Loving Care For All
Since childhood I have had a special place in my heart for dogs, birds, rabbits, freshwater and tropical fish, snakes, hamsters and geckos, all of which I have loved over the years as pets. I have also cared for friends and clients horses, lambs, pigs, chickens, parrots, boas, cats, dogs and bearded dragons. I enjoyed my favorite childhood moments at peace in the forests, farmland and equestrian schools and ranches. I helped to train a friend’s large breed rescue dog to stay back and sit so that one could more easily enter or leave the home. I like to have good boundaries with animals and allow or facilitate what the owner and pet needs. I also consider plants to be just as important to care for as animals.

I provide care for pets in the safety of the familiar surroundings of their owners home and neighborhood, with respect for their home spaces, routines, schedules, and needs: offering overnight sitting, walks and daily care drop ins.

Elika was perfect for our Puma! She checked in with me every visit with details of Puma's feeding, water and pee and pooh activity. Elika was responsible, respectful and cautious in our home. We arrived home to our well cared for pet, that was happy to see us! When we need a sitter for Puma, Elika is the sitter for us!! Thanks again for your service, Jill
Elika was amazing- 5 stars! She came to meet my pups and family ahead of the booking. Elika took care of my two senior dogs and treated them so well. I came home to calm and happy dogs, felt like I had only been away for a bit which was so great. Elika dealt with my senior guys and while quite lovable, one of them had multiple daily meds and the other senior guy has accidents in the home, as they are 14 and 15. Elika informed me when pee pads were low and I was super happy to come home to a covered floor with pee pads and a towel for the rain, very thoughtful. The house was cleaner than when I left, all the towels laundered, dishes washed, counters cleaned, floors vacuumed and swept and the mail taken in. and Elika worked hard at cleaning up after the first dog sitter who unfortunately left the house in disarray. Really appreciate the extra effort to clean up after someone else unexpectedly and the extra communication which I missed initially but sorted out in the end. Elika was amazing for our in-house stay with our senior dogs. Highly recommend!!! Thank you so very much and we hope to see you again. With barks and wags from the boys.
Elika is wonderful. She takes such good care of my pup Finn, all my plants (and there are a lot), and the home -- leaving everything as good if not better than when I left. I highly recommend her services.
Elika was professional, reliable and attentive. I would recommend her without reservation.
We have hired Elika several times to watch our home and pets for days up to 2 weeks per stay. She has consistently taken good care of our home and plants as well as our dog who is always in good spirits when we arrive home. We will definitely ask Elika to watch our dog and home again.

Schedule
I have a somewhat flexible weekly routine offering: + Drop-Ins (Mon-Sun) + House Sitting 1-7days or longer; may be arranged to provide full time in home care if/when I have no other daily bookings. + Walks 30 min (longer = adjusted rate) daily. + Please chat with me for detailed scheduling as my routines are subject to change.
