About: I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs through having our own family dog and looking after other people’s pets. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and providing plenty of love and attention. I’ve cared for dogs with different personalities and understand the importance of being patient, attentive, and adapting to each dog’s individual needs. My priority is always making sure every pup feels safe, happy, and comfortable in my care. Hi there! I know that dogs are so much more than pets-they’re family. After losing our beloved family dog, we experienced firsthand just how much love, joy, and happiness a furry companion brings into a home. While no dog could ever replace the special place ours holds in our hearts, we still have so much love to give, and caring for other dogs has become a beautiful way to share that love. I’m based in Santa Rosa and work from home, which allows me the flexibility to provide companionship, attention, and personalized care throughout the day. Whether your pup enjoys walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply relaxing with someone nearby, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely loved. There’s something so special about seeing the happiness dogs bring into our home. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Your dog may be visiting us for just a little while, but they’ll be welcomed with all the love and warmth of family. My children share my love for dogs, and while they enjoy having furry visitors around, I personally handle all pet care and responsibilities. Any interactions with my children are always supervised by me. I also offer morning and evening and weekend drop-in visits.

About: I've owned my own dog walking and boarding business for 8 years, have worked with dogs full time for 10 and have chosen to work and volunteer alongside animals from the moment I had the opportunity as a young teen. It is important to me that the dogs in my care are fulfilled. All dogs are taken on daily walks and provided with off leash social time in my yard. I am behavior savvy, cultivate structure through routine and boundary setting, and love to let dogs' personalities shine. My partner and I have a 6 month old mini Aussie, Otis, and he loves to host as well. I require that dogs are friendly with other dogs, crate trained and have leash manners. My "full-time" work is to provide for the dogs in my care- whether they are boarding, daycare dogs, or walking clients. This includes daily (and sometimes twice daily) group walks and off leash social time with my personal dog and whomever else is on the schedule. Sometimes we hike, explore a separate large fenced property or visit the beach-it all depends on how many dogs I have and what their temperaments are. I take relationship building with my clients (both human and dog) very seriously. It takes time to build comfort and trust. I prefer to have a short client list, an intimate group of dogs, and a relaxed and familiar flow throughout our day to day. I love to have extended stay boarding dogs, and have several clients who travel multiple months out of the year. I do not take one-time weekend boarding dogs. It is a lot of work up front to get new clients familiarized with our routine, comfortable & relaxed in the environment, and introduced to all of the regulars. A final note: I love shy/awkward dogs, senior dogs, and working with (most) young puppies. I struggle with highly anxious & hyperactive dogs and they are not the best fit for my environment and personality.

From our meet and greet, Emily asked a lot of very good questions like what habits we allowed and did not allow, what kinds of updates we needed, whether we allowed her to wear her harness when not on a leash, etc. Emily seemed to have a strong background in training young dogs. Their dog Chaka seemed to play with Chloe all day and tired her out. Chloe went home very tired and very happy. While we were stressed about packing and forgot our mini white noise machine, Emily offered to lend us hers. We received frequent photo updates, and Chloe was always very happy in the photos. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young and have been around dogs my whole life. I’ve had my own dog, Simba, since March 2021, and he’s very much part of my family. I genuinely enjoy having dogs around and getting to know their different personalities. I’m home full-time, so I’m able to give pets a lot of attention and company throughout the day. I enjoy going on walks, playing, hanging out, and just having a dog around while I go about my day. I’m also someone who pays attention to the little details and will make sure your pet’s normal routine is followed. I know leaving your dog with someone else requires trust. I’ll treat your pet with the same care and patience I’d want someone to give Simba. I’m happy to send updates and photos while you’re away, and I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, affection, and care. I’d love to meet your pup and hopefully become someone they’re excited to see! I work from home full-time, so I have a flexible schedule and am around the house throughout the day. I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, take them for walks, and keep them company rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I already have a regular routine with my own dog, Simba, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to fit each pet’s individual needs and routine. I’ll be caring for pets in my home, where I have a fenced yard that gives dogs a safe place to get outside, play, and explore. I’m home full-time, so pets will have plenty of supervision and company throughout the day. I’ve had my own dog, Simba, since 2021 and have been around dogs my whole life. I’m very attentive to their behavior and individual needs, and I’m careful about things like doors, gates, food, and making sure they’re comfortable in a new environment. My goal is for your dog to feel like they’re staying with a friend rather than being somewhere unfamiliar. I’ll follow their usual routine as closely as possible and keep you updated with photos and messages so you know they’re happy and doing well.
