“Melissa is the best! She has watched my cats twice now and takes such great care of them. My cats are high energy and she spends lots of time playing with them and making sure they never get bored. I also appreciate her level of communication and updates that she sends! Melissa is my first choice when booking a Rover!”

“Thank you, Holly for your service in watching Ryder and being with him. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I loved the pictures you sent from the trips you made to the park. My brother said rides in the car are what he lives for. I appreciate your efforts to entertain him. It helps so much to be relieved knowing there is someone there for him. He gets lonely so easily.”

“Andrea takes exceptional care of our dogs- I almost feel bad for them when we come home because they’ve had so much fun with her! Along with taking great care of them she writes great updates and sends photos so we don’t miss them so much!”

“This was my first time using a dog sitter through Rover, and I was very happy with Joshua. He was very responsive, sending pictures and keeping me updated on how the dogs were doing. I highly recommend and will definitely use him again.”

“Susan did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs and cats for the weekend. They were well cared for and well loved, as her adorable pictures showed. She was extremely trustworthy, a great communicator and went above and beyond caring for the animals and our house. We are so lucky to have found her and can’t wait to have her come again!”

“Gina did such a great job taking care of the place and making sure I had regular updates and photos throughout my trip. It meant a lot to have that peace of mind. She is truly an animal lover and I am so glad I found her! Definitely would recommend. Excellent job!”

“Tony was great. She communicated with me letting me know what things were happening and going on and sending me photos. The house look like no one had stayed here so she was extremely neat and conscientious.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rithy! She is timely, communicative and treats your pet like they’re her own. This was my first time using Rover and I feel lucky to have found Rithy. She stayed with Clover for the weekend, texted me photos of their adventures, and she made homemade food for Clover! I think they both had a great weekend together.”

About: I have had pets most of my life since I was a small child. I have a deep bond with animals and love getting to know their individual personalities and having a great time playing together. I am currently working part time on my own schedule so I have a great deal flexibility to come play with your pets and provide them with my undivided attention! I provide care specifically based on each individual client’s requests and unique needs. Please let me know your preferences, needs and concerns. Thank you!
About: Hi, I'm Bernadette! Many people miss this, so I'll put it right at the top: I can only take little dogs up to 15 lbs for boarding and daycare (with rare exceptions—you can always ask). But I'm happy to offer drop-in care for anything from goldfish to giraffes in the little town of Graton, CA (so far, cats are the biggest fans of that service). Caring for animals isn't just something I've done my whole life, it's something I love. I'm a former pet shop owner and a professional pet sitter of 40 years. I've cared for just about every kind of pet, from horses to mice, but dogs have always been my favorites. I offer: 🐾 Little Dog daycare in my home 🐾 Little Dog overnight boarding in my home 🐾 Drop-in visits to your home in Graton for dogs, cats, and other pets My home sits south of the Graton town center, serving West Sonoma County. A Cozy, Calm Environment for Small Dogs I specialize in small dogs (up to 15 lbs), with occasional exceptions. Senior dogs are always welcome! Your friendly, quiet companion will spend their visit alongside my two sweet senior dogs in a peaceful home setting. Because I live close to neighbors, I can't accept frequent barkers. Comfort & Safety First Dogs have access to a secure, fenced yard for fresh air and exercise. I let dogs out at least every couple of hours during the day and supervise outdoor time. Overnight rates cover a full 24-hour period. Since I work from home, I'm almost always around, which means consistent supervision and attention all day. I'm happy to accommodate most special needs with advance discussion. Due to my new living situation, I can only take puppies that are quiet and reliably house-trained, or comfortable wearing a diaper, or relaxing in a crate indoors. Good to Know Before You Book 🐾 New pups wear a diaper at first, until I'm confident they're reliably house-trained (new environments can trigger marking, especially in males) 🐾 I'm vegan, so if your dog eats raw meat, please pre-portion it into individual meals 🐾 Bringing their own bed is highly recommended to help them settle in; otherwise all they need is a leash and food Most dogs relax within a few hours and get plenty of love the whole time they're here. If you're looking for a calm, attentive, experienced home for your small dog, I'd love to meet you both! 🐶 Note: Mr. Q, my blue and gold macaw, prefers dogs who don't try to eat him. I work from home, so I'm almost always around to interact with your pets. Most dogs love coming here and can't wait to get in the front door! Little dogs enjoy hanging out in my quiet home and fenced yard with my two mellow old pups. Even most dogs with separation anxiety quickly relax and have fun. It's like a doggie play date!
“We had an awesome experience with Sebastian watching our 2 dogs for a week. He has been my dog walker for a while now and when we planned a trip he was my first message. Great communication and left the house is great shape.”

“Leaving a pet behind while traveling is never easy, but Josephine made the experience completely stress-free. She was a fantastic house sitter who took wonderful care of my dog, Emma, and kept me updated with regular messages while I was in Germany. Beyond being great with pets, she also tended to my garden during my two-week absence. If you are looking for someone reliable and attentive, I cannot recommend Josephine highly enough!”

“Lucy was so great! We had a last-minute request that she was able to accommodate, she was great at communicating and sent us cute pics of our pup Capri, and Capri loved her! Would definitely book again (:”

“Blake is a top tier pet sitter. She went above and beyond to care for our animals and home. When she showed up for the meet n greet taking notes I knew we were in great hands. Upon return animals were so happy and relaxed, the house and garden was cared for beyond asking, she truly is a gem! Thank youuuu!!”

“Wow. I feel so lucky to have found Laura! She is wonderful with my dogs. While I was away, she kept in constant contact with me and returned every text and phone call promptly, which really put my mind at ease. Laura is very friendly, kind, and caring, and I know my pets and my home are in good care when I am away.”

Kyle was fantastic! From the moment we met him, he was professional, friendly, and put us at ease. He took wonderful care of our kitten while house sitting and sent regular photos and updates, which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our vacation.Knowing our kitten and home were in such good hands made our trip completely stress-free. Kyle was attentive, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure everything was going well while we were away.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely book Kyle again. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter!

Micki did house sitting for our two big Akitas, one is a rescue and has some special needs. She was great with them - didn’t seem like they missed us at all (which is unusual). We already have her booked for several nights in about a month. She is a great find! Jim K.
Holly is an amazingly caring, responsible, clean sitter. We have two large dogs and she made sure they were both well cared for. She even read to them just like we do at home. She came to our home and stayed for several days. We will definitely be having her back. If you are lucky enough to hire Holly she’s exactly who you want to watch your dog(s)!

Robyn was a fantastic dog and housesitter! She was extremely communicative and responsible, and took great care of our two dogs while we were away for Thanksgiving. I felt very comfortable leaving the pups with her and she left the house super clean. I would love to book her again in the future! Highly recommend.

Clair has always been a huge help with watching our dogs and taking care of our house! Lots of updates and the dogs really enjoy her. Her communication is great, our dogs always look like they’re having a good time in her photos, and we come home to a tidy house. I definitely recommend Clair for dog and house sitting.

Rachel was so wonderful in every way! She took the best care of our home and our fur baby, Huck while we were away for our wedding. She was super communicative and sent lots of wonderful photos. It was clear how much Huck loved her!! We can’t wait to work with Rachel again soon.

While planning an overseas trip, our biggest concern was about our crew, 3 cats and 2 dogs. In fact, we had a bad experience a few years ago when our dogs boarded at someone's home so you might say our concern was justified. But those worries melted away when we first met Betsy. She quickly bonded with our pups and even two of our cats who always hide around strangers became Betsy's buddies within a few days. Betsy took great care of the crew, keeping us updated and sending multiple pictures. And even when there was a small hiccup along the way, we appreciated the fact that she was honest about it. She also took good care of our home and I can't recommend her enough.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 865 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Molino. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Molino walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Molino maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Molino choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Molino. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
