“Thank you, Amanda for always taking such great care of Bella, keeping an eye on her aging and alerting us to changes you’re seeing. We know she’s in great hands and enjoys her special time with you each day.”

“We’re so sad to see Ashley go—she’s been an incredible dog walker and a big part of Mila’s life in just a short time. Our German Shepherd absolutely adored her, and it’s easy to see why. Ashley was attentive, dependable, and completely drama-free. She always showed up, took such great care of Mila, and made everything feel effortless. We’re going to miss her so much, and we wish her nothing but the best in her next chapter!”

About: Hi there! I’m so excited to welcome your pup into our home. I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I started fostering dogs and puppies when I was just 15—often caring for entire litters at once- and I've always had dogs by my side, even during college. When Hurricane Katrina hit, I spent two weeks in New Orleans with a dog rescue group, helping save pets from the flooded areas. That experience deepened my love for dogs and taught me how resilient and special they truly are. Over the years, I’ve also worked with professional trainers to make sure my own dog and my foster pups are happy, well-behaved, and thriving. I’m a stay-at-home mom with plenty of time, patience, and love to give. Our family adores dogs, and our own fun, silly rescue pup from Mexico can’t wait to meet new friends of all shapes and sizes. We’re lucky to live near a park where I can take your dog on walks, and when we’re home, they’ll get nonstop cuddles, playtime, and attention. Leaving your furry family member behind can be stressful, but I’ll treat them like one of my own. Whether they’re here for a quick visit or a longer stay, you can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, loved, and cared for around the clock. Can’t wait to meet your pup! :) Currently, I am home full-time, so I am available to take your dog for walks and play anytime! I will occasionally be called to soccer practice or games, in which case, we have a safe home for your pet to stay in. Our home is full-fenced and secure, so they can run and play in our backyard. We are also on a quiet cul-de-sac with lots of friendly neighborhood dogs. The dogs are free to roam the house with plenty of dog beds provided. They will be taken for walks twice a day with all-day access to potty breaks in the backyard. In between there will be lots of snuggles and pets, with another dog here as a playmate! :)
“Kyle really helped us out this week! He was always on time and our dog really liked going on walks with him. When our dog got home he was just as happy as can be. Thank you Kyle”

“Emma is fantastic! Oakley loves her and she really goes the extra mile to be helpful ?! I had to be gone into the night once and Emma stayed with Oakley for a couple of hours just snuggling!”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs for 30 years. I have two Pittbull mixes , one boxer Pitt and one Pitt bulldog. The Pitt Bull Dog has intervertebral disk disease and used my training in occupational therapy and massage and did physical therapy with him myself so he could use his back legs again, after being paralyzed and needing a wheelchair. He’s now able to walk without his wheelchair. I’ve also taken pittbull training classes with them and am knowledgeable about training cues. I currently work as a distribution sales executive, and work from home, so have free time in the afternoons and weekends. I have a baby and two dogs of my own and would still be able to take some time to visit other dogs in my area. I can check on pets during the day or while clients are on vacation . I can take them on walks, let them out in the yard, play fetch , feed them , snuggle them, and even give medicine.

“We had our first drop in and walking visit with Michelle and nothing but high praise and tail wags for her services. She a wonderful communicator and clearly in great command in being able to entertain and walk our two our two fur babies. 2 dogs, higher costs- but piece of mind in knowing that an experienced caring person will be here. We look forward to seeing her again for walks, drops in and some future planned over night house visits. Eileen F”

“Melissa is amazing; she is punctual, communicative, friendly, and my pets adore her! I am never worried when I leave my pets in her care; I know they are well taken care of and that means the world to me. I can’t recommend her enough!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Molino
Kyle has been my go-to dog walker for the last two years. He walks my husky Korra 2-3 times per week depending on my schedule, and has also taken care of her when I've gone away on vacation. Kyle is kind, responsible, flexible and so easy to work with and communicate with. My work schedule shifts week to week, and I sometimes need to ask for a walk last minute, and Kyle is always able to help. We love him!

Melissa is an absolute professional! My dog Noodle came from a shelter with some PTSD issues. He is sensitive and slow to trust individuals. It can take days for him to settle in with someone new. He usually has to meet a sitter or walker a couple times before we bring in their services. I had an unexpected injury happen and needed a dog walker immediatelly. I wasn’t able to provide Noodle his much needed daily walk. Noodle’s walks require distance and mental stimulation. Melissa showed up like a super woman, knew exactly how to work with Noodle’s sensitivity to stranger’s. She was kind, patient and truly skilled with working with dogs. I had no worries with Noodle being with her. He would come back showing he was supported by her, and received the specific attention he desperately needs. I will add, she was on time, communicative, sent pictures. She discussed details about the walk and Noodle’s behavior. I can’t wait to work with Melissa again, it was that good of service- Christy

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Molino. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Molino.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
