of love, care and attention. I would treat your animals the same way I would treat my own and make sure they are happy, healthy and well taken care of.
“Ashley is professional, timely and a lovely person who I trust with the care of my dog. She takes her time with my older dog and you can tell she has a passion and connection when it comes to caring for animals. Very grateful to have found her!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors for several years. I’m comfortable feeding, walking, playing, cleaning litter boxes, giving lots of attention, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m reliable, patient, and truly love animals of all personalities and sizes. I’m back home from college for the summer, so I have a flexible/ open schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m also looking to make some extra money doing something I genuinely enjoy, which is spending time and caring for animals! I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs, including feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, calm, and comfortable in their own environment. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requests. I’m very attentive to pets’ behavior and needs, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
“Emma is fantastic! Oakley loves her and she really goes the extra mile to be helpful ?! I had to be gone into the night once and Emma stayed with Oakley for a couple of hours just snuggling!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have fostered and cared for dozens of senior dogs at Muttville in SF. I also just said goodbye toy wonderful foster fail 2 Chainz who crossed the rainbow bridge in November. I live close to a lovely park with a great community of dog walkers. I have experience with puppies, elderly dogs (17 years) and pit bulls. I work from home so all dogs get constant attention! I prioritize time outside and walks. I love making dogs feel as safe and comfortable adjusting to a new schedule and location! I have a pretty standard feeding and walk schedule. I've fostered quite a bit and have lots of experience helping dogs feel welcome, calm, loved and safe in their new surroundings.
About: I’ve taken care of animals all shapes and sizes for more than 7+ years. Owning two of my own and plenty more before, each animal has been treated with love, compassion, care, and plenty of treats! I have also taken care of animals with special needs and health concerns. I am currently working part time for the Town of Windsor. My schedule varies but I typically am available from 1:30pm to 6pm. I am open for morning hours on Mondays! I care for all my pets with compassion and heart. If need, I do have a fenced yard which allows for safety of your animal or any animal in need.

About: Hi! I’m an HR professional by trade, but outside of work I’m a devoted dog and cat mom and lifelong animal lover. I recently moved from Sacramento to Sonoma County with my two rescue dogs and am excited to connect with fellow pet parents in the community. Dogs have always been such an important part of my life—not just as pets, but as family. Over the years, I’ve cared for my own dogs, fostered pups, and helped friends and family care for theirs. One of my favorite experiences was working at the Sacramento SPCA for about a year, which deepened my appreciation for every dog’s unique personality and reinforced how meaningful quality pet care can be. When your pet is with me, my goal is simple: I want them to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for—just like they would at home. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, extra snuggles, or a slower pace, I’ll adjust to what makes them happiest. Life gets busy—whether you’re traveling, working long hours, managing family life, or just need an extra hand—and I’d love to help make things easier while giving your fur baby the attention they deserve. Big or small, energetic or laid back, I can’t wait to meet your best friend.

“Our dog had a wonderful stay! Alexis took great care of him in her home, sent updates and photos, and it was clear he was comfortable and happy the whole time. We felt at ease knowing he was in such good hands. We will absolutely book with her again — thank you for taking such great care of Chauncey! :)”

“Earl was great to work with! He is easy going and great with animals. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely recommend this provider and we will surely be using him again in the future.”

“Had a really good experience with Patricia while we were in out of town. She was reliable, easy to communicate with, and took great care of Bo while we were away. We appreciated the updates and knowing she was being looked after. It made traveling a lot less stressful, and we came home to a happy dog. Would definitely use her and her nice family again!”

“Sarah was great from start to finish! Awesome and quick communication, super punctual for dropoff and pickup, and sent many photos of our pup enjoying her time with her. Will definitely book again!”

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.
“Caren was great! My dog seemed very happy there and she seemed to take great care of her. Her house is in a nice neighborhood and my dog’s age got a lot of good walks and visits to the dog park, etc. Would definitely recommend Caren!”

“Couldn’t be happier with our experience with Marina. She was very kind and accommodating. She took great care of Finn and took him for walks. It was so nice to get pictures and videos. It was easy to communicate.”

About: I will spoil your dog with attention and provide you with complete peace of mind. You can rest assured that your dog is safe and happy and getting the care you specify (such as health needs or special diet) and the love your dog wants (games, walks, toys, treats, hugs, and other canine amusements). My work is part-time, online, and at my own pace, so I can easily shift my attention to your dog's needs for walks and playtime. I have a small fenced yard with artificial grass, and there is a large park at the end of the street, two or three small parks in the neighborhood, and a 2-mile trail to downtown. I have whatever a dog needs but ideally, pets should arrive with their own favorite "furniture," toys, and treats.
“Very happy with Jennifer looking after our dog. She took great photos of him and sent us updates of his stay. We just picked him up and he's one happy and very tired dog! We will definitely have her look after him again. Highly recommend!”

“Susan was an amazing caretaker for Ryder this past weekend! She took him on several fun walks and made it feel like a little vacation for him. We loved receiving her updates and adorable photos throughout his stay. Ryder was clearly very well cared for, and we would absolutely love to have Susan help with him again in the future.”

“I was warried leaving my shy dog but Lynette's experience was so valuable. She shared how Moorea felt comfortable after we left text and sent photos throughout the day. She knew exactly what to do with a shy dog and this saves so much time. It was a great experience and will be booking our vacation soon. My dog loves big dog and her dog Tori was so well behaved and sweet around Moorea.”

“Melissa was so thoughtful and kind to both Daisy and I. It was our first time leaving Daisy since we adopted her. Melissa took the time to let us visit her home for a meet-and -greet and sniffs of her property a few days before Daisy’s stay. Melissa was so thoughtful and attentive to Daisy’s needs. I have no doubt that Daisy is in good hands with Melissa .”
