About: I was a primary caregiver for our family dog for most of her life, including her later years. I've carried that experience to a number of clients whose pets have had a variety of emotional and medical needs. In the past, I have: - stayed in for 4th of July to soothe the nerves of a sensitive beagle - organized play dates for a very social terrier and her friends - fed medicine with a syringe to a rat who was feeling under the weather - rushed a spirited corgi to the vet after eating a toy caused him serious gastrointestinal distress - rubbed anti-fungal foam on the foot of an aging pit bull (then gave her plenty of scritches, because that must be stressful!) I'm a part-time student at the junior college, so I'll only need to be away for a few hours at most. Homework can always wait if there's a ball that must be played with! Dealing with trips can be taxing for everyone, so I’m committed to making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re out. That means keeping up their routine, playing with them, and giving them hours of cuddle time every day (if that’s what they like). To put your mind at ease, I can also provide daily check-in photos.

Our dog needs extra attention on walks due to reactivity and also has specific feeding instructions, and Evan was incredibly accommodating with all of it. About: I’m a dog person and am experienced with all kinds of dogs in all phases of life! Exercise, stability and love seems to be golden. I aim to keep a pet’s home routine for feeding and walks that they are used to. I’m consistent with feeding, meds and all specific instructions. I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.

Micki came right away for the first interview. When it was time to pet it, she even arrived a bit early. Paid close attention to all instructions, and there were a lot. Texted photos while I was gone. When I arrived home, the house and pets were in good order and she even stripped the sheets and put them in the washer! Extra points for that.
Rithy was absolutely amazing! She cared for our dog, Ollie, during our wedding and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and able to be part of such a special day for us. She was so easy to communicate with, kind, attentive, and truly wonderful to have around. She handled every part of the day so smoothly, from helping with photos to making sure Ollie was settled and cared for afterward. Knowing he was in such thoughtful, capable hands let us fully enjoy our wedding day. You could tell how much she genuinely cared about Ollie. By the end of the day, she felt more like a close friend attending our wedding than someone we had just met. We will be using Rithy for all our house sitting going forward and I cannot recommend Rithy enough!
Holly is an amazingly caring, responsible, clean sitter. We have two large dogs and she made sure they were both well cared for. She even read to them just like we do at home.
