About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. I understand that every pet is different and will learn how to make your best bud feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

About: Hi I’m Kaitlin! I graduated from SSU as a biology major and I have my exotic animal and wildlife rehab certificates. I currently work at Township Animal Hospital as a Vet Assistant and have experience with animal handling and giving medications. I have been surrounded by cats and dogs my whole life and currently have a German shepherd and 3 cats that are my babies. I would love to take care of your animals any way that I can and give them all the love that they need. I can pet sit, walk your dog, or just visit your pets for a little play date whenever you need me. About: I’ve been around animals all my life. I’ve always had a dog or a cat growing up. I’ve dog sat for my aunt when she on vacation traveling since I was 18 years old. She had dogs from Dalmatians to mawltises to hound dogs and boarding collies. I’ve had rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs and cats growing up. I’ve even taken care of birds and reptiles. I just love animals and I love taking care of them. I feel if the world lived life more like a dog the world would be a way better place. I’m a store manager for shell gas station so I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and what hours I want to work. But I mainly work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and four hours on the weekend. I have a dog door with a fenced in yard as well as garage with a dog door in it so i can separate if need be. I also have a aunt that live less than five minutes away that can always drop by and check on them as well. I live in a very safe area in an HOA community with a park around the Corner. Quiet street, with very little bother. I have a fence in yard with dog door, garage and gates. I have a dog super friendly as well as two cats super friendly. I do have the ability to keep cats separated as I have an up stairs room I can keep them in or the garage. But all my pets are friendly and good with other animals.

About: Animal caretaker at horse ranches, farms, and house pets with a lifetime of experience. Horse mom and dog mom to a very sweet 9 yr old Rottie-Shepard named Leif. Self-employed, so I spend all my time with my own pup. He loves playing with other dogs, so we want to host some furry friends! We live on 1/2 acre with a deck for napping on and a nice yard full of sticks and tennis balls. Several big dog beds. Right next to walking trail. Potty breaks can be on leash, on tie out, or off leash with supervision depending on owner preference. Have medium and XL crates available for use, but bring what makes your dog comfortable. All good dogs with parent permission that are allowed car rides may get dog park trips, easy hikes, or beach days depending on our schedule and the weather. Puppies and senior dogs welcome. I understand complex feeding schedules and medication and am happy to stick to your routine. Photo and video updates daily. Your dog will be tired and happy when you get home! I’m a self-employed, part-time remote work from home weekday mornings and local gigging musician on weekends, gone for around to 3-4 hours. Wifi camera set up with access on my phone, with microphone and speaker. My yard is mostly fenced, except for the front of the driveway. I live on the back part of 1/2 acre that is fenced. Dogs will be supervised for potty breaks, on leash or off depending on owner preference and behavior. Can also supervise on tie out for potty-shy dogs. Play on the yard and between dogs is supervised with walks on bike trail and adventures to nearby parks when allowed.

What to expect When you book overnight house sitting, I stay in your Santa Rosa home so it stays occupied, secure, and running as usual. Pets keep their normal routine. The house gets daily attention. A typical overnight sit includes presence in the home, morning and evening property checks, feeding and fresh water if you have pets, mail and package handling, plant care, trash and recycling on pickup days, lights and locks as you specify, and a quick look for leaks, odd noises, or anything that needs a heads-up. I send photo or text updates so you know things are on track. If you do not need someone staying overnight, regular house checks can be scheduled instead. I stop by on a set cadence, walk the property, handle mail and packages, water plants, confirm locks and systems, and flag anything that looks off. I bring twenty years in the trades plus security and property-management experience, so I notice small issues early. I carry one million dollars in insurance and I am bonded. Clean federal background check. House-check visits can be scheduled separately. We start with a Meet and Greet. You walk me through the house, pet routine if any, alarm, keys, and any off-limits rooms or cameras. I follow your written list. No guests unless you approve it. House left tidy when you return.
