About: I have been raised with dogs my entire life. Before I was born there were large dogs in the house which I grew up alongside. As I grew the number of pets in the house increased to include exotic animals like reptiles and farm animals. From 9 years old I was individually responsible for the care of a flying squirrelly who lived a happy life until she aged. From 13, myself and my siblings were responsible for the care of large and small farm animals as well as four dogs in the household at one time. My unique experience with many types of animals makes me a prepared caretaker ready to take on any challenge your pets may have. I have open availability to house sit or drop in anytime. My weekends are also open. Early mornings and late nights are available aswell, dm me with any questions 😊. All pets recieve me full devotion when they have my time. Dogs and cats require more connection with people than many realize so I strive to maintain their activity needs as well as their attention needs. Furthermore, any pets that are supposed to stay indoors will stay indoors and pets will be fed and walked promptly. Medicine will be administered any way and any time the pet parent requires.

About: My wife and I have taken care of many dogs throughout our lives as dogs bring us deep joy and satisfsction in life. Dogs I have taken care of are Yorkie, Chihuahuas, Westie, Shiba Inu mix, Labrador Retriever( hunting dog), Shih Tzus, Husky mix and more. My partner has taken care of a wide of variety dogs, cats, and other pets as well. Our love for dogs always want us to treat and care for them as best as possible. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who I love like he is a family member and I hope I can bring that level of care to other dogs I have to care for. I have also taken care of senior dogs in the past. Taking care of people's dogs does not feel like a job to us, rather a joyful and fun experience for us both! I'm Pet First Aid/CPR certified through American Health Training. I understand the procedure on how to properly handle dogs from all sizes who are choking, poisoned, unresponsive, how to check vitals and perform CPR if necessary. The training gives me the best understanding and preparation on how to best handle a pet emergency. My wife is also knowledgeable of CPR/ Pet First Aid Care as I taught her what I learned from the course as we both find it really important to care not only for the pet's needs, but be best prepared for an pet emergency. Even with all the demands of life, we always give dogs under my care a lot of attention and have all their needs met! If I have to leave the house for whatever reason, my wife will give her attention to caring for the dogs as we love working as a team to care for our furry animals. If there are any dogs we care for that have separation anxiety issues, we can make sure to give that dog always has company! I live in a two story house with a small backyard that is fenced. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who loves people and has gotten along well with other dogs in the same household. My dog is not one to try to make friends with other dogs as he does not like dogs coming up to him and in his space, but he can get along well with dogs of similar size or bigger dogs with time and has been in situations where he got along fine with mulitple dogs in a house. My house is spacious so there is plenty of room for the dogs to move about. We have multiple rooms and a dog gate where they can be comfortable if difficulties come up with getting along. I currently live with my wife and two parents as all three are dog lovers who are highly experienced with pet care, so in case I need to leave the house for errands or other needs, my wife can provide attention to the pet if need be as the pet can always have supervision. I will be home very often so I can take out the dog frequently and I live close to a park that's great for walking, and our neighborhood is very safe and plenty of places for walking. The dogs will always have access to fresh and clean water in the house. I will be very attentive to the pet's needs and be very sure they are well taken care of and comfortable under my care😊.

About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. About: Fully vaccinated even have a booster shot and work at Paradise Pet Resort as a Dog Play supervisor. Have been petsitting since I was a kid and have volunteered many times at Sonoma County Animal Shelter and even worked at Sonoma Humane Society. Currently have a beagle and 2 cats. Through petsitting and volunteering I also learned to give meds including insulin and learned to care for all different size dogs and cats from small to large. Typically take care of them In the morning and try to come somewhere in the middle of the day to check on them and feed them at night. I check in on them 2-3 times a day and if needed I can stay with them at night. Will walk them at least 30 mins or more 2x a day unless asked other wise cats I will try to spend time with them unless they don’t come won’t chase them. Will clean up after them make sure they have necessities and play with them.

I’m just as committed to providing calm, one-on-one attention and have plenty of experience caring for dogs who aren’t especially social. I have a fully fenced yard and a friendly, dog- and cat-social dog at home. My cat is comfortable around dogs, though he can be a bit selective with new cats. Pets are welcome on the furniture and even the bed—this is a home-away-from-home environment. If your pup prefers their own space, that’s no problem at all. I have multiple dog beds throughout the house and plenty of room for a crate if that’s what they’re used to. I’ve dedicated a lot of time to training my current dog, Rupert, and I’ve only ever owned rescue animals, so I understand the patience, structure, and consistency they need to feel safe and thrive. For walks, I always come prepared with freeze-dried treats to reinforce positive behavior and make the experience fun and rewarding.

I also cat and dog sit, available to spend the night and stop by during work hours or work from home. I love sitting and petting a cat while watching a movie or taking a dog out on a spring lake adventure. I am available anytime on weekends and during the week starting after about 6 or 7 pm. A few days of advanced notice is preferred for overnight care, as I can arrange to stop by during work hours two times between 8 am -5 pm or to work from home. About: My family has always had pets my whole life, including a dog for 14 years and 3 cats. I was always dealt the task of taking care of them so I am very familiar with pet sitting. I was very good/reliable so this job seemed like a natural choice for me. I am currently working at a gym, but only 17 hours a week so this will be more of my main priority. Other than the part time job I am free! I have a fenced yard with a lot of room to play, as well as a safe and comfortable neighborhood street for walks. I also have 2 very friendly cats that stay either outside or in my Mother’s room.

About: I am an aunt to an 11 year old pug who requires special dieting and walks. I am able to house sit and I am extremely patient and caring. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to be remote on Mondays and Fridays and I am able to take time off + lunch breaks. I have extensive experience house sitting at my sisters for our two family pugs- Bronco and Shelby! (We are a Ford family).
