“Excellent! I really appreciated Holly's concern for Gray and extra search efforts in getting my wayward cat back into the house, after I foolishly let her out before my trip. Holly became good friends with Gray, gave her lots of affection and noticed issues with Gray's cat food which I had not. Holly also offered to evacuate Gray if needed during the recent Sonoma County fires. I recommend Holly to anyone who wants a caring and conscientious pet sitter. She did a wonderful job :-)”

About: Hello, pet parents! 🐾 We live in Sebastopol, CA and visit my dad who is a retired local doctor in Warwick, NY..in October 2026.. I’m Ariel, grew up locally and lived and traveled the world, now happily home. I sometimes come with my daughter, Ella who is a 10 year old cat/animal whisperer, and very occasionally with Swedish husband, Mats (also background checked:). I offer drop-in visits for feeding, cuddle/play time+ for cats and dogs+, and dog walking in Sebastopol. *I also offer overnight pet/house sitting in the Warwick, NY area when I’m visiting family (see my October 2026 calendar), and occasionally in Sonoma county. *A little Rover note: I joined Rover a couple of years ago and was just getting started when a family illness shifted my attention and priorities for quite a while. *I’m now back and happily opening availability again.( I did continue care for animals/animal parents that had already been under my care, outside of Rover, during that time, and I’m looking forward to building my Rover community up, too:). I have a soft spot for animals who need a little extra understanding—shy, nervous, cautious, quirky, young, older, escape-prone, or simply very particular! I pay attention to their signals and let them show me what they need. I’m often the person who ends up with a cautious cat or dog coming to sit at my feet—even when they don’t usually approach new people. 😊 I’ve grown up with and cared for animals my whole life, and our family currently includes a much-loved part-ocelot rescue cat. *Your pet’s comfort, safety and happiness are my priority while you’re away. I’m always the primary responsible caregiver. My husband Mats (also on Rover and background - checked) and occasionally our animal-loving cat whispering 10-year-old daughter Ella join me, yet only when you agree and your pets are comfortable with it. I’m warm, attentive, patient and playful—yet, equally happy to give an animal the quiet space they need. With the exception of some school drop-off and pick-up times for my daughter, I’m available for loving up, walking, etc. at/from your home or in your neighborhood, as well as some in-home daycare/visits or, occasionally, at our house where we have our cat. I enter gently, calling your pet’s name so they know I’m there, and slowly open doors/gates to help keep escape artists safely inside:)). Having grown up with cats, dogs, ducks, rabbits, birds and more, I understand that every animal has their own temperament, personality and preferences—including how they like (or don’t like) to be picked up, held and approached. Getting to know each other with care is a priority. Through living, traveling and working around the world, I’ve cared for animals in many different kinds of homes and environments. I’ve also had our own pet sitters/carers, giving me firsthand experience of what it’s like to entrust someone with your beloved animals and home. Your home and pet(s) are in good hands. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a young girl. One thing that will never get old is the bond you can create. I have worked with senior dogs, second chance animals in shelters, and even new born puppies. I have time and time again helped my friends and family train and look over their dogs. I work as a starbucks barista! My shift are usually short so I have more time for your pets! They are also very good about my availability! My pets at home are my babies. I always give them treats and make sure no matter what time I get home they have enrichment time.

About: I am a dog mom of four boys: Neville, Perrin, Duke, and Reggie. I have watched dogs/cats/rodents/fish for family/friends for years of all ages and sizes. I love spending time with animals, and look forward to going out on walks/hikes, or to the park to throw a ball around. I am a GIS Analyst who loves the outdoors, animals, exercise, and laughing. I even have a tattoo that says "All I want is to pet all of the dogs"! I have experience with dog walking, and sitting both in my own home and staying at the pet's homes. I'd love the opportunity to let your pooch stretch their legs and get some play time in while their person(s) are unavailable. I work from home, love going on multiples outings each day, and fully believe that everything is better with a pet with you to enjoy it as well! I have a fenced yard, live in a fairly quiet neighborhood, and have four dogs of my own. In my own home, I will treat all dogs as my own. About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm most weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Mondays and Thursdays, but have flexibility to accommodate if your pet cannot be alone for 8 hours. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your pet’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access.

About: I’ve been caring for friends and neighbors dogs for years now. I’ve never had the opportunity to have a dog myself so I live vicariously through taking care of others dogs! I’m currently a college student and I’m available to work weekends and even nights. Right now I’m on summer break so my availability is pretty open! I’m very flexible with what is best for the dog/for the client in their home. I’ll make sure the dog won’t be able to get out and will keep a watchful eye.

About: I’m a dog person and am experienced with all kinds of dogs in all phases of life! Exercise, stability and love seems to be golden. I aim to keep a pet’s home routine for feeding and walks that they are used to. I’m consistent with feeding, meds and all specific instructions. I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.
