About: I have been a nurse for 22 years. I am in school again and at home with my 17 lb dog all the time. I have cared for dogs my whole life and taken care of my friends dogs while they travel for as along as I can remember. I have a large fenced in back yard and a dog door. I am easily able to handle medication and medications schedules. My dog loves to play with other dogs and I am hoping to find regulars who would like frequent care so she can have her friends over! I am in school full time via an online program so I am home a tremendous amount. There will be a few days a week that I go into a clinic for 8 hours but most days and nights I am home. We go on nightly walks as well. There is a large fenced yard and in general the back door is open and my dog goes in and out as she wishes! I am very flexible!

“Ashleigh was the absolute best! She took wonderful care of our two cats, and they absolutely loved her. Even our very timid cat wouldn’t get off her lap, which says everything about how comfortable she felt with her. We loved getting updates while we were away and knew they were in great hands. We’d definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve never lived in a home without a cat! Cats have been in my life since I can remember, and I love them so much. I’ve taken care of them since I was a child, including all of my own cats, past and present, as well as the strays outdoors & my neighbors’ & friends’ cats!

“Excellent! I really appreciated Holly's concern for Gray and extra search efforts in getting my wayward cat back into the house, after I foolishly let her out before my trip. Holly became good friends with Gray, gave her lots of affection and noticed issues with Gray's cat food which I had not. Holly also offered to evacuate Gray if needed during the recent Sonoma County fires. I recommend Holly to anyone who wants a caring and conscientious pet sitter. She did a wonderful job :-)”

“Did Such a great job! I really appreciated that she was willing to come and watch our little oli on such short notice and she was super communicative and kept me updated!”

“Michael was fantastic. He gave us regular updates and went above and beyond with providing care to our cats. We would love to work with him again in the future.”

About: I’m the lady who crosses the street to ask if I can pet your dog. I love all dogs, but big dogs have my heart. I confess, I’m also the lady that will remember your dog’s name, age and origins, but perhaps not always your name. Although I have the confidence and experience to befriend your big dogs, that shouldn’t suggest that I don’t love our smaller friends, as well. Big and small, I love them all❣️ I’ve been responsible for animals most of my life. Chiefly, I’ve had the privilege to care and own big dogs. Growing up, we had a Sheppard-Mastiff mix, and that’s when my love for big dogs began. In our house, we had a macaw, cockatoo, kākāriki, ring-necked parakeet, and a cockatiel, tropical/ saltwater fish, dogs, and cats. I continue to be a proud breed ambassador and have owned 4 Rottweilers over the years. I’ve been gainfully employed as a civil servant for 25 years. After my last Rottweiler passed away, I wanted to care for a dog again, but haven’t adopted quite yet. I enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, walking and traveling, and of course dogs! I’ve had the privilege to care for our misunderstood and sometimes reactive dog friends, as well. All dogs deserve love. I helped welp Belgian Malinois puppies and ensure they found loving, deserving homes. I joke that, “If the choice was between world peace or puppies, I would choose puppies.” I can’t wait to meet your doggie! Since I’m a civil servant, my schedule is consistent. I have free nights and 3-day weekends. I enjoy a lot of free time that I would like to fulfill with dogs. I have a secured, fenced yard. I can also kennel your pets as well. My responsibility to you is ensuring your family member is secure in my charge.
“Amanda was very punctual, gave great updates and took a lot of photos, which made us feel at ease when we were away! Our cats seemed totally normal when we got home. Thank you Amanda!”

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover with a flexible schedule and a deep love for exploring the outdoors. I raised my dog from a puppy and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! I specialize in active walks and hikes for dogs who love to get out and explore- I like to work with a single dog at a time so I can really get to know them and develop strong communication with them. I know all the best dog-friendly spots in the area: Laguna de Santa Rosa, Riverfront Regional Park, Taylor Mountain, and the local bike trails. For older dogs, I'm happy to take it easy with gentle neighborhood strolls. I've also managed complicated medication routines for dogs in treatment, so I'm comfortable with pets who need extra care, need drop in visits, and I love cats too! I use positive reinforcement techniques and am comfortable with pets of most energy levels and temperaments. Whether your pup needs a trail adventure, your senior dog needs patient care, your cat needs some company, or you just need a reliable check-in, I'd love to help. My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate last-minute requests, early mornings, or evenings—whatever works best for you and your pet. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust, my doggo was my world. I would love to be there for your pet! I work from home as a freelancer and can accommodate most requests on weekdays, sometimes I can also pick up work on weekends. I walk everyday, rain or shine and love to bring happy dogs on the trail! In My Home: I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. I maintain a calm, safe environment and follow your established routines as closely as possible—from feeding schedules to playtime preferences. For dogs, I provide plenty of exercise through walks or hikes suited to their energy level, and I'm always attentive to their comfort and body language. I keep pets secure with leashed walks, and I'm vigilant about potential hazards both indoors and on trails. For pets on medication or special diets, I follow instructions carefully and keep detailed notes. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. Since I work from home, the pet is with me 24/7, with only short breaks if I need to go do an errand - in which case we use a crate. In Your Home: I respect your home as I would my own. I follow all your instructions for feeding, medication, routines, and house rules. I keep things tidy, secure doors and windows, and ensure your pet stays safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, or adjust lighting to give your home a lived-in feel while you're away. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates and am always available if questions come up. My goal is to make the transition seamless for both you and your pet.

“Micki exceeded our expectations. We were confident leaving our fur babes in her hands. She’s was respectful of our place and her style of communication was prompt and dependable. So thankful we found Micki!”

“Gina always makes me feel at ease when I travel because I know my cats are well taken care of. She’s very communicative and punctual! She also gave my kitty his medication, which I was so appreciative of. Gina’s the best, definitely recommend her.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for cats and have become the go-to cat sitter for an entire family of cat owners. I’ve cared for their cats numerous times over the years, and I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality, routine, and preferences. Whether your cat wants playtime and attention or prefers a little space, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’ve even won over cats who now make a beeline for my lap—or decide my face is the perfect place to sleep! I provide dependable, loving care and want your cat to feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I was also a proud cat mom to three wonderful cats of my own, who have sadly since crossed the Rainbow Bridge. They gave me years of experience with all the quirks, personalities, cuddles, and care that come with loving cats—and I have plenty of that love left to share with yours. ❤️

“Melissa is a star and our cat loved her. Our cat is diabetic and needed insulin shots, which Melissa took care of with ease. She sends lovely updates and keeps a keen eye on your fur babies, even if it’s a quick drop-in session. We were hoping to find a regular pet-sitter and are so glad we found Melissa!”

“This should really be at least 10 stars. Julie is a true professional. She clearly loves animals and orivided such loving care. Iline if the most difficult things anout my recent move to California was finding care for the cats when we travel. Pip especially needs extra TLC and must be medicated daily. Julie quickly got through the business of the day and spent some quality time each day with the “kids.” Couldn’t be happier!”

“Bella took great care of my shy cats, and was even able to bring them out of their shells. She always showed up on time and sent pictures. I will try to book her for next time!”

About: Your cat’s tail says it all:). When it’s twitching, I’m exploring what’s happening in the moment—and what comes next for your kitty’s peace, joy and play:). Hi, I’m Ariel, born and raised locally:). I’ve always had and loved cats. I connect with care and awareness, appreciating your cat(s) exactly as they are—silly, sweet, calm, clever, grumpy, scared or friendly:). Cuddler to growler, nervous or playful, I’m there with care (didn’t mean to rhyme:)). As a Voice & Transitions Wellness Guide for people, spectrum families, elders and animals, I pay special attention to what is present in the moment for both you and your pet. Every cat has unique needs, signals and temperament, and I love getting to know them. Occasionally, when OK with you pets, I may work together with my careful, mature daughter/cat whisperer, who is magical with animals, including senior cats. I am always 100% responsible, attentive and present during all care. Cats have always been part of my life, here and around the world. Currently, Anoush, who was recently inherited, is a character with great leaps, climbing, as part ocelot (USA mini leopard).. she loves being outside as much as inside cuddling or sleeping cross pawed. Our senior kitty, Serenka (short for Serendipity, because of the amazing way she showed up in my life in Prague) even got her own passport so she could come home to California with us:). She died of old age, last year, yet was more of a morning cat, while afternoons were for peace and naps. In the evenings, she'd wait until the house was still, then guard the corner edge of the bed near my daughter. We cats… yep, I feel like a cat sometimes:))—need love, space, peace and play in the right moments. I understand that balance between play, rest, space and simply being together quietly. I love that every cat is beautifully different. And in our family, we even had a cat live to 21!:). That was an adventure!

About: I’ve always had dogs and I have yet to met me a dog that didn’t like me. My friends started to notice when I’d come over to their houses, that I’d pay more attention to their dogs, than I would to my friends. If their dog didn’t get a walk that day, I’d offered to take them by myself. I’d always give them extra affection. I would even teach them new tricks. Recently, I’ve had to put my two old dogs down. So I’m now available to spend night away from home. Knowing how much I missed having a dog to love and care for, my friends started asking me to watch their dogs. They trusted wouldn’t just take him out to go to the bathroom, but I would actually care for them and give their dogs the same affection I’d give my own. I work Friday and Saturday 9am-4pm other than that my schedule is wide open. Days I work I let dogs out before and come straight home after work to relieve and take for a walk. I’m available for sleep over or just to get your dog out of the house for a nice long walk. Dogs are just like having kids. They need just as much care and attention. Your home is your comfort zone. I respect people property and when you return home, it will be as if you never left.
“Reliable and great! I’m a returning client as I trust her with my dogs and feel relaxed leaving them knowing they’re getting adequate needs met including long walks :) Amber is wonderful!”

“Jeanne’s wonderful! She’s so lovely, calm, friendly, and warm. Jeanne’s home and garden are a paradise oasis of fun for humans and animals alike. Our dog loved her dogs, and they romped and played together. Jeanne also treated our pup to a walk through her beautiful, peaceful, safe neighborhood. We look forward to bringing our dog to visit Jeanne anytime.”

“Brandi is absolutely amazing. Romeo had two special days of doggy day care with Brandi. We received photos and updates throughout each day which made us very happy and comfortable leaving our baby with her. Your pup will love her too! We will definitely rebook with Brandi when we are in the Sonoma County area again. Thank you Brandi ❤️🐾🐶”

About: Hi there! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover and a proud pet parent who has been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. As an adult, that’s given me a lot of experience with animals of all shapes, sizes, personalities, and quirks! ❤️ I’ve cared for dogs ranging from 10 lbs to 100+ lbs and have experience with puppies, senior pets, and dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding. I’m comfortable with behavioral challenges including anxiety, reactivity, and food aggression, and I have hands-on experience with puppy training and basic commands. Cats have also been a huge part of my life. I’ve lived in multi-cat households for most of my life and have experience with cats and kittens of all personalities. One of my most memorable experiences was when a stray cat came into my home and ended up giving birth to her kittens right on my lap! 🥹🐱 I’m also comfortable caring for chickens and have some experience with birds, rabbits, reptiles, and fish. I regularly pet sit for friends and family, and I decided to join Rover because caring for animals is genuinely something I love doing. I work full-time, so pet sitting is my fun little side job—and I couldn’t ask for a better one! 🐶🐱💕 I don’t have any breed restrictions and I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine, instructions, and individual needs. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, so I’ll treat them like my own, communicate with you, and send updates as often as you’d like. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or feathered, scaly, or fluffy!) family members! 🐾✨ I currently have morning and afternoon free time. If you have scheduling questions, please ask! I would love to work things out and care for your pet! I follow directions well, so if there are any specific needs I will do my best to meet them. I can communicate as much or as little as you need with app updates and pictures.
“Ashley made us feel very comfortable leaving our 2 pups with her. Our meet n greet with her, her pup and her baby went well. She was very communicative and sent photos and videos during their stay. “Daniella was wonderful :) She clearly loves dogs and our pup immediately loved Daniella! She sent photos and videos and checked in with us - will definitely book with her again. Our pup had a blast!!”

About: Dogs & cats have been in my life since I was born! Growing up, I’ve taken care of so many dogs, cats, and even geckos. These lovely pets including my own, my neighbors, & my friends! I’m currently working Sunday and Monday mornings and in school part time on Tuesdays and Thursdays while focused on saving up money to further pay for my college education, so I have plenty of time available around those days to take care of your lovely pets! ♥️ My Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are completely free and I’ll be happy to keep your furry friend company, on a walk, or check in on them while you are away. :) I have four (some very shy) cats and a dog at home, so while I am unable to bring cats into my own home, I will be able to stay full-time in your home with your fur babies and provide them with all the care they need, while they’re comfortably in their home-environment.
“Kyle watched over my Labrador with a recent toe injury AND during a blistering 115 degree heat wave. While thousands of miles away I never worried with Kyle. He is incredibly dependable, easy going and flexible. You can’t go wrong with Kyle caring for your best friend.”

About: Hello, pet parents! 🐾 We live in Sebastopol and visit Warwick in October 2026. I’m Ariel (and sometimes, Ella 10 years old/cat whisperer and very occasionally Mats:). and I offer drop-in visits, feeding, cuddle/play time for cats and dogs+, and dog walking in Sebastopol. I also offer overnight pet/house sitting in the Warwick, NY area when I’m visiting family (see my October 2026 calendar) and occasionally in Sonoma county. *A little Rover note: I joined Rover a couple of years ago and was just getting started when a family illness shifted my attention and priorities for quite a while. *I’m now back and happily opening availability again. I did continue care for animals that had already been under my care, outside of Rover, during that time, and I’m looking forward to building my Rover community, too:). I have a soft spot for animals who need a little extra understanding—shy, nervous, cautious, quirky, young, older, escape-prone, or simply very particular! I pay attention to their signals and let them show me what they need. I’m often the person who ends up with a cautious cat or dog coming to sit at my feet—even when they don’t usually approach new people. 😊 I’ve grown up with and cared for animals my whole life, and our family currently includes a much-loved part-ocelot rescue cat. *Your pet’s comfort, safety and happiness are my priority while you’re away. I’m always the primary responsible caregiver. My husband Mats (also on Rover and background - checked) and occasionally our animal-loving cat whispering 10-year-old daughter Ella join me, yet only when you agree and your pets are comfortable with it. I’m warm, attentive, patient and playful—yet, equally happy to give an animal the quiet space they need. If this sounds like the kind of care your pet would love, save my profile and reach out, anytime (I DO occasionally take last minute requests, so go for it:). I’d love to meet you all! 😊 My schedule has some flexibility. With my home studio, virtual clients and office, I’m home much of the day, and many days I coach and work from home. There are various late mornings (occasionally earlier mornings), mid-days and eves available. With the exception of some school drop-off and pick-up times for my daughter, I’m available for loving up, walking, etc. at/from your home or in your neighborhood, as well as some in-home daycare/visits or, occasionally, at our house where we have our cat. Your pet family member(s)’ safety and care is my top priority. See my reviews and the high level of trust they reflect. Mutual communication is a top priority:). I work and care with responsibility, loving awareness, kindness and attention to your home, yard, gardens, gates and environment. I enter gently, calling your pet’s name so they know I’m there, and slowly open doors/gates to help keep escape artists safely inside:)). We’ll enjoy time together in or outside according to the moment, your instructions, their energy, health and the plan. Having grown up with cats, dogs, ducks, rabbits, birds and more, I understand that every animal has their own temperament, personality and preferences—including how they like (or don’t like) to be picked up, held and approached. Getting to know each other with care is a priority. Through living, traveling and working around the world, I’ve cared for animals in many different kinds of homes and environments. I’ve also had our own pet sitters/carers, giving me firsthand experience of what it’s like to entrust someone with your beloved animals and home. Your home and pet(s) are in good hands. My intention is for you and your pets to feel at ease and have a safe, happy experience all around:).
“Melissa was wonderful! She has a lovely calm confidence and was very understanding of our two dogs and their different personalities. She is very professional and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs of different personalities, sizes, and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I love going on walks, playing, giving cuddles, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work as an on-call pharmacy technician, so I have a very flexible schedule. I’m also enrolled in school with online classes, which allows me to be home and available throughout the day. I’d love to spend that extra time caring for and keeping your pets company! I have the flexibility to give your pet the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I have one dog at home and we have a doggy door that gives him access to our back yard that is fenced and gated.

About: I have five years of experience providing dependable house and pet sitting for multiple families, including stays of up to three weeks at a time. I understand how important it is to know that both your pets and your home are in good hands while you’re away. I’ve cared for cats, dogs, and even a ferret! I provide loving, attentive care to every furry friend, while also taking care of household needs like watering plants, collecting mail, and keeping an eye on the home. My goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving their families peace of mind. After a career as an engineer and geologist with the State of California, I’m happily retired and enjoying a flexible schedule. When I’m not fan-girling over rocks or spending time at the bowling alley, I’m probably fan-girling over someone’s furry friend! Retirement gives me plenty of time to provide attentive pet care, and I can accommodate most schedules, including daytime visits, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable in your absence. I’ll treat them with the same patience, kindness, and care I would want for my own pets.

I have no doubt that Daisy is in good hands with Melissa .”

“Susan was an amazing caretaker for Ryder this past weekend! She took him on several fun walks and made it feel like a little vacation for him. We loved receiving her updates and adorable photos throughout his stay. Ryder was clearly very well cared for, and we would absolutely love to have Susan help with him again in the future.”

About: I have cared for a wide variety of animals over the years. I spent several years volunteering at a veterinary clinic and later at a humane society, where I gained hands-on experience in animal care, handling, and support. I telework so I am at home most of the day. When I do leave, my dog gets to hang out in the dog run where he has access to comfy beds, toys and an upstairs patio where he can keep an eye on all the goings-on. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a safe, secure space for dogs to run, play, or relax comfortably. With my previous experience volunteering at a veterinary clinic, I am confident and comfortable administering medications when needed.
