About: I am a fish biologist, but love all animals. I am new to Rover, but my friends and coworkers regularly rely on me to care for their pets. I have cared for dogs with special needs, such as epilepsy, senior dogs and puppies. I have done basic dog training courses with my 30 lb tripod dog and volunteered walking dogs at my local shelter. I will treat your furry family member with love and care! I work remotely from 8-4:30 pm most weekdays, so I’m available to provide attention and fun for your pet most of the day. I usually go to the office on Mondays and Thursdays, but I may be able to accommodate if your pet cannot be alone for 8 hours. I am an active person and would love to take your dog to the park or beach or for walks on trails, if they do well in those settings. If your dog is lower energy, I can match that energy too! I am excellent at following directions and will follow your pets normal schedule. I am observant and will pay attention to your pet’s well-being. You can expect clear and consistent communication if you trust me with your furry family member. I am happy to take your dog for multiple walks a day and accommodate special food or medication schedules. I am a respectful, clean, non-smoker, in my 30s. I work from home on weekdays, so would just require internet access.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was about 11, so 7 years or so. I am very comfortable with both big and little animals, ranging from hamsters to horses. I have experience with senior animals, big dogs, horses, chickens, pigs, cats, and more. I am currently attending the SRJC, but only have online classes as of now so my schedule is very open to fit your needs. I like any excuse to get some exercise so I'd be more than happy to fit in a few walks a day with your pets, as well as house sitting, boarding, and drop ins. I am very flexible on pay, please just let me know what you need from me and what you're able to pay, I will take pretty much any job. I have a large open yard that is fenced in the front, but has a small (very shallow; no risk of drowning) creek running along the back, providing a natural sort of fence with nothing but a field behind it. I have one dog that is very friendly and easygoing, as well as some cats around the property that sometimes come inside but don't care much for dogs.

About: I am a devoted animal person. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs. I currently work remotely and have a flexible schedule. About: My wife and I have taken care of many dogs throughout our lives as dogs bring us deep joy and satisfsction in life. Dogs I have taken care of are Yorkie, Chihuahuas, Westie, Shiba Inu mix, Labrador Retriever( hunting dog), Shih Tzus, Husky mix and more. My partner has taken care of a wide of variety dogs, cats, and other pets as well. Our love for dogs always want us to treat and care for them as best as possible. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who I love like he is a family member and I hope I can bring that level of care to other dogs I have to care for. I have also taken care of senior dogs in the past. Taking care of people's dogs does not feel like a job to us, rather a joyful and fun experience for us both! I'm Pet First Aid/CPR certified through American Health Training. I understand the procedure on how to properly handle dogs from all sizes who are choking, poisoned, unresponsive, how to check vitals and perform CPR if necessary. The training gives me the best understanding and preparation on how to best handle a pet emergency. My wife is also knowledgeable of CPR/ Pet First Aid Care as I taught her what I learned from the course as we both find it really important to care not only for the pet's needs, but be best prepared for an pet emergency. Even with all the demands of life, we always give dogs under my care a lot of attention and have all their needs met! If I have to leave the house for whatever reason, my wife will give her attention to caring for the dogs as we love working as a team to care for our furry animals. If there are any dogs we care for that have separation anxiety issues, we can make sure to give that dog always has company! I live in a two story house with a small backyard that is fenced. I currently have a Shih Tzu mix who loves people and has gotten along well with other dogs in the same household. My dog is not one to try to make friends with other dogs as he does not like dogs coming up to him and in his space, but he can get along well with dogs of similar size or bigger dogs with time and has been in situations where he got along fine with mulitple dogs in a house. My house is spacious so there is plenty of room for the dogs to move about. We have multiple rooms and a dog gate where they can be comfortable if difficulties come up with getting along. I currently live with my wife and two parents as all three are dog lovers who are highly experienced with pet care, so in case I need to leave the house for errands or other needs, my wife can provide attention to the pet if need be as the pet can always have supervision. I will be home very often so I can take out the dog frequently and I live close to a park that's great for walking, and our neighborhood is very safe and plenty of places for walking. The dogs will always have access to fresh and clean water in the house. I will be very attentive to the pet's needs and be very sure they are well taken care of and comfortable under my care😊.

About: I have been raised with dogs my entire life. Before I was born there were large dogs in the house which I grew up alongside. As I grew the number of pets in the house increased to include exotic animals like reptiles and farm animals. From 9 years old I was individually responsible for the care of a flying squirrelly who lived a happy life until she aged. From 13, myself and my siblings were responsible for the care of large and small farm animals as well as four dogs in the household at one time. My unique experience with many types of animals makes me a prepared caretaker ready to take on any challenge your pets may have. I have open availability to house sit or drop in anytime. My weekends are also open. Early mornings and late nights are available aswell, dm me with any questions 😊. All pets recieve me full devotion when they have my time. Dogs and cats require more connection with people than many realize so I strive to maintain their activity needs as well as their attention needs. Furthermore, any pets that are supposed to stay indoors will stay indoors and pets will be fed and walked promptly. Medicine will be administered any way and any time the pet parent requires.
