About: I live all first friends and critters! From caring for young puppies learning potty training to senior kitties with medical needs, I feel comfortable learning the best way to help your loved ones feel safe and comfortable☮️ sometimes a pet wants to run and play and sometimes they want to just share some quiet time from a distance, the best way to care for a pet is to read their body language! I work full time but have lots of time on weekends for pet care! Dog walks are best for me during the week but weekends afford me more time for longer visits. I take safely and security very seriously. It is absolutely imperative to me to follow owners instructions with care and attention to detail. I would never take a risk with a pet and my full attention is on your loved one during the visit.

About: Hello, pet parents! 🐾 We live in Sebastopol, CA and visit my dad who is a retired local doctor in Warwick, NY..in October 2026.. I’m Ariel, grew up locally and lived and traveled the world, now happily home. I sometimes come with my daughter, Ella who is a 10 year old cat/animal whisperer, and very occasionally with Swedish husband, Mats (also background checked:). I offer drop-in visits for feeding, cuddle/play time+ for cats and dogs+, and dog walking in Sebastopol. *I also offer overnight pet/house sitting in the Warwick, NY area when I’m visiting family (see my October 2026 calendar), and occasionally in Sonoma county. *A little Rover note: I joined Rover a couple of years ago and was just getting started when a family illness shifted my attention and priorities for quite a while. *I’m now back and happily opening availability again.( I did continue care for animals/animal parents that had already been under my care, outside of Rover, during that time, and I’m looking forward to building my Rover community up, too:). I have a soft spot for animals who need a little extra understanding—shy, nervous, cautious, quirky, young, older, escape-prone, or simply very particular! I pay attention to their signals and let them show me what they need. I’m often the person who ends up with a cautious cat or dog coming to sit at my feet—even when they don’t usually approach new people. 😊 I’ve grown up with and cared for animals my whole life, and our family currently includes a much-loved part-ocelot rescue cat. *Your pet’s comfort, safety and happiness are my priority while you’re away. I’m always the primary responsible caregiver. My husband Mats (also on Rover and background - checked) and occasionally our animal-loving cat whispering 10-year-old daughter Ella join me, yet only when you agree and your pets are comfortable with it. I’m warm, attentive, patient and playful—yet, equally happy to give an animal the quiet space they need. With the exception of some school drop-off and pick-up times for my daughter, I’m available for loving up, walking, etc. at/from your home or in your neighborhood, as well as some in-home daycare/visits or, occasionally, at our house where we have our cat. I work and care with responsibility, loving awareness, kindness and attention to your home, yard, gardens, gates and environment. I enter gently, calling your pet’s name so they know I’m there, and slowly open doors/gates to help keep escape artists safely inside:)). We’ll enjoy time together in or outside according to the moment, your instructions, their energy, health and the plan. Having grown up with cats, dogs, ducks, rabbits, birds and more, I understand that every animal has their own temperament, personality and preferences—including how they like (or don’t like) to be picked up, held and approached. Getting to know each other with care is a priority. Through living, traveling and working around the world, I’ve cared for animals in many different kinds of homes and environments. I’ve also had our own pet sitters/carers, giving me firsthand experience of what it’s like to entrust someone with your beloved animals and home. Your home and pet(s) are in good hands. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life, and I also grew up raising chickens and quail. I have 1 dog/cat loving dog named Rupert and 1 cat named Panda. I’m a registered nurse during the week, so I’m very comfortable administering medications and injections. I’ve previously house-sat for a diabetic dog and have experience providing attentive care for senior dogs and cats with medical needs. I have a special place in my heart for rescue animals and have dedicated a lot of time to training my own dog, Rupert. I’m committed to providing compassionate, reliable, and high-quality care—and I look forward to treating your pets like part of my own family. I work full-time as an RN, with three 12-hour shifts each week, which gives me two weekdays off and every weekend free. I spend a lot of my time walking my dog, Rupert, and if your pup is friendly, I’d love to include them for walks and positive socialization. If your dog prefers their own space, that’s absolutely fine too. I’m just as committed to providing calm, one-on-one attention and have plenty of experience caring for dogs who aren’t especially social. I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly, dog- and cat-social dog at home. My cat is comfortable around dogs, though he can be a bit selective with new cats. Pets are welcome on the furniture and even the bed—this is a home-away-from-home environment. If your pup prefers their own space, that’s no problem at all. I have multiple dog beds throughout the house and plenty of room for a crate if that’s what they’re used to. I’ve dedicated a lot of time to training my current dog, Rupert, and I’ve only ever owned rescue animals, so I understand the patience, structure, and consistency they need to feel safe and thrive. For walks, I always come prepared with freeze-dried treats to reinforce positive behavior and make the experience fun and rewarding.

About: I’m a dog person and am experienced with all kinds of dogs in all phases of life! Exercise, stability and love seems to be golden. I aim to keep a pet’s home routine for feeding and walks that they are used to. I’m consistent with feeding, meds and all specific instructions. I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.

I was away for two weeks and never felt so at peace knowing she was at my house with the boys! She sent me regular videos and photos. There was a big storm while I was gone. A huge branch fell in the backyard. Josephine handled it like a pro by communicating with me and coordinating with the neighbors. I came back to an impeccable house and happy boys 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛. About: I’ve walked, cared for and raised more animals than I can count, I’d love to help with any pet needs! From Pointers to Pit Bulls, to Yorkies! Always willing to run, walk and play with your pets! I like to go on walks and/or runs for Cardio and like to have the company. About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs.
