She took time to understand each dog’s unique personality and tailors her care to each. She was also extremely communicative, and sent us pics multiple times a day. Highly recommend!”

“Alex is terrific -- and having him housesit with our cat TK is a joy. Alex gives the cat love and TK reciprocates -- that's clear from the photos Alex sends showing the cat snuggled up next to him (or sitting on Alex's computer, demanding attention). Alex also played sitting-tag with a friend, who came for several days, and coordinated with her so that care for the cat and watering of our garden went seamlessly. Finally, TK had a few puking incidents. While TK did not apologize to Alex, I did. Alex's response? "No worries! Animals doing animal things." He's a great sitter with a sense of humor.”

About: I have lived with pets my entire life. I have experience with pets of all ages and sizes, from a puppy boston terrier to a senior german shepherd. I have experience walking large dogs and dogs that do not get along with other animals. I love getting to meet and work with animals and getting to know all their unique personalities! I am currently in school and working. On the weekends I am more than happy to spend the entire time with your pet, and during weekdays I am happy to stay overnight after I get off of work. I will spend quality time with your animal (if that is what they want) and will ensure they have enough food and water, especially if I am helping out on a weekday. A Cozy, Calm Environment for Small Dogs: I specialize in small dogs (up to 15 lbs), with occasional exceptions. Senior dogs very are welcome! Your friendly, quiet little companion will enjoy spending time with my two sweet senior dogs in a peaceful home setting. Because I live in close proximity to neighbors, I’m not able to accept frequent barkers. Comfort & Safety First: Dogs have access to a secure, fenced yard for fresh air and exercise. I let dogs out at least every couple of hours during the day. I supervise outdoor time carefully. Overnight rates cover a full 24-hour period. Since I work from home, I’m almost always around—which means your dog receives consistent supervision, attention, and care. I’m happy to accommodate most special needs with advance discussion. (Sadly, due to my new living situation, I can no longer take puppies unless they are very calm, reliably house trained, and able to wear a diaper or relax in a crate when in the house.) IMPORTANT: To help visiting pups settle in, I require dogs to wear a diaper initially, until I’m confident they’re reliably house-trained (new environments can trigger marking behaviors, especially in males). If your dog eats raw food, please provide it pre-portioned into individual meals (I'm vegan and prefer not to handle raw meat). Bringing their own bed is highly recommended to help them feel secure and comfortable. The only other things they need are a leash and food. Most dogs relax and settle in within a few hours—and they receive plenty of love. If you’re looking for a calm, attentive, experienced home environment for your small dog, I’d love to meet you both! 🐶 NOTE: Mr. Q, my blue and gold macaw, prefers dogs who don't try to eat him! I work from home, so I'm almost always around to interact with your pets. Most dogs love coming here and can't wait to get in the front door! Little dogs enjoy hanging out in my quiet home and fenced yard with my two mellow old pups. Even most dogs with separation anxiety quickly relax and have fun. It's like a doggie play date!

My dog was clearly happy and well cared for. She was acting like "Welcome back, where's Roisin?" Roisin sent lots of pictures, kept in good communication, took my dog on hikes and walks that we can no longer do. My dog was thrilled and so were we. Roisin stayed over a couple of nights and you'd never know anyone had been here...except for the happy dog. We will definitely asked her back again.
Holly is an amazingly caring, responsible, clean sitter. We have two large dogs and she made sure they were both well cared for. She even read to them just like we do at home. She came to our home and stayed for several days. We will definitely be having her back. If you are lucky enough to hire Holly she’s exactly who you want to watch your dog(s)!
Robyn was a fantastic dog and housesitter! She was extremely communicative and responsible, and took great care of our two dogs while we were away for Thanksgiving. Clair has always been a huge help with watching our dogs and taking care of our house! Lots of updates and the dogs really enjoy her. Her communication is great, our dogs always look like they’re having a good time in her photos, and we come home to a tidy house. I definitely recommend Clair for dog and house sitting.
While planning an overseas trip, our biggest concern was about our crew, 3 cats and 2 dogs. In fact, we had a bad experience a few years ago when our dogs boarded at someone's home so you might say our concern was justified. But those worries melted away when we first met Betsy. She quickly bonded with our pups and even two of our cats who always hide around strangers became Betsy's buddies within a few days. Betsy took great care of the crew, keeping us updated and sending multiple pictures. And even when there was a small hiccup along the way, we appreciated the fact that she was honest about it. She also took good care of our home and I can't recommend her enough.
Lindsay was an absolute blessing. She arrived on time and took great care of my animals. Her attention to our home and animals made our vacation away very relaxed. She also sent constant updates and photos during our time away which we very much appreciated. Highly recommend her!
